3  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What we can do to confirm transactions faster? on: February 23, 2017, 01:27:40 PM
100k unconfirmed transactions and developers still not implemented segwit and lightning network.
Well if developers not implementing things we need for Bitcoin what can we do to confirm transations faster?

Should we run full node?
Full node helps other users to download blockchain and verify transactions but i never heard that it helps to confirm transactions faster

Should we run miner?

I am interested to run full node and miner but seems that more miners and full nodes won't help we need segwit and lightning network to be implemented faster and more nodes and miners won't help to confirm transactions faster?

SegWit IS implemented.

About the only thing you can do, practically, is run a miner that does so.  You and many other people.  The miners are the current block on SegWit adoption.

See, e.g.:
http://data.bitcoinity.org/bitcoin/block_version/5y?c=block_version&r=week&t=a

There's no info that segwit implemented

No, running full nodes wouldn't work

No, running a miner will increase the total network's hashrate, slightly reducing the average time between blocks untill the next retargetting (2016 blocks)

So, wait and pray when developers implement segwit and lightning network is the best? Cheesy
I guess i need to start learning more about bitcoin code and try to write better code implementations myself...

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Dollars And Euros Removed How We Determine The Value Of Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2017, 02:14:52 AM
Right now we determine the value of bitcoin by dollars, euros and other currencies, but if we remove all the currencies and use only Bitcoin how we can know what is the value of Bitcoin?
Do we need to use MBTC then?
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin Costs 2000$ on: February 21, 2017, 12:18:02 AM
As soon Bitcoin will reach $1999 he will ban it and China and India and Japan will be only countries with Free Bitcoin.

Why do you think so?
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If every Bitcoin user would run Bitcoin miner in home? on: February 20, 2017, 11:47:53 PM
1 miner can mine very little bitcoins, it is not worth for electricity, you should make a huge mining factory to make more profit. Mining at home is unrealistic to be rich.

Again, i already have said that i don't want to earn. I want to support Bitcoin network and i wonder do my 1 miner would help or i should leave everything to big miners.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / If every Bitcoin user would run Bitcoin miner in home? on: February 20, 2017, 11:22:30 PM
Would it help for Bitcoin network if i run 1 Bitcoin Miner?
I am thinking about supporting bitcoin network.
I know that we have businesses who runs thousands of miners, to earn money, but i don't want to earn, i want just to support Bitcoin network and i wonder do my contribution would help, or we just need leave all the work for big miners?

Last question, would 1 confirmation time - 20 minutes would be the same if every  Bitcoin user would run atleast 1 miner in home?

14  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin Costs 2000$ on: February 20, 2017, 10:37:38 PM
I can see now what you did right there in one post you asked questions and answered them yourself, yes people(miners) need to stop selling everything they're mining every day, earners, freelancers need to hold for more than a month at least. we also need Satoshi with this forum's account of his comes online and talk some reasoning with the stubborn minority holding back the network improvement proposals.
Imagine if every single bitcoin holder refuses to sell less than $2000 but that's not going to happen because many people depend on daily trading of bitcoins and as soon as they can mine any they'll just sell at the highest available price.

I think that selling products & services for Bitcoin is not bad, it makes Bitcoin more popular, i think that exchanging into fiat hurts for Bitcoin.
15  Economy / Speculation / 1 Bitcoin Costs 2000$ on: February 20, 2017, 10:08:13 PM
What do we need to do to make 1 Bitcoin cost 2000$?
Do we need to invest and hold?
Do we need to make Bitcoin businesses?
Do we need to write more articles about Bitcoin for top news websites?
Do we need ask top 1 Youtube Blogger "PewDiePie" to promote Bitcoin?
Do we need to do it all?

What cause Bitcoin price to increase?
The more demand we have the bigger the price?
So we just need more people buying Bitcoin instead of selling?

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Heritage on: February 18, 2017, 04:18:07 AM
Solution is earning with you own head instead of waiting when your family member will die.
You will get the bitcoins only if you will know private key or seed words.
