I'm running the OS X wallet just fine.  High Sierra 10.13.2.

I still haven't been able to use the Mac OS X wallet.  The site looks like it's down and there are a quite a few broken links.  Tried from this post:

Also, the announcement on page 1 of the thread should probably have updated links.
