hi.
it's always the same card that are faulty ? try switch cards on mb and check if it's the same card ... or the same slot-card who is faulty ?
I git this kibd of trouble, it was a weakness on my psu. what is your PSU ? does the 12v is mono or multi-rail ? if multi-rail, be sure that is not overloaded even if the total power of the PSU is not reached.
Nop, a lot of card can be faulty I already switch card in different pci slot of the mb and there isn't one "faulty" card or slot pci I think it's multi, so you think that my psu is "overloaded" ?

Hi, I have some troubles with 2 rigs, H81 pro btc + 6 RX 480 ref, LEPA Platinium 1700w and I'm using SmOS with claymore Eth Since 2 weeks, I have a lot of reboot, I change wd to 0 and reboot to 0. And some GPU stop hashing but I cannot find one "defaillant" GPU. So I change some risers, downcloack mem and freq but nothing change.. Sometimes, one GPU is not detected after a reboot, so I need to unplug risers, power on, power off, and plug risers. I have good PCI risers, all my RX are flashed with Eliovp roms ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fimage.ibb.co%2FbtG6YQ%2Ffreezegpu.png&t=664&c=FcK3qIjREZ05JA) Args for claymore : " -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal $walletETH.$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -dpool pasc-eu1.nanopool.org:15555 -dwal 86646-64.c9b74e7b28304650.$rigName -dpsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 -etha 0 -dbg 1 -wd 0 -r 0 -dcri 12 -dcoin pasc " Anyone have a good method to diagnose what's going wrong ? My rigs was working pretty well but since 2 weeks, it's terrible.. I offer 0,02 eth for a good help Thanks

Flashing an RX 480 with custom bios on dual mining ETH PASC improve hashrate ?

|

How many ampere do you use? Did you change your electrical installation?
|
|
|
Suggestion : It could be possible to select miner for each rig individually and not all rig mining the same things Especially a difference for R and RX OS That's just a suggestion, because currently the only solution is to have to two different mail address

In bios, did you try to boot on board gpu and not on pci gpu?
Yep, and it boots but GPU-z shows mess with GPUs (wrong info, nothig about memory/gpu clocks, voltage) Did you connect a gpu with hdmi cable?

It's possible to have an access to command line?

Yep. Should work fine. Now none asked if he under volts. He said he does not over clock. But maybe he does not use msiafterburner to set volts lower. Say -50 or -75 or if. Lucky - 90
Afterburner also let fans be set around 80%. And top temp at 80f
So after a week, it's seems to works, just one crash but I think it's due to drivers Thanks for your help, phil I send you 0.1 ZEC on this address : t1d81R73LY4tX9y1VskH6gJELH3PfCvGwz5

What i have done is:
1 PCIE 6 PIN to -> 3 x molex (GND, +12V) , rest, mean 3.3V and secound GND is powered from molex/SATA.
Work great for 3-4 mounths now.

Are you talking about something like this ? /sRkl3D][Suspicious link removed]/sRkl3D/CA4mPr]https://[Suspicious link removed]/CA4mPrSo I will no use those cable with 4 SATA But I found the two others cables who had burn and they have 4 molex .. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimgur.com%2Fa%2FokEK7&t=664&c=pzbYyVHA0O9pFw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimgur.com%2Fa%2FkYnfl&t=664&c=xw9oYVjqXIImSg) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimgur.com%2Fa%2FW5LP5&t=664&c=qKYtDvE94pcPng) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimgur.com%2Fa%2FesyH2&t=664&c=P1ywgbBNNDI4Aw) I was using this riser : ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimgur.com%2Fa%2FW5LP5&t=664&c=qKYtDvE94pcPng) which I will replaced with Phil's risers And RX 480 was not overclocked Do not ever use SATA hdd extender for riser. Use any other PCI-e connector. Molex, standard PCI-e to SATA (in your case SATA to PCI-e) will be fine. DO NOT EVER POWER molex connectors on the H81 btc mobo. It will create a feedback loop and either fry your motherboard or your sata cables) .. In you case you have already fried sata cables.
LEPA PSU us good as long as it does not die. As someone suggested above; use PCI-e 6 pin splitter and connect one end to PSU and other (split end) to USB riser and graphics card. once again.. DO NOT power molex connectors on H81btc mobo it will fry your mobo.
Let me know when it works (I am sure that it is going to work).. I will send you my ZEC address once you let me know that its working. Cheers my miner bud
I will try without molex on the h81 ! Hope it will not fry my motherboard Where can I find those "PCI-e 6 pin splitter" ? Thanks a lot !

you did not read the review. you are using the hdd cables not the pcie cables the review clearly states to use the pcie cables not the hdd/sata/molex garbage. only use pcie cables on the risers. each card gets a feed from the pcie cable on the riser. do not deal with the shit cables ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FBqWKGYh.png&t=664&c=R7n8gobpeG6wfw) Sorry, I didn't saw the PCI on the risers! I buy 6 risers for 66 euros, I should received them 26 Jan, will test them for a week and if it's great I will send you tip ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FzijnkW1.png&t=664&c=lmwl0S7oCP72Ng) So you are saying that your molex connector got burnt ( or your PCI connector got burnt?) Can you take a better picture to show what is broken and where is it burnt? Which motherboard are you using? If it is H81 (as you are having 6 RX480s per mobo so my guess is that it is H81btc pro) then do not power your motherboard through molex power connectors. If you power that molex on motherboard it will burn due to some weird problem. I use a lot of those boards and there is nothing wrong in powering those with a simple sata connector and PCIe to the USB riser. Make sure that you are using only one sata port per USB riser. DO NOT use sata extender (used to power multiple HDDs) to connect multiple USB risers. If needed use Molex to sata converter but dont put too many connections on one line. ...Waiting for the pictures ... I use EVGA 550W to power mobo and sub risers (all 6 of them) and http://www.ebay.com/itm/94-Platinum-1200-Watt-Power-Supply-Kit-for-GPU-Open-Rig-Mining-Ethereum-ZEC-/371643723687 to power all my graphics cards through PCI-express slots. Its a platinum rated PSU so wastage of electricity is wayy too less. Take a look : ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F68uOUOV.jpg&t=664&c=u0mM14VuBT3ZkQ) The last one has burn I use 2 riser on one cable (4xSATA). ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FlKvhAUD.jpg&t=664&c=kT5SUngjedXDsw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fifwq38B.jpg&t=664&c=IrIcnJPE_qkZ9w) I'm using H81 pro btc, you guess well Are you sure I need to not power my motherboard with 2 molex ? How many riser can I connect on 1 cable with 4xSATA ?

If your PSU on warranty - change it. It looks like it is a problem with the power output on burned connector
Warranty is over.. And it's happened on two different PSU

Hi, I've been having issues with my 2 rigs (12xRX480, 2x Lepa G1600w)(have driver 16.11.3) Some of my modular cable from PSU are burning when they are connected to my powered risers (see photo) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fhpics.li%2F8f15c02&t=664&c=aK9R3oJPlpU9aA) This happens to me 3 times and it's always the same connector who burn Should I use pci to molex converter to power my risers? Could anyone help me? Can pay 0.1 zec if anyone give me a great solution
