Hello, I was wondering if investing in facebook libra when it comes out would not be a great idea for a quick profit. What do you think ?
First, you cannot invest in a stablecoin. A stablecoin has a stable value so even if you hodl that investment of yours for 10 decades, its value will not increase. Second, Libra is not yet a project or a coin that will be launched soon. It will take a lot more time. Third, if you are not going to use it as a currency, it is not worth anything. |

I remembered this project through the signatures being worn around this forum. I tried looking for it in coinmarketcap but still I cannot see the coin being listed there. How is your volume and exchanges? There is a lot of news coming out about temtum currently on their telegram group - they are targeting a national currency and an announcement will be made about this shortly I don't know of another project which hasn't raised a penny from the community to build the project, just gone out and built it and now opened it up to the community Well, honestly, that wowed me! Might be dropping by on your official site as well as Telegram channel to know a few more updates. By the way, are you PoS or PoW? Neither ! That’s the best bit - it’s a totally new and bespoke blockchain architecture and consensus method The consensus method uses quantum entanglement to generate a fandoms number that’s truly random and uses nearly no energy ! I recommend reading the white paper for a greater description of the tech ! Might invest some time and effort for it. But, frankly, The reason why I am asking is not so much of the technology as to the possible opportunity to earn from it. I think your project is so young yet so promising that it might be wise to invest on it while the price is still affordable. |

The dollar connection with Cryptocurrency should now be broken. I think let's calculate Bitcoin value in gold. Because we have made a more memorable and real comparison. Bitcoin opened the door of a new economic model. Let's not compare with classic vehicles anymore.
And how is the value of gold measured and valued? In US Dollar and other fiat currencies also. For now, it is hard to let go of the connection because fiat still rules the monetary world. But we will of course get away with it in due time. Indeed. Pretty much everything is still dependent on fiat despite claims saying that it's already dying. We can't really abolish the cryptocurrency-USD relationship just yet because of how unsuitable for commerce bitcoin and most of today's cryptocurrencies are. Hopefully in the near future this will change. I know everyone's eager to see cryotocurrency winning this race at the end of the line. But the race has just started and it will probably take more than a lifetime. The winner might be known during the time of our children or our grandchildren. For now, even the fiat currency is transforming into more or less like Bitcoin. They are now embarking on a mission to shift into a digital currency. With this, I'm afraid it will last more than its old physical form. They are riding the call of the times. |

DASH is predicted to be close to $1100 by the end of 2020. Predicting a long-term future for Dash coin, the price may reach $5000 in the next five years. Several crypto experts assume that the dash coin price will rise high in the upcoming months. What's your take on this? No doubt that DASH is a good coin. It is one of the few solid altcoins. However, I think Dash will have a hard time $1100 by the end of 2020. If the bull run will not falter, it could go up to that point. But we never know how long this bull run will last. As to how much DASH will be in the next 5 years, it is hard to tell. But $5,000 is too high. |

For me the most valuable viola will definitely be Ethereum, but I would also like to mention Litecoin, who I've been very happy with lately.
Ethereum and Litecoin are two of the most trusted altcoins. I will always be having both of them in my portfolio. I'm gonna HODL ETH until it reaches $1,400 once again and LTC until it reaches $500. Or even beyond. |

You cannot bring back the golden times of bounties because the projects are already losing quality and legitimacy themselves. And when the projects are shit projects, there will be no more investors. And when there are no more investors, the value of their tokens will also be zero. And that is what we are going to receive as payment for bounties, also zero.

I already opened a similar thread in the Altcoin discussion section, but the debate went into the wrong direction so i'm opening again.
What do you expect when you are holding a certain altcoin? (with this I mean different token holder events, not staking)
what is your general opinion on a project offering rewards for simply holding their token with a goal of increasing token holders?
Of course rewards are paid regularly.

