1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: December 10, 2023, 03:14:15 PM
Is DOGE Coin's Rise a Sign of the Future of Cryptocurrencies, or a Fleeting Internet Meme Phenomenon?

I'm sure of the second answer. What can we expect from meme coins? They only rely on the community which makes no sense to call it an investment asset. I really lost money on the SHIBA and DOGE projects and honestly it was my fault. But can anyone explain what's so good about a meme project?
The way you are disregardiny meme coins is not good. There are so many meme coins that can give you so much profits in the market than you waiting for the reliable ones in the market. Cryptocurrency is all about taking risks and if you know how to take the risk and put it in a way that would yield profits then that's good. We can make huge profits from meme projects it we know how to go about it.
There are so many things we need to put in consideration for us to start earning.

Meme currencies like DOGE have undeniably altered traditional concepts of cryptocurrency trading, bringing an element of unpredictability that astute investors may utilize for rewards. The inherent volatility and speculative character of meme coins, on the other hand, call for prudence. While there is the potential for huge earnings, it is critical to balance risk and return. In this volatile environment, distinguishing between transitory online memes and long-term enterprises is critical.  The future of cryptocurrencies is dependent on a sophisticated grasp of both established assets and emergent meme ventures.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: Making a New Year resolution plan is Important. on: December 10, 2023, 02:52:47 PM
Wealth may provide comfort, but it does not provide immunity from life's unpredictabilities. Health is a precious possession that is frequently jeopardized by personal choices. The duality is seen in the delicate balance of individual agency vs exogenous circumstances. The unifying denominator, however, is resilience. Plans may fail, but our ability to adjust defines us. Recognizing the individuality of our travels, let us accept that setbacks need not imply resignation. As this chapter comes to a close, let resolve bloom once more, for in the symphony of our differences is the melody of our united humanity.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: World is full of things what nobody dont need just too much on: December 10, 2023, 02:49:36 PM
I think life is all about choice, despite the world is full of junk according to you. I think it's not a must to have them. Every thing produce in the market is useful perhaps not to every one. When yo don't have money or when we are not rich we criticize things we can't afford. But when we are super rich we think of having them all.  Despite the world is full of things we don't want according to you. We still need to embrace technology. Because this advancement in technology is the reason you were able to afford the type of phone you are using now.

Let take for example iPhone 4 was expensive when it came to the market and now upgraded to 14pro max, and not everyone would have been able to purchase it if the price was stucked uptill date. But due to the upgrade from time to time, the price of the previous becomes cheap and affordable. And many where able to afford it. If there were no innovation on steady basis how on Earth would you have affordable the type of things you have achieved today? I think civilization is making us to achieve things we can afford. So I think civilization and creativity is giving us room to benefit things we can't afford.

It's part of a larger worry about excess production, which can lead to a saturation of commodities that exceeds real need. While technical developments make luxury things and apparel more accessible throughout time, overproduction creates a surplus that exceeds individual purchasing power. It is not a matter of criticizing what we cannot afford; rather, it is a systemic issue of controlling surplus supply and its environmental and societal effects. To combat the excess of commodities, adopting technology should be aligned with sustainable behaviors.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: December 08, 2023, 03:32:24 PM
Navigating through the flood of speculative noise in the volatile world of cryptocurrency demands a keen eye. It is critical to proceed with care when confronted with the cacophony of cryptocurrency forecasts. While alluring headlines promise stratospheric riches, it's important to note that many of these self-proclaimed gurus have a chameleon-like history of preaching panic in bad markets and then abruptly morphing into optimistic prophets during bull markets.
It is critical to rely on thorough investigation rather than falling to the temptation of '100x' claims. Following influencers on social media blindly might lead to risky investing decisions. Instead, arm yourself with information, validate reputable sources, and devise an educated plan. A balanced approach is your best defense against possible traps in a market where disinformation abounds.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are the cause of millions of crypto project failures on: December 08, 2023, 03:43:32 AM
The concept that banks are the major cause of cryptocurrency project failures oversimplifies the crypto space's numerous issues. While the banks have restrictions, operate within a regulated system that maintains financial stability. Cryptocurrency initiatives frequently face roadblocks because to market speculation, a lack of transparency, and vulnerability to fraud. Blaming banks for failures ignores the need of prudent project management, investor education, and regulatory transparency. Although creative, the crypto ecosystem demands a more sophisticated strategy for long-term success.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: On retirement on: December 08, 2023, 03:30:41 AM
Consider retirement as an entry, not a departure, into a second act in which passion meets liberation. For individuals who are passionate about their work, retirement becomes a renaissance opportunity to turn professional passions into a tapestry of leisure.
It's an encore performance of a lifelong symphony, an opportunity to write a song of fulfillment and inquiry. As one chapter closes, retirees become writers of a story in which work and joy effortlessly mix, providing an opportunity to appreciate the encore of a life well-lived.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy (MSTR) as a GBTC alternative on: December 06, 2023, 04:01:39 PM
Utilizing MSTR as a fiat gateway into Bitcoin bypasses hurdles associated with traditional exchanges, streamlining the process. Nevertheless, prudent due diligence is essential, particularly regarding Saylor's custody practices. Assess the company's security measures and consider potential market influences on MSTR's performance
8  Economy / Economics / Re: World is full of things what nobody dont need just too much on: December 06, 2023, 03:53:55 PM
Traditional economic principles dictate that when there is an oversupply, prices should fall; nevertheless, the current surplus has a practical challenge-finding room for these things. This issue extends beyond tangible items to encompass fancy automobiles and even gourmet meals, resulting in an unexpected abundance. The imminent likelihood of interest rate decreases adds another dimension to the complicated issue as we navigate this age of excess, perhaps worsening the task of managing and disposing of the surplus.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold is up to new ATH, silver is up, BITCOIN IS BACK BABY!!! on: December 06, 2023, 03:51:00 PM

