if I won one of those crazy big-sized jackpots, I would invest a portion of the reward in low-risk investment bank accounts, and use the remaining if enough to buy a house or more, particularly to save the value of the money with devaluation. I might also invest some in bitcoin.

I wouldn't categorize bitcoin users to countries but instead to users, now that the price is high allot of people are drawn into bitcoin either as investors or simply just to take a look at the market. Countries until now mostly ignore or are against BTC with few exceptions like Japan.

There are plenty of taint analysis methods available for free online, even if it's divided to multiple address after thousands of TX's, you will even know how much of the tainted money is in which address. However mixer's can ruin this if the person uses them, as you would need the info from the mixer about the sent-to address (which they will never provide).

You obviously mean the best source for profit investing bitcoin rather than buying etc...? I wouldn't include HYIP's or Revshare as these project are non-sustainable, Gambling also isn't an investment. My pick would be trading BTC to USD and buying/selling Altcoins which can be very profitable.

it wouldn't be making much of a difference, considering how satoshi remained incognito for this long, even him/her revealing hi(e)(m)self probably won't happen anytime soon, also considering how bitcoin is open, Satoshi doesn't have specific implications on it anyway. also it would be too much of a hassle for him/her too.
btw: I'm politically correct, Yay!

it's fair in the technical sense, since the users are the ones to set it up when observing how congested the network is, allot prefer to pay up to $0.50 more cents to get it confirmed instantly rather than waiting for days.. On the other hand, a 1/5 of a KB requires 0.0006 or so now and 1 KB around 0.003 BTC which is too much, particularly for BTC as an interface for micropayments.

The only one competing with bitcoin on close grounds is ETH particularly with the unconfirmed TX hiatus in BTC now, many people are using it for regular, small microTX's, MONERO looks good and offers more anonymity so it can also get a part of the competition, but other than those all the other coins hardly put a challenge to BTC.

Bitcoin does pose a big issues for some countries, best example of these are Russia and China, where the financial system is not completely free and the local currency is controlled to an extent "we all know how much the US is trying to make China release it's coin to the world and hence improving in value, which would make Chinese products more expensive", Anyhow, BTC circumvent this since the local currency is traded to BTC "and mostly exchanged to USD earlier" hence impacting the price... Some countries ban it because it's hard to regulate and the countries are just incompetent.
