1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to get response on bitfinex ticket? on: July 16, 2017, 05:21:13 PM
Thank you both. Other suggestions welcome!

Bitfinex, if you're listening, support ticket #871526.
2  Economy / Exchanges / how to get response on bitfinex ticket? on: July 16, 2017, 05:00:04 AM
Hi guys,

How do I get bitfinex to respond to a ticket? I have one open for 4 weeks and one for 2 weeks, neither has been handled. Any tips for getting their attention? One ticket is pressing.

thanks.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honest comparison of IOTA vs Byteball on: June 30, 2017, 10:23:35 PM
My only concern about Byteball is the solo dev and the lack of a dev team. We seen such approach (and the results) in the case of eMunie. A team is always faster and more flexible than a solo developer. This is especially true when a project keep grooving and getting too diverse for one dev to keep an eye on everything.

^^^ Iota shill disregard anything he says^^

If you have to choose go BB of course. Although I am certainly not a fan of their distributional method either.

How does he know tonyCH is one person. Could be an entire team coding this BB out.

Both are interesting but I think there will be more DAG based tokens out soon.

Seems you might be a byteball shill. Cryptohunter is right, most commits are from Tony: https://github.com/byteball/byteballcore/commits/master
4  Economy / Exchanges / fastest exchange to get verified for BTC to USD? on: June 29, 2017, 06:04:45 PM
What's fastest exchange to get verified (for USA): Bitstamp, bitfinex, Gemini, or Tether_to? Seen a lot of support backups elsewhere (kraken, GDAX, poloniex).

Also how long does it take to get a Bitstamp verified account for BTC/USD withdrawal?
5  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase withdrawal limit on: June 20, 2017, 02:51:07 AM
Did you hear anything from coinbase about this?

I see buy/sell limits on my verifications page: https://www.coinbase.com/verifications

But don't see any stated withdrawal limits to transfer coins out.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best way to buy tether (USDT) with BTC on: June 18, 2017, 01:12:36 AM
according to coinmarketcap it seems like the most active market for tether (USDT) belongs to Ploniex although it seems like price is lower that $1 for some reason (maybe coinmarketcap's bug) and then the highest volume is for bitstamp

you can see all the markets yourself here: http://coinmarketcap.com/assets/tether/#markets

Thanks, I have looked at that page. I don't see bitstamp on that list at all. Please explain.

And I understand you can buy USDT with BTC on tether.to, also. Wondering about the exchange rate and also why they are not on that list of markets on coinMarketCap.

Thanks. I am using bittrex already but the exchange rate there from btc/eth to usdt is 3-5%, a bit steep. Just wanted to be sure there wasn't a better option. I love bittrex.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / best way to buy tether (USDT) with BTC on: June 16, 2017, 07:05:19 PM
I'm trying to find the best way to buy tether with BTC or ETH. Seems to be a 4-5% discount needed when buying on bittrex. I looked at bitfinex, which is where it's 2nd most active, and doesn't seem to be a way to trade tether.

I can't trade on poloniex because I have a RIDICULOUSLY low withdrawal limit and a support ticket open for two months to upgrade account, with no resolution. (If you're listening, poloniex, ticket #122935.)

Where should I buy tether with BTC?

thanks,
Harpo

It's very hard to cast a vote on this without knowing a lot more.

I'd like to see the budget plan explain the staff cost to reach MVP (maybe in team months and $/mo) and then how much beyond that you are planning for. Presumably you will miss the mark on some things and need some hang time. Minimum funding should account for all of that.

Also would like to see a description of MVP, what you are not including, and why you think that's the right product. Basically write-up of product strategy.

And finally, what's your sustainable competitive advantage?
