1  Economy / Services / Hiring FSM Minister and wedding photographer for hippie festival (San Diego) on: July 18, 2017, 01:25:13 AM
Please read the ENTIRE ad before replying/ PM’ing.  ESPECIALLY the photographer requirements.

We are getting married at the San Diego Youtopia festival this year http://sdyoutopia.com/ Oct 19-22 (On the 19th) It is a tent camping burner festival.
FSM Minister: A certificate of Ordination and wallet card can be obtained here for $40 which I will of course pay: https://venganza.org/ordination/  You must have festival appropriate attire of some sort, and of course, a colander for your head as a Pastafarian Minister.  Would prefer a male FSM minister. We will have vegetarian food, water, and libations at our camp, but you can bring anything else that you want. Don’t be a meat antagonizing dick though. It’s my wedding for fuck’s sake. Was thinking $300? Plus a festival ticket, but willing to negotiate.

Photographer:
This is a CONSENT ONLY photography event. That means you CAN NOT take pictures of other people without asking or you will be booted from the party. It is a burner event. This means you can’t just take pictures of people all day/ night long, even if they are walking on stilts, dancing, breathing or twirling fire, doing aerial circus arts, or anything else cool. You can’t hide in a bush like a creep and pretend no one sees you while you film the world. You can take pictures of art displays or lighting effects, but NO PEOPLE WITHOUT ASKING. YOU WILL BE CONFRONTED AND ASKED TO LEAVE.
If you think you can do that, because I know it is hard for photographers, I need a wedding photographer to take pics at approximately sunset of the ceremony, (We are just going to post up in front of the temple and do vows for like 10 min) and then follow My husband and me, and the few family members willing to show up to the festival around for a while that night and take pictures of us partying while being sensitive to the other participants and leaving them out of the photos.

Eccentric need #2: I don’t want these pictures stored in a “cloud”. Ever. I need someone sensitive to that that can just store them on a SD card or something. I will be buying prints and all that, but I try hard to keep images of me off the internet. Let me know what you charge, as I know it varies a lot. You also get a festival ticket. Same as above about the food.

BOTH: Need to be nice around fat, gay, stinky, hairy, or any other kind of hippies at the festival. Just saying. If you have hang ups about naked dudes or anything like that, then don’t apply. That being said, this really is our FAVORITE festival, and it is a one of a kind experience!

Oh. Can pay in bitcoin or cash. I couldn’t find a cellphone signal anywhere at the event, including the parking lot last year, so to get bitcoin you will have to stay the whole event and then follow me out to the nearest gas station or something.

Please read about burner events if you have no experience. No glass, take all trash with you, etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought only females can be Calico?

"Because genetic determination of some coat colors in cats is linked to the X chromosome, calicoes are nearly always female.[2][4] Because of the genetics involved, calico males are rare, and generally have impaired vitality and are almost always sterile."

You are thinking of tortoise shell. Tortoise shells are always XXY.

There seems to be an abundance of male calicos in non-kitten form...

No one here is a coon breeder and the price may be over 1000 for what your after, maybe contact breeders rather than nerds? Just saying, I used broker deals in Australia for rare breed dogs, first step is to source the product, this is at best a middle middle middle man

I was going to contact breeders next. I just thought, you never know, maybe someone here has an aunt/ cousin/ best friend from high school or something that breeds them. If you don't ask, you never know Smiley

yeah just get a cat out of a paper?

or did you want a paper/ purebreed?

It doesn't have to have papers, but it needs to have the potential to get very large. So if the parents were pretty big I would go for that.

Thanks! I will ask for some pictures of the parents.
5  Economy / Goods / WTB Maine coon kitten on: March 28, 2015, 02:23:23 PM
Ok, maybe this is a long shot, but I thought I'd at least try here first. My fiancee and I want to buy a Maine Coon kitten. It MUST be a male and we would REALLY like it to be calico, which I realize is less common, but we are possibly open to any color except orange. (My last kitty of 20 years that I got when I was 10 was orange and I am just not ready for that.)

I also realize that this may involve being on a waiting list of sorts and am willing to do that too.

I am willing to get one sent by delta dash or other air service or I can drive from Los angeles to San Diego to Las Vegas (god forbid for the cat) to Phoenix or thereabouts.

Hit me up if you know any breeders that would take bitcoin before I take the search elsewhere.

P.S. the cat  would be a purely indoor cat and would have access to air conditioning.

Edit: Oh, and I was imagining the kitten wouldn't be more than $850, but I suppose if you could show me that I am dreaming at that price I could move on that. Most sites I have seen don't list prices.

Not being a programmer-type person, I'm a little concerned that the website shows up as a separate running application in task manager. What else could the application be doing? Maybe I'm just stupid but it doesn't seem normal.
Doesn't show it with me, and I have the website open in both firefox + Chrome atm, and it just shows it as chrome///firefox.

I'm using firefox. I'd open it again and take a screenshot but then I'd have to open it again.

