Yes, you are basically correct.
However, there are two points which I should mention.
1) Stacking starts only after 24 hours.
2) You should periodically bring the wallet online, at least once a month, let it fully sync and wait for a mining rewards. It's important because this coin has a maximum stacked age of 30 days.

I'm newbie, just stumble upon this coin.
And I have a question, how do I get 10% from POS? Should I put these coins in full node client and just wait for it to start stacking? Is it correct?

What do you imply by that?
Does the current developer is the scammer who took 3 btc from people and run away with it?
Does it mean that the Hexxcoin is the SCAM?
