I am also seeing this. I use a unique email address that is a long string of random alphanumeric characters - too many to guess. It was added to my bitcoin talk account February 2013.

One from "BitCoin-Carrding" admin@ink-hack.su, and just now 'Eden Smizaski invited you to view the file "WorldPay_Trade_Report_-_ September 2016.zip" on Dropbox.' which is a zipfile full of nasty obfuscated javascript.

Can confirm, got the same email to a 100% unique email address. I can guarantee you that this email was not used anywhere else.

Database was definitely compromised. (probably the 2015 hack) and finally spreading now.

I would like to introduce myself but at the same time I don't really think there's a point. People will automatically learn who I am if I stay active.

I'm not going to leave this place ever after 5 posts.

I think it's reasonable to take a bit of every coin you think has potential, because in the small chance that one takes off you can make a lot of money. However, investing in Xcoin clones with a few tweaked parameters isn't worth it in my opinion.

I'm also interested how they managed to send a PM to my username when I haven't written a message in the trollbox for over a week (banned). This attack was clearly planned out well because they have been harvesting usernames for a long time.

I don't understand why Mt Gox doesn't invest on some better protection.
Cloudflare offers protection that can deal with hundreds of gigabits of data (proven in the spamhaus case) and it only costs $200 a month. Then there's the case where bots place hundreds of orders, well how about making people enter a capcha before placing a sell/order when they are under a high load- it's better then having the trading engine lag to heaven.

I don't think dedicated trolls are going to be stopped by this but at least it will slow them down a little.