I suppose I had the odd thought that since the level 2 pay to play option still isn't active, maybe there was something more nefarious going on. I'd like to be wrong about that though:)

Can someone else who has purchased these cards check their balance and post please? It seemed like people were giving them as gifts a lot when they first came out, which would make theft extremely tragic.
9  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: www.cryptowalletcards.com scammer??? on: January 03, 2015, 10:15:20 PM
Not sure if that site is the culprit, but yup all your bitcoin on your 2 addresses are gone.

Have you imported your private key in any wallet in an online device?
Have you shown your private key to any persons including your friends and family?

No. and No. I have never removed the tamper seal from the backs of any of the cards even. I thought (stupidly) it would be fine to trust these cards since the guy had been around at least a year selling them when  I bought them. I would like other people to know before anyone else buys any.

I was looking at the balance today because I was going to send some more money to the cards. I always check the balance before adding.

Just adding if I am wrong, then PLEASE someone call me a dumbass....
11  Economy / Service Discussion / www.cryptowalletcards.com scammer??? on: January 03, 2015, 02:47:39 PM
After all this time, I looked at the balances of a few cards I had (thank god I didn't have too much on them, although it still hurts) and it looks like my balances and many others were drained 1/2/2015 at 06:34am to address 1JizJaPrew9VNUThuRS28VUmwT4h5wney4 then ultimately to address 1F9paPexLwU6sV22HwGxsXnnC9p1ih8X88 to the tune of 230 bitcoins total. I am so sad.......

Someone please confirm I am right. Here were my addresses:

12  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Un-Taxed Items. on: September 16, 2014, 04:22:56 AM
I'm looking to buy anything that is illegally not taxed and cheaper than I can buy them in stores.

Eg. Food, E-cigs, alcohol ect.

Wouldn't we need to know your approximate location to find out if we could get items to you cheaper than in stores??? Local prices of items and shipping varies greatly by location.

Edit: Note: I am an avid couponer and having someone to offload excess items to may feed my addiction.

LIES! This is the best game ever made.

I was just going to say, I SWEAR I remember reading about this game in EGM when I was a teenager. The review said something to the tune of "The only change in scenery is halfway through, when a single bug splats on the windshield".

I wanted that game so bad. Angry I didn't have a Sega CD though. (I think that's what it was on anyway.)
14  Economy / Goods / Re: WTT: DO YOU NEED ANYTHING FROM ECUADOR? I CAN FIND IT! on: July 09, 2013, 03:23:01 AM
I think I just found my new protest mask Grin
I realize each one is unique........but I don't think I could commit to a mask I haven't seen. If you end up getting a bunch, could you maybe take a picture of all of them lined up and let people pick?

15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Alaska? Anyone? on: June 15, 2011, 03:22:22 AM
Is anyone else here living in Alaska? I sometimes think I'm the only Bitcoiner in the state.  Sad

Anyone else? Anyone?  Bueler?

If you can convince me (and my boyfriend)why it is better than New Hampshire (my choice)or Colorado (his choice), I might move there.....(Currently the top 2 choices, I live in CA now)
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Please, stop having children. (Discussion about overpopulation) on: June 15, 2011, 03:08:57 AM
I am only reminded of the intro to the movie "Idiocracy". If I don't breed, 2 dozen hillbillies will outbreed me and then where will the world be?? I have to breed just to make sure we don't go extinct!!!

... I agree though, we should all grow patio gardens. the food would actually have nutritional value and not be 90% corn by-products.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does anyone else drag through the day and then come alive at night? on: June 15, 2011, 03:01:26 AM
Screw you guys. I operate best if I shock awake (via loud alarm clock) at 4 or 5 am and get sleepy around 11pm or so no matter how hard I try to stay awake. Hell I could be completely stimmed out and fall asleep at 2am.....totally jealous:(
18  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitucopia.com: Grass-fed beef and poultry on: June 15, 2011, 02:50:39 AM

What is the ratio for grains vs the other stuff in their diet?

I've been looking for eggs from this type of chicken. But I want some where >= half their diet is from insects and other random crap they find on the pasture as opposed to grain feed.

Where do you live?(general area, not specific)
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help please new wallet not connecting? on: June 13, 2011, 09:02:41 PM
I think it would be best to wait until the blockchain download is completed. The blockchain is at 130576 right now. You need to be connected for this to happen obviously. What is your connection count in your client reporting and is your block count incrementing?

0 connections, which has been the problem all along. When I reinstalled bitcoin yesterday, it then connected and downloaded up to the current then block count, and then has yet to connect again.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help please new wallet not connecting? on: June 13, 2011, 06:28:02 PM
Close the client and use the two commands I posted in this thread

I just did that and something freaky happened. The outgoing transaction with 0 confirmations just disappeared and the BTC that was already debited went back into my total...? I've seen a 0 confirmation sit there for days but never go back into the wallet total.

There is no firewall on right now.

There is only one copy of bitcoin running.

If I send it again, is there a chance it will be sent twice now or not since the money went back into the wallet?

There are 129744 blocks showing on the laptop.
