1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Overview of lightning network nodes owned by forum users on: June 01, 2021, 01:08:32 PM
Thanks for supporting the network! I have just opened a small channel to you. Enjoy some free inbound liquidity. By the way, what software is your node running?

Thank you, much appreciated! The node is running RaspiBlitz 1.7 on a Rpi 4.

I can open a channel back as well but wanted to check with you first. I can open an additional 500k sat channel this month if anyone else would like some inbound liquidity.

Edit: Unfortunately, I won't be able to keep my node up. I hope this changes soon and I can post updated info here again. Good luck and thanks to all of you keeping the network going.

Great post and good luck!

Here's my lottery rig running on top of my lightning node. Brought it back to life recently. Had a transaction stuck in the mempool way too long during that drop last month and realized I don't feel comfortable unless I'm fully engaged in the network, however statistically insignificant that contribution may be.
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcing the FutureBit Apollo BTC - A Full Node/Mining Platform for the Home! on: May 29, 2021, 03:21:45 AM
Just learned about this product and really liking what I'm reading. I signed up for notifications of the next release. I'm looking forward to replacing my jalapeņo for lottery mining and saving my sats stuck below slush pool's minimum payout.

I also started lotto mining with ckpool recently after resurrecting my old Jalapeņo. Next project is getting it and my node running on solar energy.

Regarding the forum theme, is the bounty for suggesting the default theme, or the themes included for the user to choose from?

Edit: The default themes kinda suck right now... This or this is what I would use if I had the option to.

Hey guys, I put my Pre-Order for a Little Single on eBay a few days ago, in case anyone here is interested. I'd be shipping this with UPS Second-Day Air the same day I receive it.

Hello folks,

I've been laptop mining since last March (I've made .02 bitcoins since then :p). I'm studying economics, and the recent events with bitcoin have resparked my interest in the currency. I'm doing regression analysis on bitcoins for a school project, if anyone has any interest in this.

I'm interested!  What's your focus?
I want to try to explain variance in BTC value in USD as a dependent variable, using different equations for different factors like technical (difficulty, generation rate, etc) and economic (exchange rates, market indexes).

I'm not sure how effective these will be, as there are so qualitative variables that affect Bitcoin value, but I will still make all this data public for people more capable than I Smiley
