3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: March 29, 2017, 10:32:27 AM
God is actually a name for aliens, we have missinterpreted it all these years

You can see every religion says the gods came from the stars, even the bible Smiley

And my hypotesis is that they came, they saw a smart species [apes] and they implemented a missing gene in them to make them evolve, to make us

I guess you don't actually believe in the existence of just one supreme being called God. But even if you don't, its ridiculous to conclude that God is another name for aliens, if you do believe in the existence of aliens, then you should also believe that God truly exist.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people believe in religion? on: March 28, 2017, 03:41:08 PM
There are many unconscious reasons people believe in religious faiths. While many people find comfort and joy in their religious practices because of their moral teachings there are other reasons they're drawn to their faith as well. For many people faith was a part of their upbringing and they want to continue their families traditions. Faith plays an important role in our culture and reason has been part of the human race from time immemorial and it will continue to be part of us.

I believe the best and easiest way to learn a new language will be to move to the region and find a teacher . but other methods such as buying tapes and cds or books wont be bad. Personally I learn from people that know how to speak the language.
7  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase added a fees now on: March 28, 2017, 02:22:28 PM
I got this from coinbase support:

Using our wallet services to receive and store digital currency is free.

Your conversion rate for buying or selling digital currency through our Conversion Service is calculated as the market rate of the digital currency on Coinbase’s GDAX platform, plus a spread of up to 50 basis points. The final rate will be quoted to you before you complete your transaction.

We charge fees to use the Conversion Service, which vary based on your location and payment method. In some cases we may charge a fee on transfers to and from your bank account. We will always notify you of the service fee that applies to your transaction, both at the time of the transaction and in each receipt we issue to you.

obviously you can receive bitcoin for free. So my advice will be to store enough bitcoin before trying to transfer or spend. That's the only way not to feel the impact of the fees.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do miners really think destroying Bitcoin will make them rich? on: March 28, 2017, 01:38:49 PM
If you look at the way things are going now, you might realize that miners have lost the plot. They are sabotaging the whole Bitcoin experiment, because they want to make more profit and if they cannot do this, they will attack the minority chain to achieve their goal.

Satoshi had hoped that this will never happen, but it is happening now. Miners are willing to kill the cow to feed them now, even if the cow is providing milk on a daily basis.

What is Bitcoin without people using it?
What is Bitcoin without trust? < If people stop trusting that miners will act in good faith to keep the cow alive >
What is Bitcoin without security? < 51% attacks provide no security >
What is Bitcoin with no value?

Some of these miners should realize that the "milking" of Bitcoin users will stop, once they have killed the cow. We should act in the best interest of this technology and reduce the hold they have over us.

~ Pay less fees < Just be patient > They are getting $350 000 daily in higher tx fees according to Trace Mayer.
~ Fire up the old miners and host nodes to have a say
~ Ask developers to change the code to keep them honest or to remove the hold they have over the Bitcoin users.

Let's change our mindset and show these miners who makes up Bitcoin. ^grrrrrrr^

Bitcoin miners help keep the Bitcoin network secure by approving transactions. Mining is an important and integral part of Bitcoin that ensures fairness while keeping the Bitcoin network stable, safe and secure. I dont really think bitcoin miners will deliberately want to sabotage the bitcoin technology, even if some of their actions puts bitcoin in a risk, I believe in the sustainability of bitcoin.
9  Other / Meta / Am new here and need help on: March 28, 2017, 01:12:46 PM
Am new here and though have very good knowledge of what bitcoin is all about and how to buy, sell, mine or get free bitcoin, what I don't really understand is how this forum works. Though tried reading some post but still confused especially with the ranking system here. Hope someone can explain it better to me.
