1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for local transactions on: December 18, 2016, 07:26:42 PM

I think we need to rethink the concept of local transactions, because when we are dealing with Crypto - even local payments involve a global component.

Take the concept of paying in store; even when paying in store you have to send data over a network, which is often connected to a global network, and the internet.

Knowing this, it is just as easy to a non-local transaction as it is to do a local transaction, since all one is really relying on is the network to process the payments.   Consider the Alcurex exchange remote markets engine.  This is just another perfect example of a local transaction on a bitcoin exchange that is happening instantly, while also accessing a non-local market, via Poloniex or Bittrex, so in reality, no transaction is ever truly local?

What do you guys think?  Are transaction ever truly local?
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: December 18, 2016, 03:12:20 AM
Training can be disappointing when the markets go upside down, but if you are trading, then you usually understand that markets go up and down, and with the good comes the bad, and I haven't been robbed as bad on trading as other scams (mostly mining scams), and defninitely doesn't make me as upset as gamblbing, which can make the money come or go really fast.

Overall, I love trading coins, and that is why I am in this industry.  I trade on all major exchanges, but call Alcurex my home exchange since it is small and convenient, with great customer service and friendly members.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of features are you looking for in an altcoin? on: December 18, 2016, 03:04:47 AM
I like Victorious Coin -- it has a good symbol and is cheap, and should gain traction over time (hopefully xo)

No volume on this coin, but I would like more if there was some volume.  lol

Sounds like some feedback from the peanut gallery, and if you are so smart, why don't you dump then?

To think you guys know what you are talking about - maybe you should do your homework since Bill and Melinda Gates already gave Factom the award, and yet you still talk nonsense as it you are stuck in the past.

Instead of running your mouths, maybe you should put your money where you mouth is, and either dump or pump instead of being a bunch of bandwagon jumpers.   Smiley

Do you guys even know what M2 is going to do to FCT's price?     Or, did you know that Billionaire Tim Draper just invested 4.2 Million?

6  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Remote Markets Using Alcurex? on: December 17, 2016, 05:43:15 PM

Ya, that is true I guess, thanks for clarification.  So I guess the real perk of the Alcurex remote markets are for those looking to trade on Polo?  (without having to do the AML/KYC)?
7  Economy / Exchanges / Remote Markets Using Alcurex? on: December 16, 2016, 10:44:51 PM

I know there is no AML/KYC on Alcurex.com and high volume remote trading on Poloniex and Bittrex?

Is anyone using this as a workaround?
