What is the per day/btc amount a block erupter can get on it's own?

Do those normally mine pooled?

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Litecoin mining troubles/ 5830's on: April 08, 2013, 01:17:36 PM
I'm trying that along with downgrading to cgminer 2.11.3
I'll report back when I get a chance

Gates has given away more money than he has.

Jobs was the only hoarder between them.

Buffett worked his arse off to get his piece of the pie, and I don't hold it against the man if he wants to keep a grasp of it.

Been mining 50Kh/s on wemineltc all day
Only about .016 rewards so far...

Not sure if this is normal or not?

Copy/Paste into a terminal that's outputting to /dev/null

If nothing looks bad, then you're good.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Funded my MtGox Account too soon? on: April 08, 2013, 05:34:05 AM
I sent 2 BTC to my MtGox account, even though it's not verified yet...

The transaction has 5 confirms, but MtGox doesn't reflect the balance...

Is my BTC just gone? Cry

I don't understand what just happened.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins trading $230+ on ebay on: April 08, 2013, 04:53:49 AM
Ebay doesn't predict MtGox price in the same way difficulty doesn't predict price.

It doesn't directly affect it, but there is a strong correlation.

Difficulty moves hand in hand with price more than 90% of the time if you remove outliers.

Over 80% with the outliers included.

I'm sure it's not far off.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free silver quarters on: April 08, 2013, 04:49:23 AM
Silver has the highest value of conductivity of any natural metal.

Cheesy
I love conductive things, and I will keep it and cherish it until I need it to exchange for food, ammunition, or shelter in post apocalyptic Earth, as fiat will be worthless. Cheesy
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoins trading $230+ on ebay on: April 08, 2013, 04:47:51 AM

It's true

Most of the Bitcoin auctions, BTC are going for $230+ on ebay.

As new adopters enter, it's only a matter of time for MtGox to catch up.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your Position in the Verification Queue 15500 on: April 08, 2013, 04:34:40 AM
Hey, you verify 15,000 people in a timely fashion. lol
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2011 Wallet.dat file (How do I recover coins?) on: April 08, 2013, 04:28:07 AM
Wole, that worked, I love you. Give me your BTC address sir. Cheesy

Also, I see something funny that happened.
Apparently I took this wallet offline before some of the BTC in it was confirmed.
So one transaction took place in May 2011, the next transaction took place a few minutes ago from the same address lol
I assure you, the transaction took place in May 2011, but because I guess it didn't confirm back then, it just now processed? Wtf lol
15  Other / Beginners & Help / 2011 Wallet.dat file (How do I recover coins?) on: April 08, 2013, 04:02:35 AM
I have a wallet.dat file from 2011.
IIRC it has about 2 bitcoins on it.
Obviously I want to recover them... But how?
The original computer was dismantled, all I have is the hard drive and the wallet.dat file, what do?

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LTC Mining General Questions - Radeon 7950s, Proxies, Pools, Rig [Loaded thread] on: April 08, 2013, 03:45:01 AM
I've been having HW problems with 2.11.4 on my 5830's also.

I'll switch down, and update in this thread if 2.11.3 fixes it.

Thanks for the heads up!
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Your Position in the Verification Queue 15500 on: April 08, 2013, 03:43:05 AM
Oh god Mt Gox, why??!?!?!?

T.T

Anyway, just so people have an idea of how many people are scrambling to verify and start making purchases/trades.

I think as long as we have a verify queue of this magnitude, prices will continue to climb, as this 15,000 person line is obviously in it to start buying and selling.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: jalapeno litecoin mining? on: April 08, 2013, 01:47:17 AM
The Scrypt Algorithm is inherently different from the SHA-256 algorithm.

Bitcoin is based on the SHA-256 algorithm.
Litecoin uses scrypt.

As ASIC's are specialized for one purpose. (In the jalapeno's case, SHA-256, it won't be able to mine Litecoin effectively.)
