My Radeon 390x get --» 501 H/s in Overclock My Radeon 480 Nitro+ get --» 375 H/s in Overclock Windows 10 64 bits and Catalist 16.12.2 Can you share the OC specs for the 480 that give you 375H/s? Is it just one card or a full x6 Rig? Thanks Bullshit!!! |

Just wondering what the performance difference between a 4GB and an 8GB is on the Radeon RX480?
I have a number of sapphire RX480 8GB and they hash around 300
I bought 1 Asus Dual X to try out also 8GB but it is crap@ 280 hash
Looking to try a 4GB RX480 from Gigabyte - any ideas ?
I have: 2 Asus RX480 4GB ------> 275-280 H/s, 2 Gigabyte RX480 4GB --> 280-285 H/s. |

Saphire rx470 8gb cards.
Here is what I do to get 28MHs+ on my MSI RX470 gaming X 4gb Hynix . (Find out what type of chip you have in the GPU - You do different processes for each) 1) In ATIwinflash save your base bios: Open atiwinflash and hit save. Save the file. 2) Strapping: Open Polaris Bios Editor and on the timing (MHz) copy the 1500 data to the three settings larger than 1500. On Samsung you will copy the 1750 timing to the larger values. Watch this video that shows you how to strap. I did the same method: https://youtu.be/OP_zSP2H6ho This will get you 23.5mhs per gpu. 2) On the MSI Afterburner I set the Memory Clock to 2000 and the Core Clock to 1150(up to about 1275) and press the check(Apply). This should get you the 28mhs. 3) Now I go to WattTool and look at the numbers for each gpu individually. In this case for gpu "0:Radeon (TM) RX 470 Graphics" look at the mV number in "R7" = 1150mV. I do not want this number less than 1000mV. This is just my preference. Look at the Voltage Offset. Whatever number you put in here it will be multiplied x 6.25 so, 20 x 6.25 = 125. 1150 - 125 = 1025mV(which is above 1000) so this one would be -20 and then click "Set" This gpu should now produce much lower watts. 4) Go to the next gpu and evaluate the number and make the changes in the Voltage Offset based upon the mV number in "R7." It was working fine till today. I just noticed that yesterday I had around 300s/h but right now I have only around 230s/h. No idea why, becouse nothing happened, no config change, neither reboot. Hey guys! Does anyone have a problem with temperature and fan speed? Currently I have 4 GPUs in my rig and I using CL. v12.3. All my GPUs working fine, but I can see only the GPU0s temp and fan speed. Not showing or displaying the other 3. What do you think guys? Is this a bug, or my config is wrong? Probably nicehash changed ports/settings for some reason. I will check it and change ports in next update, it will be available in 2-3 days. Just noticed about a problem in linux, don't know if was already mentioned, but need to be fixed asap.
I'm getting this error continually and is filling really fast my log folder in /var/log/kern.log specially, also some in syslog
Fixed, will be included in next update. At Nicehash: the SSL port is 33357 the non SSL port is 3357 The big question is: Will be the next update faster than the current 12.2b? Or just bugfix included? Thank You forward and have a great day! |

If it's this hard to read a single page of the thread you should probably just give up on mining. No more speed increase at all. |

i think there is something with this card .. why after market coolers taking so long is the power issue is the problem ? companies are afraid cards will fail or what
