Total coins from POW are a maximum of 1.82M, which puts the premine at 7% of POW. Less than that of the total for POW+POS, but it's still a large chunk.
Whats your recommendation as I value your expertise. much respect IPOMiner. I'd love to see some sort of code-based scheduled payment over time, instead of a lump sum all up front. Having developers sitting on a large chunk of coins (>10% of the first 1000 blocks in this case), right when trading is likely to start and hit at least a local peak, is what concerns most miners/traders about premines. Barring a code-based solution, which may be difficult to achieve in a short time, the common solution would be to escrow the premine if you feel that amount is needed. Thanks for the intelligent concept. We can work with that. |
