Im totally agree with you, people only take things for free. Who support the core developers ? Bitcoin world, a 6 billion capitalization currency, lots of software implementations, lots of apps, lots os business, lots of transactions, but nobody cares about the code....someone will fix it ! they say

I think bitcoin its a powerful idea, and maybe a decentralized system is not cheaper, but i think its needed, its very possitive to have an alternative system, im convinced bitcoin will never scale and i think its better for the bitcoin ecosystem. Bitcoin will have a brillant future as an alternative currency : scarcity, secret, special, tool, elite ,... = value

So we have a brillant currency, but we dont want flaws, so a professional team of developers , 10 full time c developers well motivated and well payd its mandatory, how? through commissions... bitcoin network users must to pay for this service or there is no brillant future for bitcoin.

I think the proyect is abandoned , but i think Catalunya needs a great proyect of a national cryptocurrency, in November there will be a referendum about independence from Spain, its a great idea to Catalunya to be backed off by an alternative currency, a innovative one, providing people a new way to improve the economic wealth of a new formed country. More than Auroracoin (i think in the beggining was a great idea), this new X cryptocurrency have all the winning cards to become a key point in the adoption of decentralied money. I think there is time left to the dev team to go ahead with the proyect and take it seriously, if not another dev team could make another launch.

I think the key is to inform political forces of pro-independency parties of the feasibility of making a national cryptocurrency, the big pro-independency party is an anticapitalism one, ERC and i think they will be interested, Spain allways arguee about Catalunya never will be aceppted in EU neither EURO currency if independence wins, having the posibility of making a strong national crypto is more than a threath to Spain.

Well my plan is to transfer 1 BTC to an adresss an publish it. Another option its to publish the price as a item on some bitcoin auction website. Im thinking on it , ideas wellcome.

Hello,  some days ago, i received a facebook invitation to do what is called Tibu´s Legacy , a sort of new and cool social phenomenom, basically consists on be wet on a funny disguise, i do that, and upload my video to youtube (i dedicated my video to all people in the cryptocurrency world), i decided then to make a simple website to explain this funny phenomenom and to encourage people to follow the Tibu´s Legacy.

Today is not a country , but it have a lot of independence from central goverment both economically and in law making, also  the majority of the political parties currently on regional parliament are pro-independence of spanish central goverment.

But the most important thing is the national feeling of the people of Catalunya,  the vast majority of people have this feeling , and this is a fact,  historically a majority of Catalanya people have a feeling of be a nation itself.

In this climate of economical crisis, and the central goverment making mistakes every day, acting with represion against the people over the entire country like a non-democratic state, this coin have a great future.

On the other hand maybe the devs are only trying a brick and mortar heavy dump, i dont know because i mostly dont participate on forums. If this is true , its a pity becuase on a fundamental analisys the coin can be a  success.

By the time of the attack the WDC network had nearly 1 Gh/s of power on the lowest, this means that the attacker needs 1,* Gh/s of power and the network then raises up to 2 GH/s .

This is a lot of hashrate, i think, and a big manouver to only win 64.000 WDC...

Who is this guy? Having such power it a real threat to altcoins ....

Im a spanish recreational minner, minning since Feb-2013 , reading a lot this forum , finally i purchase  two BFL Jalys in April , not received yet, i continue on my 5850´s for fun .....

Im currently working on bitcoin e-commerce proyects on my own, to make bigger this network. I think bitcoin could be one of the multiple factors needed to change the world a little bit, for a better world,... a world for the people.
