Im in the process of redesigning the site, since my mining rig is also my main computer I can only throw about 10 - 20 kH at it during the day to still be able to use by computer at the same time.

I have started a new P2Pool Litecoin pool it is hosted in the UK and has a 0% fee.
I will start issuing donations once the pool hits a significant landmark of Hashes that's yet to me decided. The server also has additional DDoS protection beyond what is offered by P2Pool by default. The website for the server can be found here www.p2pool.biz
Here's how to connect:

Configure your miner like so -
Host: http://mine.p2pool.biz:9327/
Username: [The LTC Address you wish to be paid at]
Password: [Whatever you like]

Please post any problems you may have here to help me iron out any wrinkles with the server.
Thanks for your time and Happy mining.

I get shares fairly regular if I dont use the proxy but I was trying to be stratum compliant.  I had it running that way for  8 hours and didnt notice it get any shares.

Code:

this is a copy of the screen  does this look correct?

I have had no end of problems with the proxy, I suggest you either switch mining clients to one that supports stratum natively like cgminer, or just forget about it and use the perfectly serviceable getwork.

Assuming you have everything configured properly, you aren't seeing any shares as you are mining with a CPU, so you will be looking at least an hour before you get a share, that's why it's so pointless. You're better off mining litecoin with a CPU.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Litecoin mining prob. on: April 10, 2013, 04:59:29 PM
Hi guys.

Why i have on my 7970 in cgminer hashrate abou 600-800khash/s but on the pool notroll.in i have only 40-60khash/s? thanks

The problem is notroll.in is in a complete mess at the moment as it's operator is in hospital with no way to control or monitor his pool. I suggest you go elsewhere for now.  May I recommend my pool it's a P2Pool PPLNS pool. You can connect like so
host: mine.p2pool.biz:9327
username: [the LTC address you want to be paid at]
Pass: [whatever you like]

You are automatically paid your share of a block by P2Pool when it's been found and confirmed. So no individual has control of your share, so no need to worry about the pool operator disappearing off to Barbados with your LTCs.

Have you tried using reaper? as in my experience it s much better than cgminer.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Very low hash on: April 10, 2013, 10:35:34 AM
that's not even laptop numbers, my macbook get more than that if I optimise everything. You should definitely be getting more from that card IMO. Two questions:
1. What miner are you using?
2. What pool are you connected to?

Edit: just seen you're using cgminer.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduce yourself :) on: April 10, 2013, 09:53:12 AM
Hello I'm a new user.

I downloaded litecoin client a week ago, registered to litecoin poll "NOTROLL.IN"

yesterday the owner, Nicksasa, stole 20% of every of his users balance account.

Luckier people had withdrawn the day before. The ones who didnt withdraw are now screwed and their funds magically disappeared. Nicksasa found 5 minutes to log in and post an explanation: "I made an error and overpayed all miners for 14 hours more than I should and since some people already withdraw some funds I just stole 20% of every account, I dont care if you weren't mining at all on those 14 hours, I dont care at all if in your balance there are funds from a week or a month of work, it's mine now."

That's not actually what said was it? You shouldn't misquote, It can get you in trouble. Anyway I'm just as annoyed as you as I have lost 20% to that pool too. So I went ahead and setup my own pool. It's UK hosted, 0.5% fee, P2Pool PPLNS. it can be found at mine.p2pool.biz:9327 username:[whatever LTC address you want to be paid at] Password:[whatever you like]

That doesn't sound right. As above use a lightweight client. Bitcoin-qt is only really required for solo mining.

are you sure you have set all the params correct for that particular card?
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Legit BTC exchange that accepts credit cards? on: April 10, 2013, 09:40:39 AM
I think you would be better off looking for exhanges that accept paypal. That way you have 2 lays of of protection, paypal's buyer protection and then the insurance by your credit card issuer.
