1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ALLMINE INC - FPGA Cryptominer on: August 25, 2018, 05:26:46 AM

UPDATE:

We achieved 41Mh/s at 225W of power usage on Lyra2z today. The board operated for approximately 20 minutes before shutdown occurred. As reported by whitefire and others, the BMC disables the board when temperature exceeds configured shutdown temperatures. We were operating on a completely unmodified VCU-1525; it has no upgraded cooling or components like the BCU-1525 will have. We are confident enough in the hashrate now to report 40Mh/s as the shipped hashrate for lyra2z. There is still some room for some improvement and we may be able to achieve up to 60Mh/s.

WOW! These figures bring a smile on my face Smiley

guys,

really careful about this CLEs!!

No one had see any movies about this hardware, how is works etc!

also no one had receive the hardware at home!

Im waiting about it, because we see everyday so many SCAM shit....people want money very fast....the human are greedy....so very easy to make money with this kind of PEOPLE!!!

Man, what is this obsession about movies? In the 70's and 80's George Lucas created Star Wars and people believed the story. Today people with basic skills and a nice PC can create virtual reality. The only way to be sure is to get the product in your hands and try it. There are two options:
a) grow some balls, calculate the risk, spend some cash and wait patiently for the delivery;
b) or just wait patiently until one of your buddies has done as advised in a) and you can see the results with your own eyes.

There is a saying in my country: the one who is afraid of bear does not go in the woods.

The Zetheron Dynavolt USB Dongle ($95) will be available for purchase on the Zetheron website in a few days with shipments starting in around 2 weeks.  This performs generally the same function as the hard-to-get DC1613A, except that the Dynavolt works right out the box and allows 'live' or dynamic voltage adjustments while mining.  Not only does this give the 30% hash boost on the VCU1525 (11 to 15GH/s on 0xToken, for example), but it also allows the mining software to drop the voltage to the minimum possible level where there are still minimal errors, reducing electricity consumption 15% or more.

The Dynavolt is specifically designed to mount on the VCU1525 and 'live' there permanently.  It also includes an open-platform API library so other developers can access it as well, for live voltage adjustments and live current/power monitoring.

Eric

Well done! Keep us updated when you start the sales.

Can't wait my BCUs to arrive so I can test the bitstreams. Should be interesting.

Thumbs up for the efforts whitefire990.

Check here: https://store.mineority.io/product/fpga/

Kristy-Leigh Minehan (aka OhGodAGirl) has teamed up with GPUHoarder and there is something like 1900+ FPGAs available. At least this is what her store counter says Smiley

Also good news guys - all BCU-1525 orders are coming with risers specifically designed and validated for us for these boards!

If you’re not using them with risers that’s fine, but if you are we’d prefer you have ones that won’t blow up

We’re working to offer great prices on board to board cables - more on that soon.

Great news, keep us updated Smiley

Under Euro 3 bank regulation, online swift by retail customer (us) can't be faster than 3 days from Europe to US. SO if you pay today in euro Allmine will get them on Monday in their account.

To further speed up, as normal and not business customer, you must walk to your bank.
Well, at least that's what they told me this morning

I have made two payment from EU and they were verified in my account on the fpga.land in just two days so EU to US transfers take definetly less than 3 days and with no extra cost at least from my bank.

Well you are lucky because I ordered my wire on Monday, been asked some question on Tuesday, they ran the wire on Thursday, cancelled it the same day for some weird reason (second bank - Morgan Chase - is supposedely a intermediary bank) and they might run it again tomorrow (with a 50€ on top as fee - cancelled but...)

Well, it looks like it depends on the banks and their agreements. I have transferred directly to Morgan Chase and the cost was just 30€ which is the standard fee. I hope you get your payment processed.

Hello David,

Thumbs up for the efforst and ingenuity. Survey is done. I aslo have a lot of questions. The order quantity depends on the results and the limitations of the Acorns. I will wait untill you publish the preliminary results so I can narrow my questions.

I have ordered one of the FPGAs from fpga.lan .and I was just thinking if the Acorn will influence/benefit also the FPGA. I'm almost sure what the answer will be but with my limited experience a second opinion will be good.

Can't wait to see the first test and result. Keep up the good work Smiley

What's up with the discord group btw? Yesterday I was in and now I cannot find it, and wtf is going on with this new ANN thread Cheesy Is the RVN project one big scam or ?

Due to recent events with the original Discord server and original ANN owner/author, the original Discord server is now gone.  You can find the new, migrated server by going to https://discordapp.com/invite/jn6uhur  This ANN page is now the official ANN for Raven.

guys, you really lost alot with this move. i for one will keep my support to you but your team needs to learn that these moves are bad for any business.

The actual dev team looks like they could care less about such things as threads... It was a community driven thing from the beginning.

I also use the Enemy miner since it was released on two 1080ti rigs without any issues. Very stable.

AMD GPU SGMINER [WORKING] ... may be slow but it works... much more improvements are needed... https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Nv_PqILdikdjCeBqybtbrMvWAR78IzGG

Made by merging:
https://github.com/aceneun/sgminer-gm-x16r/releases
and
https://github.com/brian112358/sgminer-x16r/releases/tag/v0.4.0

Try and post results... still disapointing hashrate

Well... not very encouraging with almost 100% rejects. I have tested different pools, different ports and -I from 10 to 19 with the same result. Any ideas what could be the reason?

I tried it on a rig with RX480/4BG that runs stable RVN.

but anyway better join discord. New builds - Linux , etc ...

Link updated. Try again.

And @enemy delivers again Smiley Well done!

Hi guys, have you ever seen such thing? GPU 0 - 80+MH???

ASUS RX480 4G with custom bios. All others GPUs have the same bios.
Core 1100, mem 1880, 890 mV.

It has been going like this for almost 5 hours.  I noticed that it was doing 27.7 and after a new job the hashrate jumps to 81 MH maybe 5 mins after miner started. Temperature is stable. Pool also gives a total of 222-224 MH for the miner. I will keep it running like this unless it crashes and will pray to have the same bug on more GPUs Smiley

EDIT: I checked the shares - GPU0 got only one. So this is some bug that increases speed, but does not increase actual processing of shares. Looks like the GPU revs on neutral.

Hi guys. I have been using 9.2 on two rigs and as 01.01.2017 when the rig restarts by some reason I'm getting this weird freeze of the miner. It hangs after "POOL version". Unfortunately when i'm not around to see that it will stay like this for hours. I use Nicehash pool. This happens once in a while on both rigs. What could be the problem - pool, miner or rig system?

Government, why do not you use version 10 because it has better performance? Your problem may be the result of excessive overclocking or too downvolt. Try to reduce the clock (if you are overclocking ) or increase the voltage.

Switching to v10 is a valid point Smiley I will do that. I was just curious if anyone else had such issue. I run RX 480 8G NITRO+ OC with slight adjustments: core clock 1250, memory clock 2125. Everything else is stock. The interesting thing is that this problem started this year.
Thanks and regards!
