Wow, thats 62 whole cents per month, assuming you run it 24/7. Give up and stop wasting the planets resources.

As for profitability, I'm really in it for curiosity more than profit. I had read that nVIDIA cards were essentially useless, and I can't afford a better rig.

What are you getting, about 6MH/s? You are using more in electricity than you will ever make and are probably shortening the lfespan of your laptop. Even if you look at the temps, mining is a large strain for shitty laptop gpus.

Problem is solved by switching from the GUIminer defaults for Slush's pool to "other" and manually entering stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333, not sure why this made a difference.

I just fixed a similar problem by switching from the GUIminer defaults for Slush's pool to "other" and manually entering stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 and now I'm hashing fine. However in your case Taoimean I think you have played with some settings as it is searching for an AMD card whn you have an Nvidia. Also not to insult you but mining on an Nvidia card is like 95% of the time not profitable, and mining on a laptop is asking for an explosion.

Thanks, but thats not it. As I said, I haven't changed anything since yesterday when it was mining fine. I did double check and everything is correct.

As I can't post in the correct section yet, I was hoping that someone could help me here. Today upon starting my computer, I get these error messages in GUI miner.
2013-05-26 12:07:03: Listener for "Default": api2.bitcoin.cz:8332 26/05/2013 12:07:03,  No JSON object could be decoded

Can anyone tell me what these actually mean and how to fix it? Nothing has changed in my computer since yesterday when it was working fine. Using a sapphire 7850 and GUIminer in Slushes pool.
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: May 26, 2013, 02:25:31 AM
geez look at all the shit flinging in here. Just from an economic standpoint it doesn't make sense for BFL to ever sell these products when the consumer can cover their costs in under a month, then start making money. If I had invented something that could push over 50GH/s (assuming it is real) why would I ever sell it for so little when the profits I make off mining would be larger and long term?

So is the wait for approval long?

Eight 7950s? Sell seven on ebay, probably the best solution.

This looks too good to be true, can anyone confirm it works?
