So addictive.

not the best luck, but at least i cashed out a tiny bit more than i cashed in. wish it was faster, tough to stare at the spinning thing while trying to hide the screen at work.

5  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: May 21, 2013, 08:43:25 AM
Just a word of warning about Switch Poker - I deposited 0.7 btc earlier today and haven't seen a single other person in the bitcoin rooms. I decided to withdraw everything and they say it takes up to 48 hours to process the bitcoin withdrawal.

48 hours. 48. hours.

 Huh

Yer bitcoin is not their main focus definitely, dont worry though you will get your btc back.

I'm still waiting for a reply from them, which is odd as before I made a deposit they were very helpful and responded within minutes to some questions. It's been quite a while now Sad

7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price alert idea on: May 16, 2013, 11:41:39 AM
There's already an IOS app that will alert you to whatever price you want. You can set up as many alerts as you want too. Free app, free alerts.

Been using it for a while and it works well.

Don't think I can post any links here yet, so just search for an app called 'Bitcoin Ticker'. It isn't limited to one exchange either, it has gox, btce, bitstamp, btc24 and tradehill (I've only tested on gox and btc-e).

Looks dodgy to me.

I laughed at their images - did they do them in ms paint?

My guess is they will either take your money and run or take your money and skip away whilst maniacally laughing at you.

Is there a limit to the amount of free hugs that I can receive?

I'd definitely like one, but I'm just worried I'll be scammed into paying for my second/third one.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's Hard to doing Business in This Forum if we are Newbie on: May 13, 2013, 01:55:15 PM
yeah... Many Newbie in this forum had a diffuclt to build his resputation
because the other senior member have a labeled him a scammer before he doing anything.
The Point is, If we just offered some service but just got labelled a scammer before we had doing anything ,
when we can build reputation... Its not fair dude.......

the irony is in the scammer list, the people who had being scam another member in this forum are the old member
who had good reputation in past time.

so don't just too early the newbie  was scammer, and it's not guaranted the old member is a honest people.

uhm, what? the rules are in place for a reason. it prevents abuse. it doesnt stop abuse, it prevents it. there's a difference.

i'm guessing it also helps prevent the forums being filled up with silly questions like "oh hai, i luv the bitcoin - how does i mine it?"
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many bitcoins do you have? on: May 13, 2013, 01:46:43 PM
I reached my first whole bitcoin over the weekend. Been playing around with mining and got everything set up to get me ~7 litecoins per day. Trying to keep an equal amount of litecoins/bitcoins/usd's so i can buy/sell when i feel like it.

so far so good Wink
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is pool mining LTC on a laptop CPU a bad idea? on: May 13, 2013, 01:43:49 PM
It's a bad idea. Laptops don't have the air circulation needed so it will over-heat very quickly. Also, the amount of kh/s's it generates will more than likely not be enough to even cover the electricity you've used.

14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How come I can't post?? on: May 12, 2013, 12:00:16 PM
Seems like a good system to me, bit annoying I didn't know this before as I've been a long term lurker. When it came to registering to contribute to something worthwhile - I found I couldn't reply :| oh we'll, lesson learnt.
