bitching and moaning about poor luck or administration hiccups are "on topic" for this thread.

Bitching about poor luck is on topic...LOL...HAHAHAHAHA!

This is what I have to say about that:

Hey friend, "luck" is at 34% and we are another block that might last half a day. How do you feel about bitching about poor luck now? Still not on topic? How about the way the pool starts crashing right before a stretch of bad "luck". Pool solved 2 blocks yesterday :|

You use a movie clip to discredit this idea, funny stuff, but does anyone at all think there might be more than coincidence within the "luck" we see? I'm not accusing the pool owner of stealing, but I see a pattern where the pool will have technical issues, and then we get slammed with bad "luck" for a few days. Doesn't pass the smell test...

Personally I think it's fine...bad luck is bad luck...I am not a conspiracy theory guy, so I just don't care...I roll with it and not get my panties in a bunch.

I am into BTC mining for fun, not money.  Sure, I bought ASIC's, but I did it all for the love of the technology not because of greed.

I am down as well, I have heard all the pools are down for some reason...

Meh...guess we just have to wait.

I got quoted in a few posts...my work is done here...lol.

Bottom line is this, if you feel you are getting ripped off...leave.  If you go to BTCG you are doing a disservice to BTC in general and in the end are only screwing yourselves.

Yeah sure, there could be better communication here, but for the most part everything runs smooth 98% of the time, so there is no need for all the extreme crying when one simple block has a database issue and then it gets repaired eventually.  Your shares are recorded in a database, in case you didn't know, and even if the block is confirmed and the payouts say "None" this can and always does get fixed.

I just think it's funny when this happens and all the trolls come out into the light and show their ignorance of BTC pool mining, or just ignorance in general.  I have been a member of Slush's pool for a long time, and it's by far the best that I have experienced.

That's my 2 cents so you can bash me if you like, I don't care, I am an adult and I act like one too.  I can handle it without wanting to kill myself because some guy on the Interwebz made fun of me...lol.

I love all the cry babies involved in BTC.  I come to the forums here for a good laugh when I see a block get messed up, just to make sure it wasn't just me.

Yup! I'm joining ranks of people getting ripped off today.

LOL!

If anyone here has been on Slush's pool for more than a day or two, then they would know that they always get fixed in a few hours or a day or two.  Quit crying...or well wait, don't cause I need my laughs...lol!

Both of those blocks have now been fully confirmed and the Shares/Reward has still remained unchanged.
15  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [8500 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: April 28, 2013, 05:17:40 PM
I got the same issue on those particular blocks.

Blocks 17736-17737 seem to be off on shares/payout.   I am not worried about it, just thought I would mention it as a problem as well.

Thanks Slush for all your work!

Still down for me...
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining hardware on: April 25, 2013, 08:04:19 AM
That's just not being open minded...

Josh at BFL has stated that his intention is to put high hashing power in the hands of everyone so that no one entity can have 51% power.

I would believe that over mining conspiracy.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining hardware on: April 25, 2013, 07:44:17 AM
Yup that's the one...ty didn't link handy.

There are a couple Youtube videos in the past couple days of a DEV using his and some talk of a customer getting one...

They say new orders will ship in July...but what they say is to be interpreted...

They are beginning to ship now though...slowly...
