The same question. Does not work on 1060 3Gb Ubuntu 16-18 Kernel: 4.13.16 Drivers: N 396.54 Thank you for the system information. We have successfully ran 1060 3GB and 6GB under HiveOS 0.5-76 so we are really not sure why is this happening. Probably it is somehow connected to the number of the GPUs as all reports so far are with a lot of GPUs. Please try to add -gpus 123 command-line parameter in your custom miner settings in order to use only the first three GPUs and see if this fixes the problem. Obviously this isn't a workable solution but it will help us reproduce it. I tried on your advice - nothing has changed with 3 cards. The result is the same.

Yes, it was the adapter, another one worked right out of the box!
Thanks everyone!
You can fix it. Just do what I described and it will work, too. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

The situation is that the M2 adapters often do not coincide by the contacts on MB. You need to look carefully at the contacts and see how they coincide with the contacts on the board (from the contacts there are scratches on the adapter). ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpicua.org%2Fimg%2F2017-10%2F08%2Fm7vw8fkeqt3lulf03lz2ol1fc.jpg&t=663&c=UZ5xBmBWpFbzXw) You may need to slightly move the adapter to the right or left of the key. It may be necessary to enlarge the hole for the key on the adapter M2. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpicua.org%2Fimg%2F2017-10%2F08%2F7uqihpvdahbgsgwc98wkdvcol.jpg&t=663&c=-94mAWnSfaOi7A)

As I wrote above, 7 cards will work on BIOS F6a. This is a specialized BIOS for mining. Checked by me personally. On the F5 worked only 6 cards, no more started either through M2, or through HUB 1 to 3 PCI 1x

That's all, now go to other coins. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Anyone with 470s 4gb rigs have better hashrate with this fix? Me only have a major consuption and temps ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Of course, the effect is on the whole series of POLARIS.

This is common. You can achieve this with fewer parameters. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fscreenshot.ru%2Fupload%2Fimages%2F2017%2F08%2F28%2FBETA1dbd7.jpg&t=663&c=qmJm7QZ6uhKXxQ) This is 6x480 8Gb runs stable.

With official driver, I can't start my miner on msi 570 cards. I get this error EthDcrMiner64.exe has stopped working. With beta driver, I have problems that are mentioned here before. I use windows 7. Same problems with 580 4gb cards. Msi 470 with Samsung chips are ok. The same thing but on W10 ! So I`m used driver from the topic!

2 Admir: Try to setup core voltage - power limit - temp. limit - core clock via AB, not in Claymore. If it works - try lower string in Claymore.

guy is probably a beta tester for the new radeon drivers, and he just shared that. so much paranoia here ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) And I think so. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

It works in rx480 nitro plus 8gb and in x580 nitro plus 8gb in these I have noticed that although the voltage lowered consumes 40-60w plus the rig with 6 gpu ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fl2tFvdd.jpg&t=663&c=881JcOr_CbO9Tw) What setting in AB do you use? Thanks.

I apologize in advance if this question has already been raised, but I can not find an answer.
I can not understand why claymore does not control the fans of NVIDIA cards. All the controls by the BIOS settings of the cards only.
Installed the latest drivers and claymore 9.8 - no effect.
Win 10 x64 and GTX 1070 EVGA
