I was on the 4/8 list and would appreciate a status update.  I sent a PM like requested by URSAY but didn't get a response.  Please update me/acknowledge that my case is being attended to.

I would just like to provide a perspective on Bitinstant from personal experience.  A friend of mine knows one of the main Bitinstant guys and worked with him about a year and a half ago when traffic was picking up originally.  He went down to Chile and spent time working on the website.  It is a completely legitimate company.  URSAY is just an employee for this company which has been hit by sudden and insane demand for Bit coins, he's not working for a Ponze Scheme as some people have suggested.  I can tell he is doing his best to keep up with the system he was given, and it's probably very frustrating for him.  I know it's frustrating for considering that people's hard earned money is being managed.  I also have a considerable amount of money in the mix.  I just hope this is reassuring as a first person account of the company, and that if people have patience things will be taken care of.

I am responding to a question from URSAY about a GOX coupon.  I was on the 4/8 list.

Here is what I got from them after I explained that I provided Bitinstant with the MTgox account number instead of the exchange number.

Mt.Gox Support, Apr 09 01:11 (JST):

Hello
The number is the message that you should put while depositing to your Mt.Gox account directly through other methods that is not Bitinstant whereas Bitinstant uses only the number ######. However, they should be able to give you a redeemable code for this. Mt.Gox is only the recipient and we do not process deposits from Bitinstant. You have to contact Bitinstant at support@bitinstant.com or at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=128314.2760;topicseen to retrieve your funds from them. Thank you for your kind understanding.

I am not sure about any coupon and have not seen one to redeem.  I am trying to get my funds back from Bitinstant, however this may be done.  

Please let me know if I need to provide more info than this, or what I could do to ease the process.

Gox code sent.  Let me know if that works.  Cheesy


This is what I get from Mt. Gox: "This code cannot be redeemed (non existing or already used)."

My confirmation email from Bitinstant from my direct deposit stated: We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order.  

From me, just a reminder that I sent my account number instead of my exhange number for this order, hene original problem.

Here is my problem as verified by MtGox customer service.

I accidentally sent Bitinstant my MtGox account number* instead of my exchange number for a deposit.  I have been informed by MtGox that Bitinstant can provide a redeemable code to regain my funds.  Here is my order information:
