1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The hunt for Triswardhani (Lithium - XLTH) on: January 27, 2017, 07:58:27 AM
The guy Carlos Torres Ferguson is indeed from Mexico (although he has Panamese roots as well).

In 2014 he used the ip address 201.141.142.53, which is a Cablevision ip address traceable to Mexico City
More recently (last year) he used the ip address 189.218.205.17, which is a Televison International ip address traceable to Monterrey

He is a Windows user, but he doesn't always use the newest versions. In 2014 he was on Windows 7, in 2016 he used Windows Vista
Carlos prefers using Chrome as a browser

I got hard evidence for all this, and I will publish it, but I don't want to further endanger the investigations so you must be a little patient. The guy is constantly leaving traces behind.

There it is.
Google the email address crt.ferguson@gmail.com

You will see it belongs to bct user 'templar77'
You can find it in many threads on the forum, like this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=600322.msg6683579#msg6683579

Templar77 was involved in many controversial actions (Libertycoin):
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=760653.0

Invest for yourself. He is the guy behind Grumpycoin and Dogenex

This is his profile page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=150444
This is also a nice find (Honorcoin) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=639043.msg7218665#msg7218665

Certainly someone with a "history".

I leave it to you to dig up more information for now. Feel free to send me a PM.

Oh, one more thing, just to show how ultimately stupid this guy is: the "exchange source code" that he sent out to level3 investors, contained a database dump. In that database dump, his username and password for the XLTH ICO and Wallet site were stored (password in clear text). How stupid is that? That is where the screenshots came from.
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another 50BTC loss from innocent member of this forum on: January 22, 2017, 07:33:51 PM
The guy left more traces than he probably intended.
I was able to get access to the scammers own ICO account and to his online wallet before he took the coin offline.

Take a look at this topic for more details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1740009.0

hotmail.com, LOLZ

Nope, not hotmail. Stay tuned, if the promised refunds are not sent in the next hour or so, I will tell you what it is. The funny thing is that the scammer gave it away himself (take that literally), but he probably didn't realize it because he is too stupid for that. Feel free to post about it on your twitter.

Reupping the images of the dev/scammers own wallet and ico account.

The email address that the scammer used for his own wallet and ico accounts was a bit obfuscated, but I made part of it readable. Of course I have the full address, but for now I will reveal a part. If you think you recognize the email address, send me a personal message. It belongs to one of the members of this forum, and I don't mean the XLTH dev account.

Dear scammer: make sure you do the refunds within 24 hours from now. I have more information.

24 hours are almost over

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN-ICO][LITHIUM][XLTH] ICO LIVE -GET YOUR OWN EXCHANGE FOR 0.5 BTC! on: January 20, 2017, 10:11:24 PM
If anyone wants the exchange source, if it is even legit, send me a PM. I'll give it to you for .2 btc

Well I have the exchange source and it is unusable. It ranks high in the list of worst coded software I have ever seen. I don't think you should sell it because it is of no use. It has no value whatsoever.

If I don't have a refund by tomorrow morning I will publish the exchange source code and database dump that I got so everyone can judge. This guy is leaving traces everywhere. I am pretty sure we can track down this dev if we combine all the information and traces he leaves behind.
Yeah, there is a zender.com reference there. Idk if it is that Asian kid playing his guitar on YouTube or not but it could be him

Well I found something more interesting when putting all the information together. The dev might have another account on this forum ... I may even have found his real name and nationality. But I am careful, I don't want to accuse the wrong person. If I can confirm the suspicions I will share the information.

Thanks for mentioning the exchange source people. It is valuable information.

Do you think if:

- I found a lithium wallet account that has:
   - received millions of lithium coins
   - has made thousands of payments (you know: the 16.xxxx daily free payments we all receive)
   - has a matching ico account that has invested 0.000000000 BTC

That would be someone involved in this scam?

If so, I got the evidence and an emailaddress that belongs to indeed another user account on this forum. If that is the guy, he is in Mexico.

These are screens from the account:

https://uploadpie.com/NaaiK7
https://uploadpie.com/7omyuE
https://uploadpie.com/lqUBP2
https://uploadpie.com/t4yqjL

Please download if they are valuable to you. Uploadpie may delete those files after 3 days

The first two screens show the account paying daily rewards (the free lithium) and receiving millions of lithium.
The second two screens are the corresponding ico account. Although the Lithium addresses are different, the email address used for the account is the same.

If the refunds are not handled properly I may reveal the email address. Google tells you who owns the emailaddress on this forum.
