1  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Spondoolies SP30's - good for mining? on: March 10, 2017, 08:40:41 PM
Thank you both so much for your help.  I figured out that I would pay .27cents /kWH ... making the miner cost nearly $583 per month to mine ... I did a profit calculator on bitcoin and I would make about $100/month in bitcoin.  Really glad you helped me see that!
Thanks!
2  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Spondoolies SP30's - good for mining? on: March 10, 2017, 06:11:17 PM
Im new to BitCoin Mining.  I have the opportunity to start ... on eBay there are 6 - Spondoolies SP30's for sale in the US, I'm from Australia .. I can get them for $300 each .. it is a large purchase as shipping is about $2500.  Are these good units? it is mentioned that they produce 4.5 TH/s ... that seems pretty good ... can I mine BitCoins profitably with these machines? He mentioned that they are at least 2 years old .. so I don't want to be caught out buying junk.
Am I getting a good deal? Thanks for your help!
