Even if it's not giving a fully guaranty, but at least it could makes every investors or even bounty participant to be able to get even more protection about the coins that are purchased or gained.

Almost all members in this forum talk about bull run, coins that are good for investment and so on.
now I have a number of coin assets that I got from several bounty projects last year. the amount is not small when compared to other bounty participants, but the coin coins among them no longer have a volume on the exchanger.
maybe even the coin will be a worthless coin.
my question is. if there is a bull run when Ethereum, Bitcoin, EOS, Stellar and all other coins are greatly increased, will some of my coins be worth again?
Will a bull run affect the price of my token?
The scheme that usually happen is when the price or value of bitocoin increase. The most possible outcome would be the altcoins will be following the condition and they will also has their value increase. |

After all the falling period, i think now would be the time to collect as many coins as we could afford. The market seems to be recovering again, starting from yesterday, many of the cryptocurrency starting to turn green and the graphic increasing.

Several days back, the coins were dropping but starting from yesterday the condition does look better.
I can see the market mostly getting green.

Right now crypto is in a bad shape and the condition doesn't seems to be getting better anytime soon, based on what happen few weeks back when the price rising but then it dropping again just like what we knew today.

In this difficult market, the value of tokens is reduced very low. So, how do you console yourself? I first: I calculated the number of tokens I received, then multiplied by the ICO price, followed by multiplying it by the current ETH price. As a result, I received the corresponding ETH. I took the ETH multiplied peak rates ($1500- 2017) And I told myself if ETH peaks (2017), I will get a lot of $. Haha! For example: I received 1000 ABC token. ABC token ico price: 0.2$ Total received: 1000 * 0.2$ = 200$ Current ETH price: 150$ So I will receive: 200/150 = 1.33E If ETH = $1500 is like 2017, I will have 2000$.  ) What really i can do is just doing as much bounty as possible in order to collect as many reward as possible, and hoping if the future will be better. So this could become some kind of investment for the future. |

I don't thing there is a king for altcoins, why is that, it's because the price of altcoins still got affected by the price of bitcoins. So when altcoins isn't depend on bitcoin any longer, then that would be the time where altcoins will have it's leader.

The value of top coins dropping badly again, the market is unstable everything seems to be complicated. The worst scenario of crypto continues again as most of them were believing that this time there will not any downfall but crypto market has different thoughts.
When the price of crypto rising several weeks back, i've feel relieved because there is a sign of the crypto getting better, but looking it again today makes me feel bad about crypto, everything turns red again. |

Hi all! I and many of us here earned a lot coins form bounty campaigns. And I have real dilemma: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? How to avoid loosing everything by holding coins that will die, but also how to choose coins that are good to hold because they can give us 10x,100x. Thank you for your comments  . At this moment we can't hope for significant profit, to get a 10% increase would be good already. So just play it slow and gain a little profit at a time. and doing it over and over again to get more. |

I've been in this crypto world for sometimes now, i've ever meet good time and right now is the bad time that occur. And i still not given up on the hope for the future of crypto, i'm sure there will be time that crypto will be great again.

For me, both are fine I used both of the service with the existed service, in our local cucrrency. It should be a easily used by the people since that isn't a new technology. Many people has already used to that kind of technology.

Do I need to pay taxes if I sell an alt coin for bitcoin then rebuy a different alt coin. I never took out actual USD so I am unsure how that would work. Or am I only taxes on actual USD made when I cash out?
All i know i that, we won't get charged with tax if we are exchanging between altcoin vs bitcoin vice versa. what we have to pay would be the transaction fee for the miner's reward. |

What are the biggest sources, channels (YouTube channels/influencers, Twitter accounts/influencers etc, ICO rating websites) online that you use to find out in which ICO to invest in?
I think the biggest source is social media, and this bitcointalk forum. The investors who see advertise in social media will be interested and come into this forum to find out the project. Later they maybe search for video in Youtube to get more explanation about the ICO project. I had also feel that outcome from Social Media and bitcointalk, especially during the bull in 2017. During that time the result generated from those 2 things is rather a lot. |

Is it very bad if a coin has a low daily trading volume? The known coins have at least 6 figures or more traded daily at the very minimum. And of course btc and the top 10 coins are traded in the millions and even billions daily.

Based on what i experienced, not all coins are bad if they trading in a low volume. Some security coins are created to be held in your wallet, but it is still a good coin that give you incomes. So, it will still depends on the project, not on the trading volume in the market. That is also correct that not all coins with low transaction volume is good. There is a chance that a low trading volume could get rise up high leaving other coins that also has a big trading volume. |

I'm wondering what will happen to ICO if bitcoin goes back to 1000$ plus per one to find its bottom? Will ICO start dying off ? Cos presently ICO is already suffering from market condition and I'm wondering what ICO fate would be it bitcoin falls further ,any thoughts???
I think ICO will still be able to keep on going, and they should recalculated the price of their coins compared with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Then the fund collecting still able to be performed. |

Waiting for the market to get fixed like in the old days would takes so much time, and sadly we can't wait that long until it fully recover. So my strategy would be to collect as much coins as i could afford to get through many kind of way possible, and kept them stored until it could generate profit, even if it's just a little.

Witnessing the 2018 market is so much painful in many ways, all the bear that many people should endure is so much hard, many people has fallen. So i don't wanted to see that kind of condition during this year, any stable market can be good enough for this year to happen.

Is it necessary for an ICO to have soft-cap or does it show a sign of weakness and missing confidence?
Softcap is not a sign of weakness for a project, that is the minimum step needed for the project to keep on running even slowly. So when the project reach more than the softcap or even reaching the hardcap, then the project would be able to be developed even faster. |

From 2018 till date, we are getting awesome news on crypto. But market went into opposite. But hope progress can be made on SEC and/ or CFTC approval, US gov is back on action. Large name like Fidelity, IFC etc are quite confident in btc. Plus ethereum constantinopole hardfork is due. So future is bright, may be this rally will be ended but next bull run will be longer and higher
Yesterday i still saw the market is still green, but today several of the coins in the market are, and that makes me a bit worried if the market will fall again, but i hope what i'm worried is wrong and the market will turn green again. |
