The hardfork occurs at this block height this time, so your node should be running on the new version, before the chain reachs this height. This exchange is scam. Stay away of this shit. GLT got listed recently and they asked to share the listing on Social media to all users. We had to try out this exchange before we publish it. So one Team member sent a test transaction. After 20 Confirmations it showed "Transaction succeeded, your Coins has been sent." But nothing arrived until today, it is almost 6 days ago. So stay away of this scammy exchange. On request what's wrong with their system, they answered the problem is being worked on ... For days now   |

On 17th September 2019 the first GlobalToken halving occurred.
All rewards halved at block 840,000.
The next halving will be in ~ 1.5 years.
The halving is a new milestone for GLT.

Please forgive if this has already been answered but I did look! Can this be mined with a Bitmain A3 miner?
Antminer A3 is at this time incompatible with GLT. You cannot mine GLT with an A3. |

Dear GLT fans,
One month ago we announced the upcoming hardfork that is planned.
At the current situation with huge dumps, and lesser mining chances for miners, we decided to split the hardfork and we will work on it asap.
The GLT Hardfork 3.1 will include:
- 60 algos
- For now no auxpow, we will integrate a spork to turn auxpow off and on in cases, the chain would be more secure
- Integration of algo hashrates
- Initial loading improvements
ETAs:
- Coding on this fork is estimaed from April 2019 - May 2019
- Release of the new Wallets (GLT Core v3.1) is estimated right after the Coding phase (~ 15th May 2019)
- Activation of the Fork is 4 weeks after the release (~17th June 2019)
The auxpow rule with 5 blocks and intelligent auxpow will be integrated by end of this year.
The GLT Hardfork 3.2 will include:
- The newest Bitcoin Core Code merged into GLT
- Full auxpow database (security improvement)
- Intelligent auxpow regulator (the 5 block rule plus special scenarious will allow more auxpow blocks in case the nodes detects too much blocks from a single order)
- Masternodes will help to auto regulate the auxpow system and to keep the auxpow data secure. After that we will think to integrate DIP3 MNQuorum update and other stuff.
More will be announced then.

Hello everyone,
First of all, we are glad that you are here and that you are a part of the GLT Community.
I just want to give you a short overview what is planned and what is happening in the background.
1) Android Wallet: Yes, it is still in progress, but it is harder then expected. The problem is that there is no existing Equihash / Zhash implementation for Android / Java, thats why it's delayed.
We are working on it. We keep you updated.
2) Lots of requests about the Whitepaper: We will work directly after the Android Wallet on the Whitepaper.
3) Core Upgrade: A Core Upgrade is planned with the integration of network hashrates for all algos. It will get some more fixes like Initial loading speedup and we will merge Bitcoin Core Code up to 0.18 into GLT.
4) Masternode Quorum: Maybe some of you noticed the DASH MN Quorum update, we will consider this upgrade as well.
5) Algo extension: We thought to extend multialgo from 30 algos to 60. You can suggest the algos, you want to integrate and we will consider them, if possible.
6) The AuxFork: With GLT 3.0 we introduced the Multialgorithm system and auxpow, with it's goal, to stop dumping and distribute the coins better instead to big mining whales.
Since some pools started merge mining for lots of algos, and are not paying out the coins, this goal has not met. More and more algos are unprofitable and miners stop mining.
That's why we thought about a next hardfork that will:
- Change the merge mining rewards. On merge mining Blocks, the Merge miner will get 25% and the Masternode 60% (Change of the reward distribution)
- A brand new feature will be coded, that will regulate the auxpow. For example if the diff is low, more merge mining blocks will be accepted, to keep the chain secure.
--> The target it to allow every fifth block only for auxpow per algo, that means that there must be min. 4 blocks mined normally, without auxpow until auxpow is allowed again.
--> The most Pools with merge mining are profit switching /yiimp pools, that are just selling the merge mined GLTs instead of fairly paying them out to the miners/workers. This is not the goal of auxpow.