The drama plays out, and we brace ourselves for geopolitical twists, economic shifts, and maybe unanticipated pandemics. Adaptability is our screenplay in this crypto theater, and preparedness is the key to navigate the approaching drama. So buckle up Bitcoin's encore is only the first act of a fascinating concert.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: December 05, 2023, 04:20:07 PM
Its scrypt dominance, historical ATH in hash rate, and broad usage, as seen by its position as Bitpay's second-largest payment processor, portray a hopeful picture. Declarations as a commodity, together with backing from significant organizations like as Fidelity, EDXM, PayPal, Venmo, and Grayscale, strengthen its position. The prospect of an ETF increases the potential upside.
The use of MWEB for anonymity, paired with a fair launch, no premine, and steady uptime, increases the legitimacy of Litecoin. Given these variables in the context of the changing crypto environment, the potential of Litecoin's imminent awakening becomes increasingly realistic.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Do brands that take sides on divisive issues lose market share? on: December 05, 2023, 04:08:46 PM
Because their initial market share is restricted, smaller businesses may see a net rise in consumers even if the position is unpopular. Larger brands, on the other hand, may incur huge losses regardless of a fair mix of fans and opponents. The instances of Bud Light and Gillette show how vulnerable huge brands are to popular sentiment. This highlights the significance of understanding the dynamics of brand size, activism, and customer reaction for developing effective marketing tactics.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: All my social media friends don't want to reply me lately, dafuq is going on rn? on: December 05, 2023, 03:54:59 PM
It's tempting to believe they're ignoring you on purpose, but there might be other causes. Changes in people's life, such as increasing obligations or personal issues, might absorb their time and energy. Alternatively, group dynamics or interests may have shifted. Rather than leaping to conclusions, consider approaching someone directly to voice your concerns and inquire about the group's present situation.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments must have good plan very soon on: December 04, 2023, 07:22:48 AM
Governments should experiment with novel measures that alleviate economic disparities while also incentivizing productivity. Implementing targeted financial assistance programs, investing in skill development efforts, and encouraging entrepreneurship are all possible approaches. Encouraging collaboration between the commercial and public sectors to promote long-term job possibilities may also assist individuals relieve financial stress.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: New business idea. on: December 04, 2023, 07:08:42 AM
I would have posted this thread on my local board (Nigerian local board) but I didn't because both Nigerians and other countries can still benefit from this little business idea.
The kind of business I want to share is what is called graundnut oil making. This business idea can help someone that doesn't even have a skill and someone that is not even educated, all the person just needs to have is the money to buy the manufacturing equipment that's all.
With this graundnut oil making business, one can get the kind of life he/she wanted because the demands in this graundnut oil making business are a bit high. One can even start with a little money. However, this business is also an investment. If one can dedicate more time to it, he/she can benefit from it (can make it a company).

this information shows how the demands of the graundnut oil is in my country today is.
You can also watch a little on how to manufacture the graundnut oil, I can even invest more if I have this business and start making more money, so what are your takes in this idea?
I guess this is the first time I am hearing about groundnut oil business being something that could be done by the average person. I know red oil and kernel oil business is one of the most popular cooking oil businesses but I use to think that to go into the ground oil business you need to be registered with the government or something because most of the groundnut oil I do see around are mostly packaged in such a way that they appear mostly very sophisticated but I guess I need to do a bit of my personal research to know how easy it is to locally go into the groundnut oil business.

