Alert Stay Away
Now I know to stay far away from this project. was created by some of the worst people anyone can ever imagine. They do not care about anyone but themselves.
These type of people like to stick together as you can see sswellSVT, jimmybob, monkii, molecular man. They are all rejected and banned members and hop from project to project. I will run as far away as possible from these people and post here every few days to make sure at least a few people know the terrible people behind this project.
Not sure who you are, or who peed in your cornflakes, to give you such a huge bug up your behind... According to your profile here you're 47, so yes - I do expect you to know better than to throw random tantrums instead of raising any issues you may have in a civil manner - or at least back up what you're saying with something of substance if you really feel so strongly about it... Otherwise you're just another troll in the noise... I am also "behind this project" and you're painting me with the same, apparently ignorant / misinformed brush, so if you've got something of value and/or merit to discuss, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I usually keep a closer eye on the Discord, so if you're inclined to have a more civilised discussion that will be the quickest way to reach me directly. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sounds cool ocminer ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The fix was not to implement SEGWIT. It was put in, to be able to get transactions marked with segwit enabled from the mempool, during the getblocktemplate call. Nothing more than that. Our timing must have been synched at a cosmic level if it was you testing your pool solving all the issues... things only seemed to work when blocks were found by the pool we implemented the change on. Thanks for getting the pool up, it is gonna be awesome!

|
Any nodes. I'm not able to sync
|
|
|
And i'm fairly sure I've solved some blocks... but nothing in my wallet?
|
|
|
We need higher diff... it is still dropping

Poll Added. see what you guy's want.
When you say relaunch, do you mean from block 1?

Is the world moving to the stage where everyone creates his own coin? Hope, it is not a desired scenario. Nevertheless, I wish u a success in your endeavor.
I don't really mind new coins, as long as they have (or quickly get) a real raison d'etre other than just being a new coin. Otherwise it really is an indication of yet another pump-and-dump clone with nothing substantial to bring to the table.
|
|
|
Hi! I wish you the very best with your venture of resurrecting the coin. What I am not clear on, is why if you launched the coin originally in 2016 you have only made 14 posts ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Also, would it not be easier to relaunch completely with a new coin?

still no gui windows wallet?
What do you think why? Devīs laugh on you ..... They scammed all windows user. They should rename the coin to N4N (nerd for nerd). I am sad to say it - but i think PIRL is a classic scam coin. During the next days they will try to pump & dump - you will see it. https://stocks.exchange/trade/PIRL/BTC (do you see an imprint for this exchange?) It looks very scammy too. To be clear... I was able to manage the docker and linux stuff very fast. I got my address minutes after launch and was able to mine the first blocks. But Devīs lied all users regarding "windosw wallet will be ready at launch - dont worry" and they changed the payout scheme minutes before launch. In the real world somthing like this is call fraud. It was a faild coin 1 second after launch and it wont change. Of cause it is scam. Dev is liar. Coin is another pumpdump shit. Don't know how can anyone not understand that. ^ this. Dev scammed everybody at start, promised compiled wallet & things for everyone, but in fact, first thousands of blocks were mined by him and some friends. THREE HOURS after start is when win wallet became available. Yeah, because taking a few hours out of your life to get a clue on how to compile it yourself instead of being spoon fed is way too much to ask. It is a community project. If you can do a better job, get involved and help, instead of whining/trolling from the peanut gallery.

Pleasure ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Glad I could help!
|
|

