About Coinexchange, AFAIK, they say that will allow people to recover their coins After May 18th (and not Until)

Just to be on the safe side, make sure that you're not using Coinexchange password on any other services

Sure, i see no problem on that.

* Sapphire nor Lynx use the wallet.dat. They both interact with the daemon (the real wallet) and the daemon uses the wallet.dat

So lets say you download lynx, and download the daemon trough lynx.
Then start the daemon trough lynx, the daemon creates the wallet.dat file.

Later on you download sapphire, then start sapphire.

Sapphire automatically detects if there is a daemon present, since you already downloaded the daemon trough lynx it will start that same daemon.
And the daemon will load the wallet.dat file that was created earlier

That's why you can use sapphire and lynx at the same time, even have them running at the same time.
as long as the daemon is new enough that sapphire can actually interact with it

Anyway, just be sure to have several copy in safe places of your wallet.dat "justincase" something sometime goes wrong
(Never hurts to remind that)

Those "abandoned" websites has nothing to do with Griffith or ECC team.
Actually, if you see well, that's the same template on all websites, but only the first one seems an old attempt of someone to make an ECC website. (Or just get visitors to the website it is redirecting: binarywatchdog.org)

Domain was registered 254 Days ago (as per registration info. Identity is hide, however), so it was in June last year, during that peak we had.

Well, if that is happening you must add to conf file another line: forceupgradewallet=1  (That command will not work anymore on next wallets, but you still can use it on this one)

After all is well, put everything to =0 or delete those lines

It's not a matter of not reading... Trust me - I do read a lot, but as you imagine is not easy to keep up with quite a few (?) coins... Slacks, Bitcointalk, Telegram groups, Discords and so on... Each Day has only 24 hours and (sometimes) we have a life outside the screens too. 

Most of my doubts are solved without the need to ask, but this one i was not finding the answer easely, because i missed the name of the file (ufocoin.conf)
Already had that code you added above and all the nodes from coinex, but the problem was exactly .conf name (that i did not saw over the code i did copy

Conf file (to add nodes) must have name ufo.conf or ufo-qt.conf? Wallet did not create any conf file, so i'm not sure. Added nodes but getting just 2 connections...
Can someone share a conf file that is working well?

Will let here a simple tutorial on how i do it (for windows)

• Go to ecc.network

• Download wallet - Install it

• Download correct daemon for your OS (from inside the wallet)

• Start daemon and few seconds later, stop it.

• Open Windows explorer and type %APPDATA% - press enter - that will lead you to Roaming folder

• Open ECCoin folder

• Put a copy of your old wallet.dat there (overwrite the one you have in folder)

• Start daemon and wait till it is fully synced. Depending on many variables can be from few hours to two days

For security reasons there is no possibility for bootstrap - it must be synced from 0
Join Slack. You will get plenty of help there (in website you have link)
 

I mean copy the actual one to other location "just in case", and try that old one in place of current one.

The rescan=1 i added in conf file. After everything ok, i did delete that line. BUT... That was with other coin's wallet. Not sure if it works with ESP too

You have previous copy from wallet.dat?
If so, before trying, just to be safe copy the actual one to other location and give it a try

Not sure if this wallet accept rescan=1 in conf file? On other wallets it solved several times my issues wit wrong balance...

Well, little update on my wallet situation.
As i did had only one connection, i did added the list of addnodes i got from Coinexchange (a lot of them) but after quite a considerable amount of time, it shows 3 connections and "Client Status: Not connected"
My Sync Status is at 88.80%, pretty much where it was before.
Anything i must do to make it work?
Anyone that has it working well can share his conf file?

It is 100% POS, and now it haves 0 inflation
Lot of work is being done and ECC will have great features

You have 10 active connections? I think it was supposed to have 8 max when syncing... Well, one thing you can do to speed the process is stop daemon and start it again. I think sometimes it "stuck" in a slower node (or something like that. I suppose Griffith will have that solved maybe on next update).
After all headers are synced, it will speed up a lot.
Do you have HDD or SSD?
I have SSD and didnt took so long... Less than a day from 0

Didn't saw that also... Have any printscreens from that?
