1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: April 22, 2017, 04:05:38 PM
I transfered my btc to the transition account after i linked with my byteball, will it know the balance of my account or do i need to relink or update a balance somehow? This will be my first round and hopefully not my last. Also, I have tried the latest version of the byteball client for windows 64bit, but am still having problems syncing with the DAG, I am pretty sure the first time I installed a client, the DAG was able to download and sync up 100%, but since hasn't been able to. I have tried researching a little, but I am also in transitioning in life with moving and having a couple new babies in the house so haven't had much time lately to be at the parents house where my rigs and internet is. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / someone please help with fresh install of linux 64bit and gpu drivers! on: March 04, 2017, 10:07:06 AM
First of all, OPs, sorry if this is in wrong section, move if needed...

I have been trying for 2 days now to install my gpu drivers for ubuntu 16.10, resulting in at least 10 format/reinstall and im starting to get really annoyed with all the different suggestions online about setting it up. This is my last resort before i either go back to windows or i try a lower version of the linux platform due to my cards not having updated drivers on the current version.

I have 2x ati r9 290x/390x gpus and 1x nvidia gtx 680 that i am trying to get working. Not sure if having 2 different brands in one machine is going to cause a problem afterwards, but as of right now i cannot get the right software+configuration to get my cards noticeable by any of the miners i have.

If someone on here uses ubuntu 16.10 and a similar card and has successfully installed the drivers, please help me out or recommend a different version os and drivers so i can stop spending my days reading and failing miserably, id appreciate it, thanks.

questions about the witnessing...

after building and running it in a container, what is required by the witness in order to start witnessing txs and gaining clients trust? Is it automated once you have the container running, for the most part?

I think the post creator should hand the payments out to the newbies! Otherwise he should have edited the original post and stated the rule there because now he has gained 100s of newbie clients on his new site because he misled people. OPs do you think this is fair?

would have been nice if you could have specified that this offer wasnt for newbie members! Thats not right to wait for 50 new newbie member signups first before specifying
