option to remove the second coin column in ethman settings, rather than just '-'?

is it possible to have change most of claymores settings on the fly? changing files in a text file and restarting the miner everytime during testing is kind of archaic. im guessing some of the settings need to be set before run? if thats the case it can still be done a runtime and just have the miner reset when applied. way easier that killing claymore, changing setting(s), and starting again.

what does the format for the rigname string look like for config.txt and not the commandline? i ask because i have two rigs mining to ethermine and they are showing up as one even though i have them named differently. again, im using config.txt and not a .bat file with commands.
this is how they look currently: -epool us2.ethermine.org:4444.Rig1 -epool us2.ethermine.org:4444.Rig2
then again, maybe its another issue..

i just picked up a gigabyte 3gb 7950 for $50 locally. realizing now that you cant get 20Mh/s out of them anymore. i can get 12.3Mh/s stock out of it. pushing the memclock up(1250->1400->1500(failure)) doesnt do anything. pushing the coreclock up(1000->1200(max)) does get me to 14.35Mh/s though. i think thats about all i can squeeze out of her. thats probably not even worth it for the card, power consumption wise. not sure what it will do for XMR, but probably not worth it. im also having these issues with it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg19480415#msg19480415

im having an issue with fan speed and temp reporting. i am running on win10/7 64bit with claymore 9.5. in my main pc i have an nvidia card that my 3 monitors are plugged into. i have an amd 7950 that i am mining. why can i not get the fan stats in claymore w/o having a monitor plugged into it? on my other pc i have 2 RX470s where i only have 1 monitor plugged into one of the cards and it gives me the fan stats for both cards. with the monitor plugged into card: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F0fPKGOG.png&t=663&c=kztca_J0jH7CKA) without the monitor plugged into card: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FcdGHuLW.png&t=663&c=xIltMpNNCgTHrQ) i am seeing the temps and fan speed in HWINFO though: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FWyNeeHO.png&t=663&c=sF_0EWOMu60lmw) (not sure why these are not showing as images) a if i do plug a monitor into the 7950 i noticed 'snags' in 'processing'. like if im moving my mouse across the screen it will lag or 'snag'. but if i dont have it connected to anything(i cant see the fan speed/temps) i dont get any of those little snags or hiccups. i notice this mostly in my mouse or moving windows. sometimes typing and videos. i would like to get around this issue somehow but if i cant and just deal with not seeing the fan speed/temps, are those functions like fanmax/min, tt, etc no longer working in claymore?

total newb question. when i first started playing with straps the common standard mod was to take the 1500 strap and apply it to 1625, 1750, and 2000. when you take and edit the 1625 strap, do you apply it to only 1625, to 1625, 1750, and 2000, or do you apply it to all of them, 1500, 1625, 1750, and 2000?
That should depend on what mem clock you can achieve. You basically want the tightest timings that will still work at the highest mem clock. If your mem can do 2100 and the 1500 strap will only let you get to 1900...well you might want to use the 1625 strap instead. As always trial and error and performance/stability testing will find out what works best for your hardware. Every card is different. You only really need to apply a strap to the one frequency you will actually be using. Applying it to multiple ones will just give you some lower clocks to fall back on if a higher clock fails.so i should be applying the custom 1625 strap to the 2000 field because im shooting for above 2000 mem clock?

your stock 1625 strap ran through the CGI gets you over 2000 mem?
Yes. Here's the stock Hynix H5GC4 1625 strap: 999000000000000022559D0010DE7B4480551312B78C450A004C0601750414206A8900A00200312 018112D34A42A3816 And here's what I'm running at 2025 (stable after >24H): 999000000000000022559D0010DE5B4480551312B74C450A00400600750414206A8900A00200312 010112D34A42A3816 total newb question. when i first started playing with straps the common standard mod was to take the 1500 strap and apply it to 1625, 1750, and 2000. when you take and edit the 1625 strap, do you apply it to only 1625, to 1625, 1750, and 2000, or do you apply it to all of them, 1500, 1625, 1750, and 2000?

Well it works, got my hynix cards up-to 28.3MH ETH and my samsung cards up-to 31.5MH Eth all 4GB powercolor cards.
Also to all the people making tools for us here it would be nice to have donation addresses so that we can send you some tips.
Are you using the 1500 strap for hynix and 1750 for samsung? and what mem clocks did you use to get those (specifically the samsung)? For me I use the above straps and clock hynix at 1900-1925 (1950 if its stable) and 2050-2100 for samsung (although Im wondering if i can go higher than 2100 on some samsung chips) Try the 1625 strap for Hynix. On my Strix, 1500 was stable up to 1900, while the 1625 strap is rock solid at 2025. when i tried this strap: Evilop;

Small change ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) (just so you know, i'm not going to do this on a daily base.. :p) Greetings! Thank you Eliovp. Try it not stable for me, but after change it from 79 to 98 it got stable with same speed. 777000000000000022339D00CE51533 98055111230CB440900208400740114206A8900A002003120150F292F94273116 Maybe cause my card not good enough, or cause I still playing game with my pc. 777000000000000022339D00CE515A398055111230CB440900408400740114206A8900A00200312 0150F292F94273116 # small fix ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) i wasnt able to find stable, tough i only tested down to 1950 for mem. so maybe it would have been stable at 1900 like you said. it does 735 with no mem clock change. your stock 1625 strap ran through the CGI gets you over 2000 mem?
