Awesome stuff FT! Really looking forward to future updates. Did you DOWNLOAD the videos? If not, then the problem is probably not the videos themselves, but the Dropbox video player. (Had lots of similar comments.) Thanks...download worked fine. I didn't know there were issues with Dropbox video player.

Camp BX did finally respond and help me with the Dwolla transfer. It was a setting on my Dwolla account that was set by default but needed to be changed in order to get money in Camp BX. Everything has been working fine since then...but I haven't tried to pull anything out of Camp BX yet.

I would be very appreciative of an Open Transactions subforum! Open Transactions, and the bitcoin integration development going on are some of the most exciting things happening on the forum. It would be nice to see everything in one place...and I would agree that this facilitates the network effect.
Please, please do this!

Too good to be true. Unfortunately, I can't think of a way to protect myself if this is a scam.

Hey sign me up as well! I'm not a big poster here, plus I lurked without registering for months, but I would love to meetup with people in Houston. Anybody work in the Galleria area? I would be willing to go downtown as well. There is also that new company Houston Bits which claims that they will be hosting some bitcoin meetups in the Montross area.
Looking forward to meeting some of you.

Thanks! I really wasn't expecting to get anything. I am just passionate about the bitcoin experiment (albeit still new to it) and was happy to express my reasons for joining in.
I appreciate your generosity, it will sit in a "wallet of honor" as the first bitcoin I ever owned. Thanks again!

Very generous poster. I am a newb and he welcomed me to the community with my very first 0.00862068 bitcoins!
I consider this like the 1st dollar bill that a business earns and they hang it on the wall. Thanks!

I would definitely use a bitcoin search engine. In particular, it would be nice to be able to restrict a search for online vendors that accept bitcoin.
Thats a great idea. I need somebody to make some text lists. if someone will do this i could have the site up in a matter of days: 1. list of vendors 2. list of faucets, gambling sites, and others 3. list of altcoin websites I could get on that. Should be easy enough. The list of free bitcoin sites here on this forum will help a lot. What I would recommend is after compiling the list of sites is to email them all asking if they would be interested in advertising on the search engine. Basically an attempt to follow the Google search engine model for advertisements. That way the engine can be self sustaining and grow to accomodate the large influx of new businesses using bitcoin. I would be happy to help by emailing the businesses and asking for their support.

Has anyone been having issues moving money from Dwolla to CampBX? I have repeatedly (over several days) tried to move money using Dwolla and keep getting the same error message. CampBX is saying that I have insufficient funds in my Dwolla account or that the Dwolla API is down. I have called Dwolla and they are sure it is neither of those things. Still waiting to hear back from CampBX after I logged a help request 3 days ago.
Anybody else? Advice?
Dwolla API is throwing error for several accounts. We are working with Dwolla developer Michael to resolve this. Thank you for your response. I would really like to use CampBX, however, I am getting frustrated by this disconnect with Dwolla. I will post again when my issue is resolved and if I was satisfied by the service. As of yet, I have had no reply to my help request.

I'm interested. Especially if I become unsatisfied with the BFL hosting service.

I have an increased uneasiness regarding the massive money printing (devaluation) of world currencies. Never before in history has there been a currency war on this scale. I believe that any responsible person who cares about safeguarding their investments should be looking for opportunities. Bitcoin represents one of those possibilities as we as a host of others that I originally was not concerned about but which have proven more interesting as I have learned more. I've decided to participate in this experiment by mining bitcoin myself and I have invested in a couple of the ASICs. To date, I still do not own a single Satoshi (after researching for several months) but am waiting patientlly for my ASICs to arrive.
Thanks.

Really appreciate the help!

To DannyHamilton:
I am another newbie trying to understand some similar things to the OP. Could you explain a little bit more about the "extranonce" and how it operates? After doing a few searches in the technical bitcoin Wiki I am still not getting very far.
As a solo miner, is it possible to predetermine a set of changes to the block header in advance to allow a very fast processor to calculate more than the maximum nonce set (2^32 possibilities) before having to reconnect with the mining client?
Thanks for your help!
