The spam attack is making it difficult for transactions to confirm without a higher fee. It looks like this is happening because of the current spam attack on the bitcoin network. Coinbase hasn't confirmed payment, so their algorithm must not be confident that it will confirm. If you'd like to send a second payment with a higher fee to the same address, I'll send the game and return your original payment if it confirms. |

I have a possibly dumb question that might have been answered (there isn't a way to show all posts in the thread that would make it feasible to properly search), but my girlfriend and I can't add each other on the Steam network because neither of us have spent any money on games (we have only played free games so far - essentially warface & batla). Are your codes or products considered gifts in the eyes of Steam? I.E. Will my account have gotten credit for spending something? If this isn't the case, is there any way of working something out where the purchase shows as such?
Gifted games do not remove the limit. See here[1] you need to spend 5 USD on steam in order to get the restrictions removed, gifted games do not counter toward that limit. You could however add 5 USD to your steam wallet without spending them. While preparing the order i noticed that the website doesn't accept game packs (For an example try to request AquaNox + AquaNox 2) it gives back an error, possible unimplemention or thing done on purpose because only ids connected to games can be written on the request game page?

What if everyone gets to sell their steam games on your site, they set the price and everything. You'll be like an escrow service. You could even automate the process with bots. Where the seller transfers the game onto a bot account and after that the game is listed on your site. How can he guarantee that the games put up for sale are legit? You won't know if a code is correct until you redeem it and gifts can be bought using carded credit cards so they will be revoked by Steam. I clearly didn't think this idea trough. I didn't account for people being fraudulent. However there are services that list different people selling keys, I cannot recall the name of that site. My guess is that they have a reputation system in place, where people are awarded reputation for being trustworthy. Steambitshop could at least use that feature. That would mean a complete rework of this site. Even if this is done, there is no guarantee that it would be as successful as the other service that I mentioned. Yes, the main problem would be ensuring that sellers are trustworthy. Something I've considered is allowing a select few sellers to sell their games through the site, but it would require a lot of work to make that possible. I'll keep it in mind. Anyway who thinks that now the steam sales are incoming the website will get a big load with the risk that starts missing the orders? I hope the website can survive a possible wave of requests....
It shouldn't be a problem, I've dealt with several big sales so far. Now that the sales are constant, (no daily deals or flash sales) it's easier. |

I want to focus only on games. Selling trading cards and other small items wouldn't really be worth the effort, unless I can automate the process somehow. |

I just noticed that if i try to put the RPG MAKER MX steam id on the request game it gives me a error, is because the whole site is focused on games or is in fact a problem with your website?
It was a database error, it's been fixed. Ok i tried again just now just to have an idea about how many BTC were needed and it worked, thanks for the almost quick response to the problem. Just for curiosity, is possible to know if the database error was caused because of corroption or it was caused because other problems? I have a script that pulls AppIDs from Steam and stores them in a database along with names. Sometimes Steam changes the AppID of an item, and that caused the error. By the way, I can offer a better price for RPG Maker MV than what is shown on the request page, 0.218 BTC at the current rate. |
