Defo using the gpu according to TechPowerUp GPU - when its not running GPU load is 0% or 1%, with cuda running its 100%

Interesting you have the same GPU as me!

Can I ask a question - is your GPU Usage actually increasing?

My problem at the moment is cudaminer is using my CPU instead of my GPU  Embarrassed

Not sure for defo! When I tried CPU mining was getting approx 5k hashes per core, on cuda I'm getting 40 reported... Will try and check properly tonight... Doesn't help that I got a second card in there do gotta make sure I'm using the right device!

Sounds silly but are the date and time right?

You could always try copying the chain from your working machine to the non working one and see if it accepts that ok

Btw anyone else used Cudaminer for nvida cards? Going to look to test on a pair of quatros next and see what that can get me...

Hi, yes it is solo mining, this is more of a test to make sure my configuration is correct before I introduce a couple of rigs into the mix, more learning/tweaking settings first... And see how I go...

So all apears well? (just not lucky enough to have mined anything yet)?

Been mining on bitcoin but given how hard it's getting thougt I'd change to litecoin, but couldn't find a miner for nvidia cards until now!!!

Is it actually mining and returing values to the litecoin world? i've left it running for hours but see no different to what i see above - no acknowledge message to say block received, block stale etc...

Hello,

I'm looking to reply back to a particular thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.40) as I've started using the cudaminer software and want to provide feedback to cbuchner1, specifically and only about cudaminder!

I've created a post in the newbie area, but kinda feel more then anything i'm spamming in that forum for no reason other to get the minimum posts etc.

Are you able to allow me to reply/post only to that thread, and also delete my thread in the newbie area (its not really of any use to anyone without the main thread!) and i doubt cbuchner1 will be looking in the newbie thread for a post on his work!

I await a reply/response!

But as i just registered, i cant!

So not sure if anyone on that thread will be looking on this thread but, these are my results:

Wanted to comment for few things,

1) max mining for litecoin is there on the GTX 260 - Thank you cbuchner1for the software to mine litecoin on nvidia! - i'd donate you a ltc but i dont have any yet to give!
2) am i correct in thinking that this is now "mining" for litecoin?
3) although 27x3 is the default, i've restarted a couple of times, and the first time the config was different  (cant remember what), but after the first time, its always been 27x3
4) Is it possible to not tell me the hash rate - ie not give me an update on its current hash? instead just tell me when its completed a block? (easier to keep track once its setup and running!) or is there a flag already for this?
5) Can i only use 1 thread? if i do multiple (ie -t 2) or more the program crash's out..

then im back on the command line... (note that the config for the first thread is 0x0?