I think my top tips (given to me) would be: - Make sure the supply of power is reliable and clean
- Make sure you have the cooling planned
- Make sure your network (LAN/Internet connection) is well maintained
- Find the right space: You may have a noise problem to contend with
Other than that - ask lots of questions and never stop learning ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

this need to be done to make it work in that default file Configure nginx to serve API on /api subdirectory. Configure nginx to serve www/dist as static website. Serving API using nginx Create an upstream for API: upstream api { server 127.0.0.1:8080; } and add this setting after location /: location /api { proxy_pass http://api; } can you tell me what actual setting should i have to use in the default ngnix file Sure, I can take a swing: Replace the contents of your default file with this: upstream api { server drowningpool.net:8080; }
server { listen 80 default_server; listen [::]:80 default_server; root /var/www/dist; # <- This should be the absolute path to the files index index.html index.htm index.nginx-debian.html;
server_name _;
location / { # First attempt to serve request as file, then # as directory, then fall back to displaying a 404. try_files $uri $uri/ =404; } location /api { proxy_pass http://api; } }

now no error all working thing but problem is now that http://www.drowningpool.net/don't show the pool site showing default ?? do you have nay idea what is the issue may be It is a bit tricky to debug (not known file locations and setup etc.), but generally: You are probably going to want to merge the two server sections into one. Then change this line: to point to the location of the files for the site.

hi hashtobewild i mage to solve that issue already sir .. now problem is something else in ngnix issue do you know why i am getting this issue and how to solve it ..here is code of default root@localhost:/etc/nginx/sites-available# cat /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default ## # You should look at the following URL's in order to grasp a solid understanding # of Nginx configuration files in order to fully unleash the power of Nginx. # http://wiki.nginx.org/Pitfalls # http://wiki.nginx.org/QuickStart # http://wiki.nginx.org/Configuration # # Generally, you will want to move this file somewhere, and start with a clean # file but keep this around for reference. Or just disable in sites-enabled. # # Please see /usr/share/doc/nginx-doc/examples/ for more detailed examples. ##
# Default server configuration # server { listen 80 default_server; listen [::]:80 default_server;
# SSL configuration # # listen 443 ssl default_server; # listen [::]:443 ssl default_server; # # Note: You should disable gzip for SSL traffic. # See: https://bugs.debian.org/773332 # # Read up on ssl_ciphers to ensure a secure configuration. # See: https://bugs.debian.org/765782 # # Self signed certs generated by the ssl-cert package # Don't use them in a production server! # # include snippets/snakeoil.conf;
root /var/www/html;
# Add index.php to the list if you are using PHP index index.html index.htm index.nginx-debian.html;
server_name _;
location / { # First attempt to serve request as file, then # as directory, then fall back to displaying a 404. try_files $uri $uri/ =404; }
# pass the PHP scripts to FastCGI server listening on 127.0.0.1:9000 # #location ~ \.php$ { # include snippets/fastcgi-php.conf; # # # With php7.0-cgi alone: # fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000; # # With php7.0-fpm: # fastcgi_pass unix:/run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock; #}
# deny access to .htaccess files, if Apache's document root # concurs with nginx's one # #location ~ /\.ht { # deny all; #} }
# Virtual Host configuration for example.com # # You can move that to a different file under sites-available/ and symlink that # to sites-enabled/ to enable it. # #server { # listen 80; # listen [::]:80; # # server_name example.com; # # root /var/www/example.com; # index index.html; # # location / { # try_files $uri $uri/ =404; # } #} upstream api {
server drowningpool.net:8080;
} location /api {
proxy_pass http://api;
}
That last part looks fishy... can't test it, but on a thumb-suck it should look something like this: upstream api { server drowningpool.net:8080; }
server { location /api { proxy_pass http://api; } }
You can see a fairly good example here: http://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_upstream_module.html

