1  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: sending from the same address using electrum on: June 28, 2017, 10:09:07 PM
Thank you all!  I now have an issue where gmx has blocked my account where support was being done even tho i've heard they are tor friendly.  I am confident this will all get resolved and when that account is unlocked the first order of business will be to tip you all for the help!   Hopefully each of you have a btc or ltc address so I can do that :]
2  Bitcoin / Electrum / sending from the same address using electrum on: June 24, 2017, 03:07:19 AM
I have a situation where in order to verify my account at btc-e, I must send another transaction using the same btc address. I am using the same wallet but when I make the deposit it shows it as coming from a different address.  I am using electrum 2.7.9 that comes built into tails.  I need to be able to send from that same address.  I have not done anything other than make a few transactions but it seems even though I am using the same wallet, same keys, etc... It will make a new sending address each time.  Is there a way I can reuse an address that has previously made a payment?  Thanks.
3  Economy / Exchanges / btc-e account purgatory on: June 23, 2017, 09:38:10 PM
The same day I made a deposit to btc-e my email account (mail2tor) associated with the btc-e account stopped being able to send and recieve emails.  This is a problem if you are trying to withdraw as I can't confirm anything now.  When I emailed the admin at mail2tor, I recieved an message back that it was undeliverable.  Same when I sent a test email to my own account.  Is this service down now for everyone? I made another mail2tor account and sent a test message and it hasn't recieved yet. Do these two services share the same administration and my account not working at the exact same time as the large deposit is no coincidence?  I opened a case with support and they said I needed to send the minimum amount from the same wallet as the last deposit.  I did this but it appears as a different wallet when viewed on the blockchain.  Im using electrum and I've been told it might automatically generate new addresses.  Im told I can have my account back if I can resend from the same address as before.  Is this possible with electrum?  I haven't done anything different other than send a few transactions with this wallet so I'm not sure why I can't prove an address is mine.  Any help on any front that gets me my account back will be generously rewarded. Thanks.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / bip38 cracking on: March 17, 2017, 07:44:41 AM
i understand there is a company that does this and there are projects on github that can do this as well.  https://github.com/cscott/bip38-cracker  is one of them but can it take inputs such as pieces of the password that i know i used?  I have it all but in such a long phrase there could be a misstype and it should be easy to crack with the notes i have.  Any one willing to help for less than 20%??  thanks.

Not joking, not a drug dealer.  Just a BTC OG looking to diversify one's investments.  I will need a casier's check or bank transfer.  I will sell them on exchange if i must but im looking to not move the market down that much because I have much more than 50 I need to sell.  I heard kraken has a "dark market" where a seller can find one or two buyers to buy the entire chunk at an agreed price rather than sell into ever-decreasing asks which then may cause panic.

looking to sell close to spot minus broker and escrow fees.  escrow would be preferred.  i can sell smaller amounts as well if 50 is balling too hard.
