3  Economy / Trading Discussion / How to do trading? on: March 19, 2017, 06:01:23 AM
Well i know its very basic question.. But i'm facing a problem in it.

I want to buy a commodity from a guy. He is willing to sell it at 110usd and accept payment in bitcoin. If he would specifically asked for this amount of bitcoin i can easily pay him, but how in usd?

I mean if i buy a bitcoin, the seller will include his premium in it. So if i pay him 1000 usd, he'll pay me bitcoin worth 950$ or something like that.

So, how much amount of btc i need to pay to that guy so i get 110 usd of that commodity, as if i pay him at the same rate as of marketprice i would be in loss.

For example,
The current market price of 110 usd is 0.109BTC. If i buy from anyone he'll definately include his premium amount and i'll get less bitcoin in return. So, If i pay to other guy 110 usd of bitcoin, i should include my premium too? So, i need to pay what amount? Marketprice amount or bitcoin amount ( after deducting my share of premium)?

I'm also new here.
Please tell me if i've posted in a wrong thread.

Please teach me some basic of this trading.

Regards

Hello guyz ..

Actually the thing is, i've bought ethereum from the pre-sale. I've then written down the password on a sheet of paper. Though i know its for technical people who have enough knowledge about its programming, i bought  about 2,000 ethereum, due to its volatile nature, so i can earn some profit with its trading. I've also downloaded its .json file. I got to know that i cannot trade the ethereum then, so i kept it aside. I found that there is some 'Genesis Block' (which i don't know), and i can trade ether only when it launches.

I've lost the sheet of paper since then. Yesterday, suddenly i've found that. Now, i've its password and wallet file.

But what i don't have is technical knowledge. I've searched on google and everywhere on how to set up ethereum wallet on pc and how to import the .json file to wallet. But failed to understand its technical terms.

I got to know that i need to download either geth client or eth client, while eth client requires C++ knowledge which i don't understand.

Can anyone tell me how to setup ethereum wallet and how can i import the .json file to the wallet? And what is this genesis block, what is its use?

Please provide me with the official and latest link to download the wallet.

Kind Regards,

Well why don't use https://jaxx.io for saving ETH I have use it for long time ago, it is simple, safe to put your ETH than use pc wallet and it is save your time too, but if you want get more informations about ETH you can check on announcement thread of ETH visit this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=428589.new;topicseen#new
You can ask about ETH on there, the comunity of ETH will answer your question on there, good luck.
thanks for your reply.

No, i don't want to get into this. What if sometime in future they go scam? I would prefer to keep in a official and secure wallet.
