1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: January 10, 2018, 05:33:26 AM
Yes, Bitcoin was used by criminals and the underworld to make payments that could not be traced. There was a site named Silk Road which was a marketplace for illegal activities and they used Bitcoin as their main payment method.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: December 06, 2017, 11:43:44 AM
Never! Paper money can never be replaced as all the centralised banks running them would have to close down and governments would never agree to a decentralised system of commerce. Corruption will go rampant if this ever happens so for the good of all, lets hope it does not.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: December 03, 2017, 10:52:32 AM
Nah not really. All that matters is the current price and what it is going to be worth tomorrow and nothing more. Consider 10 years ago if Bitcoin was fixed at $1 we wouldn't have been here to witness the $10k milestone so the varying price seems to go in tandem with Bitcoin's popularity.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Price Moving Towards $7500, Market needs a crash on: November 11, 2017, 01:19:31 PM
You asked for a crash and got one! This is the time for the altcoins to rebound and make it big or else to be forgot forever. It will only be the true and distinguished tokens which will make it happen and I will look forward to this to expect more from the altcoin market this week.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Day trade bitcoins on: November 10, 2017, 02:12:36 AM
Day trading Bitcoin is hard because the price of 1 Bitcoin is very high and everyone would rather invest in altcoins for easier and faster profit.

You can still day trade bitcoins as long as you go in with a big investment and easily flip the 50-100's in difference but there is risk involved in that too.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HILARIOUS!! I got this email from someone looking for Satoshi. on: October 24, 2017, 03:49:10 AM
Haha surely because you had the keyword 'Satoshi' in your email address. Whoever he is, he is just wasting his valuable time to try and find the real Satoshi who hasn't shown himself in almost a decade now.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To Manage Your Bitcoin For Long Term (FOR NOOB) Purposes on: October 10, 2017, 01:41:06 PM
Store them in an offline cold storage wallet, as simple as that. Doing this will not only make it remain securely with you but also gives you a nice feeling from the inside as you watch your BTC grow each day.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex down? on: October 10, 2017, 01:33:21 PM
Haha so many people still using Poloniex to trade with it makes me laugh. The whole site and its support system has been receiving heavy criticism from almost an year now and yet trading on a site like that. Consider switching to an exchange without frequent problems and which offers a better customer support.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin associated to the underworld? on: October 10, 2017, 01:26:13 PM
When BTC initially began it was mainly used for more of underworld trading currency as it was decentral and anonymous on infamous sites like SR. Taking its roots deep from these trades, Bitcoin was able to make it to its current day's price mainly because of attracting fame from high amount of underworld trades taking place through the currency.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when you try to explain people about cryptocurrency do they understand? on: October 01, 2017, 02:18:15 PM
Nobody even understands when talks are about digital currencies they start asking what is internet money is it safe... blah blah and never show signs of trust when the whole system is transparent and highly secure. I take to examples to explain how things work and finally they are satisfied with my explanation.
11  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: January 21, 2017, 02:40:26 PM
There are many websites out there which hand out 'free' bitcoins but either in Satoshis and mBTC via faucets or such things. Basically you need to keep collecting these and save them up till you reach the withdrawal threshold and then withdraw it.

Other than this I've not come across any site which gives free bitcoins to its members.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WILL DONALD TRUMP PERFORMED BETTER THAN OBAMA on: January 21, 2017, 11:14:10 AM
With these speech he delivered earlier, I see lots of potential in Trump holding up every American's dream of 'making America great again'. Let's all hope he does so with his powers!

In comparison to Obama, I think he will be able to outperform him rather easily with what he sees for his country.
