1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I mine two different altcoins on one rig? on: January 04, 2018, 10:58:30 AM
Yes you can, just set up gpu indexes in the miner programs.

For example if you have 3 cards
1st miner  -di 012
2nd miner -di 345

Hey! I'm with a 12 card rig with 17.12.1 Driver. With fewer cards claymore can write the temperatures, but with all, no. Nor the MSI Afterburner works.
Did AMD changed their api again?

Claymore i need to monitor rigs with php, is there any example for such language, i know there is nodejs monitoring tool but wasn't able to find any php example, do you have something or can provide as an test/example ?, thanks.

It's just Json, you can write monitoring in any language that can create json queries and parse the result. Its so Easy Smiley

Edit : PHP Can do it, HTML5 can do it, and almost every programming language have abilities to interact with json.

Does anyone have negative poloniex experience here? What escalation process actually get's them to answer a ticket? Do we have any poloniex reps here?

3rd time that my ETH deposit has been delayed... Sometimes it works, sometimes you need to wait DAYS...
They never respond to tickets, even if you are a verified user with ~10k BTC trading / month.
Best : Deposited ~500ETH when had good prices on poloniex, had to wait 2 weeks till they credited it to my account. Price went down about 30%...slowest shit ever!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux) on: August 01, 2017, 05:51:46 PM
@Claymore: Thank you for your work. Can you please share with me/us your instructions about updating our rigs?

I have several RX470 and RX480 rigs, all cards are working with modded bios (only memory timing changed).

First, I updated the AMD driver to 17.7.2 (withoud DDU, I just installed the new version), then restarted the rig. Second, I ran atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5, and reboot again. I logged in, started CDM 9.8. The miner works, but I can't use WattTool to set clock and voltage parameters. What should I repair, or did I miss something during the upgrading process?

Amd wants you to use their WattMan, no 3rd party. Rollback to older driver this will be solved...

I have a rx580 4G running and I have -ethi 50 in my .bat. It was getting 28.6+Mh/s, then 1-3 days ago it started TOPPING at 28.4Mh/s. I started examining things and noticed at start up of the miner it is now saying -ethi max value is 16 after my .bat commands show in the miner. Why has the -ethi value been maxed at 16 now? A .3Mh/s doesn't sound like much but every bit helps, right?

Your hashrate might be dropped because of higher DAG

Claymore said AMD will release a new driver that solves DAG hashrate drop. This might be it?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 27, 2017, 10:06:42 PM
Hi guys.
I do believe that this is not the place, but i think this affects lot of miners, and this thread is very much alive, so i decided to post here.

In last few days I noticed that on ethpool there are quite a few miners popping in an out of existence, like they are in some kind of quantum state, with 200, 300, 500, 600 GH/s.
Just go on home page and look for few top miners. Every time they are active for few hours, then hash rate drops, and they disappear and reappear with different wallet.
They are generating sometimes 1 block every 30 minutes. Each. Pool hash rate varies from 1.7 TH/s to 3.2 TH/s and even higher. That is almost doubling of pool's strength.
I do not believe that those are genuine miners. Wa are being screwed. So, does anyone have more informations regarding this issue?

-Is ethpool hacked?
-Are some miners hacked, and they are mining to some hackers wallets?
-Maybe there is some reasonable explanation for all of this?

Once again, sorry if you think that this topic is not for this thread.

Dont worry ethpool is not hacked. Propably those big adresses are some mining services' or big mining farms. Some of them are claymore's devfee adresses. If you have a lot of money you can rent a lot of hashing power.

ETH Claymore Dual Miner works but Zcash doesn't. I have two PCs. This is R9 Fury with 16.3.2 AMD Driver. But the other with two RX480 works very well.

I think it's your port, what are your settings? Nicehash's port is 3357 not 33357 but correct me if im wrong.

Hello @Claymore,

I have problem with rx 480 and r9 nano running together. I tried driver from 16.9.2 to 17.5.2 without success.
R9 nano is not wotking with default settings, but it  give 340 H/s with -asm 0 -a 2.
When I use 15.12 driver without rx 480, it give 430 H/s.

Can you please advice in this case?

u can't mix r9 nano with rx480 in 1 rig... that's because driver not compatible in claymore software.... u can mix r9 nano only with 390 or 390x.

You can mix with 17.1.1 works well for me.

any idea on the best pool to mine zec that is very profitable?

currently i use minergate pool, but it seems i only get penny after a block is found within 3-4 days of mining despite zec calculator says my little hashrate of 165h/s give $1 a day but on minergate i get only penny in 3-4 days.

flypool is good for me

thank you, will try it out

please can you tell me the best server to use on flypool?

           Asia                                   China                            Europe                           US
Server   asia1-zcash.flypool.org   cn1-zcash.flypool.org            eu1-zcash.flypool.org   us1-zcash.flypool.org

I use the EU one because it is my region, but it does not matter. Select the one closest to your region.

Claymore have the same jsonrpc protocol for remote monitoring/controlling, default port is 3333.

You can check it with EthMan, or you can write your own as jsonrpc is well documented. (as i did).
After my miner monitor will be stable i'll release it with a minersit hardware based that can monitor/restart your pc like simple rig resetter but with more features.

Hey guys. I have two identical R9 390x. The problem is when i start the miner the 2nd card hashrate starts to drop slowly and after 10-15 minutes of running it's 100sols less than the first gpu.

Any ideas?

Hey guys!
I'm just wondering how big PSU recommended for 6x 390 rig (little OC maybe)? 1800-2000W?
I want to run custom bios and achieve 400+ sol / card

i'm running the r9 fury with 250 watts a piece for 470 hashes each.

If you're buying brand new get RX480 and you can get away with a 1000/1200 watts PSU running 7 for the same hashrate (330*7 rx=2410 ....  400*6 R9= 2400). I think the 390x will run at around 225 a piece so you may need at a minimum 1600 watts and be careful with the 15 amps breaker. Even if the the breaker is 20 amps be careful with the wires on the wall as they may melt.

price wise you will have a better deal with with rx480 ($1400 versus $2400) for the same end result. If you wait another month for the rx580 release they will be even cheaper.

Remember mining is foremost about economics.

Thanks. I can get the cards way cheaper than in shops. $190 each 390 Smiley
But my next rig will be 480's Smiley