another new problem started . old one solved because it has wrong go path sudo service nginx reload Job for nginx.service failed because the control process exited with error code. You may want to post coin specific questions in their respective threads. it seems to work fine for me. What platform are you building on? In Ubuntu 17.04: make sure you have the dependencies installed: sudo apt-get install golang (that was all I needed, but maybe there is something else?) Pull the code: git clone https://github.com/Musicoin/go-musicoin.git Change directory to the pulled code: Issue the make command as specified in the git README: You should see something like this: build/env.sh go run build/ci.go install ./cmd/gmc >>> /usr/lib/go-1.7/bin/go install -ldflags -X main.gitCommit=8b31cac15d4b5693c2367a8d6fe5275af107aadd -v ./cmd/gmc github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/common github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/crypto/randentropy github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/crypto/sha3 github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/rlp golang.org/x/crypto/ripemd160 github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/logger/glog github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/crypto/secp256k1 github.com/hashicorp/golang-lru/simplelru github.com/hashicorp/golang-lru github.com/rcrowley/go-metrics github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/util github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/comparer github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/logger github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/params github.com/golang/snappy github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/cache github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/storage github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/filter gopkg.in/karalabe/cookiejar.v2/collections/prque github.com/pborman/uuid github.com/rjeczalik/notify github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/opt golang.org/x/crypto/pbkdf2 golang.org/x/crypto/scrypt github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/event gopkg.in/fatih/set.v0 github.com/rs/cors github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/errors github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/iterator github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/journal golang.org/x/net/context github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/memdb github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb/table github.com/rcrowley/go-metrics/exp golang.org/x/net/websocket gopkg.in/urfave/cli.v1 github.com/huin/goupnp/httpu github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/metrics github.com/huin/goupnp/scpd github.com/huin/goupnp/soap github.com/huin/goupnp/ssdp github.com/syndtr/goleveldb/leveldb github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/rpc golang.org/x/net/html/atom golang.org/x/net/html golang.org/x/text/encoding/internal/identifier golang.org/x/text/transform github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/internal/debug golang.org/x/text/encoding golang.org/x/text/encoding/internal golang.org/x/text/internal/utf8internal golang.org/x/text/encoding/charmap golang.org/x/text/encoding/japanese golang.org/x/text/encoding/korean golang.org/x/text/encoding/simplifiedchinese github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/ethdb golang.org/x/text/encoding/traditionalchinese golang.org/x/text/runes golang.org/x/text/internal/tag golang.org/x/text/language golang.org/x/text/encoding/unicode github.com/jackpal/gateway golang.org/x/tools/go/ast/astutil github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/event/filter github.com/jackpal/go-nat-pmp github.com/mattn/go-colorable github.com/mattn/go-isatty github.com/robertkrimen/otto/file github.com/robertkrimen/otto/token github.com/fatih/color github.com/robertkrimen/otto/dbg github.com/robertkrimen/otto/ast github.com/robertkrimen/otto/registry golang.org/x/tools/imports github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/internal/web3ext github.com/peterh/liner github.com/robertkrimen/otto/parser github.com/mattn/go-runewidth github.com/nsf/termbox-go github.com/gizak/termui golang.org/x/text/encoding/htmlindex golang.org/x/net/html/charset github.com/huin/goupnp github.com/robertkrimen/otto github.com/huin/goupnp/dcps/internetgateway1 github.com/huin/goupnp/dcps/internetgateway2 github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/p2p/nat github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/crypto/ecies github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/crypto github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/core/vm github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/trie github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/accounts github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/common/compiler github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/common/httpclient github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/common/registrar github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/p2p/discover github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/accounts/abi github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/p2p github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/core/types github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/core/state github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/internal/jsre github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/console github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/pow github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/accounts/abi/bind github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/node github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/whisper github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/eth/downloader github.com/ethereum/ethash github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/core github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/common/registrar/ethreg github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/eth/fetcher github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/eth/filters github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/miner github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/eth github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/release github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/cmd/utils github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/cmd/gmc Done building. I say: "why not". If you feel strongly enough that you have a good idea, whether it is original or not is irrelevant. There are countless reasons not to do something, but you only need one reason to do it. Take some time to build your knowledge then go for it. In general, I'd recommend forking your coin from one of the existing big ones rather than creating a token, but for what you've mentioned, maybe a token is 'good enough' for an intermediary coin. The advice to join another coin or two or three to learn from them is not a terrible idea either ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I tried to backup + restore my wallet from Windows to Linux...any clue why i can't restore it on Linux? I can restore it on another windows box but when I try to open it on Linux it says that there was an issue and fails. I tried multiple times Can you maybe tell us what the issue is that it has on Linux? If you could send the exact error and if possible reproduction steps, that would be very useful in trying to help you solve this.
