I deposited at the local CVS as I've done numerous times, and this is the first time that its not went through. *(probably $5-10,000 in the past 6 months) ZipZap confirmed successful payment, and now bitinstant is showing errors. I didn't request MTGOX transfer, as I sent it to blockchain.info wallet....  Below is the copy/paste of it. Please fix this ASAP. I have the most important order of my life, no joke. It must be completed tonight, or else I'm in an entire world of trouble. I have a huge amount of trust in you all. Please don't let me down. I'm posting this in the Q/A section, as well as on bitcoin talk, to make sure that it reaches the correct person to get it fixed. thanks!

I have the EXACT same issue as the user described above. My zipzap account number is 485266837. Please advise on what needs to be done to resolve this ASAP. I do not understand why you have the option available on your site when it is clearly not working properly.

Probably just a type on my part.  Thanks for pointing that out.  It won't effect the working status on your ticket.  Level 2 support doesn't organize by Bitcointalk username.  I do because I was hoping to be more personally accountable.  Unfortunately there is not enough time in the day for me to give a million updates on existing issues.  I would rather be actually resolving the issues as I'm sure many of your would agree.  Thanks!  Smiley

It's pretty clear that the you won't get the rate that was current at the time you made the transaction.
It will be the BTC rate of when your problem gets resolved. BitInstant definitely doesn't have the money to refund everyone their lost BTC.
URSAY is not gonna be able to change that, and the only resolution is to stop doing business with BitInstant in the future.

Our automated system does not do this all the time, however when your order is processed, send us an email or PM or post here and refunds will be credited

We our solving all our issues this week, and we thank our customers for bearing with us in this explosion.

Yes, he is not being very nice to you, but it is a relatively simple request. All of us are asking the same question and you have started to dodge it. Saying that every case is different is obvious, but also very unhelpful. It isn't going to be any better in three days when people find out that they aren't going to be able to get the correct price, so saying that we're screwed now is at least a direct answer. I'm on your side with all of this, but I also understand that people, myself included, are starting to get a little worried with the rising prices and not being able to fairly get our coins.

After 6 days I have finally received my bitcoins from Bitinstant. Thank you for your help URSAY.

However, I'm gonna have to submit another support ticket, I will accept receiving a spot on tomorrows list rather than my earlier position because I have improved my standing. I've seen it stated before on this thread that it is Bitinstants policy to honor the transaction at the rate mtgox has at the time of transaction. My zipzap confirmation occurred at 10:11 p.m. Mountain time on the 2nd of April 2013      Account Number: 763171501. The value of Mtgox of that time was around 120 to 130 USD. The rate I received for my $96.01 after transaction fees is less than what the price is currently, likely being completed at the absolute peek in price earlier today. My math comes out to me having received a rate of 192.514353759, this was certainly not the price of bitcoin last Tuesday and I wish to receive the difference, I cannot calculate the exact amount, but I believe it comes out to roughly .3 BTC

He has done nothing but been helpful. As i'm sure you can understand we are all frustrated with this situation, but it is not his fault. I'm sorry your company is understaffed but honestly that is not an acceptable answer to these problems. Your apologies are not putting the money you (bitinstant) GUARANTEED me. All it appears you are doing is responding to people on this forum and placing a ticket in for us. You have not provided me with any update to my ticket so I honestly feel like I am in the same spot i was in before posting here with a simple false sense of security that something is being done. This isn't even the official support location for the bitinstant website. Why am I on this forum and using the bitinstant support / calling does absolutely nothing.

Can you please provide me with more details and the status of my ticket, and answer the question on whether or not you will be providing us the amount of coins owed to us based on the price when we placed the order as opposed to apologizing.

That isn't an answer to the question. That is simply a misdirection statement where you are basically telling me no, we are not going to be honoring the GUARANTEE we made, in a week from now when we finally resolve your issue you will need to submit another ticket and wait another week to be told that we won't be honoring these funds. Which if bitcoins continue to grow at its current rate will warrant a lawsuit.

Pretty much lol.. its been a week for me and all I get every day is "we are looking into your issue, please be patient"

Absolutely no updates and absolutely no progress.

bitinstant has lost a customer once this issue is finally resolved. Their process for handling this is just awful.

I was added to the support list for yesterday 4/7. I have not seen any update on the status of my ticket. Can you please provide me one. Outside of you telling me I was added to the list there has been 0 contact from bitinstant. Also you need to remove the words guaranteed from your website. This is anything but guaranteed as it does not sound like your company is honoring the quoted price, because of this I along with many others have lost what could become a very large amount of money.

Thank you for addressing my issue. Can you give me some clarification on what being on the support list means, when will our issue be resolved, and will we be refunded the value of the coins we have lost? When i placed my order the price was roughly $156. It has risen almost $20 resulting in a $60 loss.