When I hodl a certain token, that means I believe in it. I am hodling it because I know that over time it accumulates value. While the development of the team is busy building their product to perfection, talking to potential partners and investors, accomplishing their road map, and so on, I will keep my tokens with me. Being rewarded with tokens because of this will be bonus. And it sure attracts more hodlers. |

No one would debate the value of Gold and its bright future. We don't have to actually listen to anyone to realize that. But Jim Rickards will have to listed to Bitcoin experts to realize that it is better to have a diversified investment portfolio.
You're missing the point, what Jim Rickard's saying is that it's better to buy gold now that it is relatively cheaper instead of rushing in when it's no longer available for the common joe. Gold is a good investment that you can't go wrong with because of it's constant uptrend. It's not bad to make a diversified portfolio but it's best that you include gold in your investment because of it's high profitability. Basically insuring yourself of the future. It is always best to diversify our investment portfolio. That would of course include gold. In fact, gold is much better than so many other investments. Its value has been with it since the very old days. Nobody is arguing that and we don't have to be told about it. Everybody knows how gold is always in demand. |

Will 2020 be the year Ethereum asserts it's dominance in the Altcoin space or are one of the contenders poised to take the Altcoin crown?
Because only pick one maybe i pick Ethereum because my big portion of investment is in bitcoin and ethereum. With that i not see or make deep research about other coins and after vote, see most people pick on ethereum i more convinced to hold it. Yes I agree, I will also choose Ethereum over other Altcoins, because I think Ethereum will remain the king of Altcoin, Ethereum always has a high volume on every Exchange and it proves that Ethereum has a strong community and Team. So in 2020 Ethereum will remain the top performing Altcoin. In terms of development, Ethereum is very good and deserves to be the king of Altcoin, but if the price is not affected, this will make Ethereum disliked by investors, Ethereum has not shown a price increase performance, hopefully this 2020 Ethereum prices can rise I think you are right, Ethereum is good coin but now still look stable in that price. I only hold 2 ETH, only small amount but i have big hope for it mayeb for ETH 2.0 although i am not aim to stake when i heard there are minimum balance to stake, but i hope it can pumped by hype. The minimum is 32 if I am not mistaken. You will need an additional 30 ETH for you to be able to meet the minimum requirement for the staking. No, don't hope that it will pump due to hype. If the pump is only due to hype, it will easily get back to the bottom. Let us hope that the development of ETH is so good that it will really arouse interest in the people. As you mentioned, you need 30+ Ethereum to start staking according to current information. This alone will probably have more people buying up Eth to try and hit that minimum threshold to start staking. People will more than likely not be selling those coins either since they're profiting off of them. I'm sure hype will play a little factor in the rise in price, but there is also enough reason to buy and hold the ETH long term. This staking alone will certainly cause a massive buying for ETH. And this is reason enough for its price to rise. Whales will not just settle for the minimum. They will be staking big time. |

Increase in transaction does not automatically mean a lot of people are buying Bitcoin. It could only mean a lot of people are using Bitcoin in paying for what they buy. In this case, it does not really mean an increase in price but increase in adoption. |

The price will reach only upto $19. CryptoGround, however, believes that BNB will decrease down to $6.4202. Do you agree? Agree on which one? They have different views and that is always the case. Sudden market movements these past few days have been somewhat bullish, I know we've got the whole halving thing in view, but are we really moving out of the bear market? If so can I buy or just short this b*tch. If the latter, what's your call price?
not a bull run and not a bull trap as well,it is a normal market movement and investors are showing their support in the upcoming halving of Bitcoin Miners that is why the value is slightly moving up but not necessarily mean it has something to do with both,we will see the true meaning when everything is done after May this year and may gives us all the chance to make profit,or losses. I think it's definitely not a bull's trap on the market right now, but so far there's no bull running, I hope the market will start running with time.
absolutely not a Bulltrap right?because we are staying strong in $8k level value that not happen last year staying on that high while dumping always follow the Run in prices. I also believe this is not at all a bull trap. This is something that we normally see in the price movements of Bitcoin. There is no special movement that we consider a bait or a trap before entering into a bullish or bearish season. Right now we are only jumping up and down on $8,500. |

If a random country is in debt, is printing money a good way to pay it off at the expense of the citizens?
For example, lets say you owe an entity $100. If you print an extra $100 bill you pay off your debt, but unbeknownst to the entity the $100 that they lent you is now worth less.
Would the barter system be a good way of combating this?
That is already happening right now but that printing of questionable extra bills are exclusively done by the governments and their banking cohorts. It is not done for the sake of the people who don't have enough to even pay their personal debts and basic needs. |