The groundnut oil company is a profitable operation that does not need a high degree of formality. It's a fantastic chance for people who have low means but a strong entrepreneurial spirit. While some firms may use fancy packaging, entering the local market with a great product might still have an impact. It's critical to investigate local legislation and quality requirements, but the business's accessibility makes it a realistic alternative for many.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 02, 2023, 08:19:38 AM
Given the current bullish market, I'd cautiously wait until after the BTC halving on April 24, 2024, to consider altcoin investments. Historical trends suggest post-halving dips, presenting potential opportunities to acquire altcoins at more favorable prices. Timing is key, and a strategic move during or post-halving could yield better returns in the volatile crypto landscape.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk predicts X will replace banks in 2024 - The Verge on: December 02, 2023, 07:56:19 AM
His idea of developing X into a full financial hub looks to be more of a pipe dream than a realistic goal. Skepticism is raised by the promise of transforming global transactions and leaving existing banks obsolete by the end of 2024. Musk's expansion into numerous projects, ranging from space exploration to electric automobiles, has some questioning his initial objective of colonizing Mars.
While Musk's previous accomplishments with X.com and PayPal give credibility, the current financial ecosystem presents complicated regulatory and public trust difficulties. The requirement of presenting an alternative to established services such as Western Union raises further concerns. Despite Musk's track record of beating odds, the timescale for X's financial transformation is unduly optimistic, making it a dubious addition to his ambitious portfolio.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: December 02, 2023, 07:53:00 AM
Creating your own route provides liberty and harmony with personal ideals, but it demands major commitment and is fraught with pitfalls. Finding a job, on the other hand, gives financial security without the need for personal asset investments, but the competitive job market requires certain skills and expertise.
According to my observations, the balance is determined by individual circumstances and risk tolerance. It's a fluid decision impacted by personal goals, abilities, and the ever-changing economic situation.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 02, 2023, 07:49:23 AM
The combination of money and a well-thought-out plan optimizes prospective rewards. A good concept helps investors make educated decisions, reduce risks, and uncover profitable possibilities. Financial success becomes uncertain without a strong awareness of the market, trends, and possible problems.
The experience you had with the young affluent man exemplifies the importance of information sharing. His interest in bitcoin expanded as a result of the information you gave, demonstrating the importance of ideas in affecting investing outcomes.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: November 30, 2023, 05:16:55 PM
It is, but not for everyone since others can't just afford it.

If you're making a more than enough money in your job, then getting an insurance, whatever kind of insurance that you need is a good move for the long run. It will save you from an emergency when you need it. However, not all insurances offer the same services, others are just going to give you headache when you want to get it, because for example, someone in your family died or got in an accident, which cover in your insurance.
Some policies are designed to work around certain fiscal limits. Prioritize important coverage like as health and income protection, gradually extending as your financial condition improves. It's a proactive move in ensuring your family's well-being. Seeking advice from insurance professionals or financial consultants can also help you build a plan that meets your needs while remaining within your budget. Remember that the peace of mind that insurance gives frequently surpasses the initial expenditure.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Growth mindset versus fixed mindset on: November 30, 2023, 04:33:39 PM
Your environment matters a lot on which mindset that you will have. Fixed mindset sees changes as stress and they don't want to try anything new because they think that it will be something stressful to them. They are adamant and they love the way they are i.e they are satisfy with the little that they know and think that they know it all.

However, people with growth mindset are always ready to learn something new a d take advantage of the benefits so that they can improve themselves no matter how hard it will take them to achieve it because they believe that it is possible. They accept changes and listen to people to hear from their own point of view, so see if they can learn something from it.
Having a growth mindset allows for constant learning and progress. Accepting difficulties, soliciting input, and viewing setbacks as stepping stones to progress are all critical. As you correctly pointed out, the distinction between fixed and development mindsets reflects the influence of one's environment. Choosing to view problems as opportunities for progress may influence not only personal development but also commercial and academic approaches. It's a significant transformation that motivates people toward achievement and fulfillment.
