Have played with Dogecoins, Ethereum and Litecoin before. DOGE has a big advantage of being quicker, cheaper (1 DOGE fee = ~100 satoshi at max) to send payment with, thus cheaper to play with in addition the market does not get impacted majorly if you see a bitcoin value considering the offer/demand wall is high.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High school dropout who invested in bitcoin is now a millionaire at 18 on: July 04, 2017, 06:26:50 AM
The best thing regarding investing is being right at the right time, He invested that sum of money (which wasn't nothing for him) at the beginning of bitcoin and had accepted significant risk to this invested money and was rewarded with these millions,
Wondering if there are stories like these which are hidden among us in this forum?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: June 29, 2017, 07:53:10 AM
Banks (which are the core of the current world financial system) won't disappear, because they serve a big need for depositors (interest) and loaners (funding), peer 2 peer lending still has a long way to go and banks lending system works now, so it is not replacing banks anytime soon.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: May 29, 2017, 05:22:38 PM
a really difficult question, bitcoin enthusiast say so, but practically speaking, it's hard to see our conventional money going away anytime soon and majority of the people in the world are not ready for this "the absolute majority" so it's still to early to even talk about that.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: May 29, 2017, 04:14:54 PM
Almost all of the options your mentioned are outright scams, excluding just gambling and trading, gambling isn't a source of BTC though and is a negative profit game due to the house edge. The only genuine bitcoin investment that can result in profit here is trading either by trading to USD, altcoins or buying and selling stocks through havelock and the like.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 29, 2017, 03:44:32 PM
Maybe replacing USD and fiat overall is an exaggeration, but definitely getting a big cut of the market, a prestigious status as a top universal currency and getting sole domination over the online and international payment fields are easier to achieve goals. Completely removing as rooted as fiat might be difficult but changing it isn't as much.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 29, 2017, 03:29:05 PM
Nor easy, I too aim at something like that but to actually try to implement it and depend on BTC as a source of income "as a primary job" you would at least need to get a monthly stable profit larger than actual salary, since the web and BTC and it's projects aren't stable or predictable.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: May 29, 2017, 02:44:03 PM
There is a topic in the board about a european bank, allowing direct BTC accounts, if that's really the case then that's one, I doubt it will produce interest though, so it wouldn't be different that keeping it in our wallet and being our own bank..
also some banks not really accept BTC but is supportive in a sense, at least not freezing exchanges and Bitcoiner's accounts.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 29, 2017, 02:18:23 PM
Gold is my choice especially for long investment, bitcoin is very promising indeed but still lacks stability which is an important part of large investor's confidence in something, even if the price is at $3000 it could crash to $1000 and it wouldn't be unprecedented, while gold's oz won't instantly fall to 20 USD over night (and if it did, it will be a 1st time large crash and a surprise).
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: May 29, 2017, 02:09:16 PM
Of course, being well knowledgeable in the field of their trading is the most important regardless of what the exact field is "stocks, forex, or even bitcoin and crypto's", having good self control and ability to read the market based on actual facts and not emotions, and of course having enough capital to withstand few losses and keep moving forward.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: March 14, 2017, 03:11:46 PM
The NBA first-seeds are getting a little interesting with Spurs getting the tie with GSW, I still think the warriors will get it "if they get out of this -irregular for them - losing streak..

BTW anyone feeling the 76ers tonight Cheesy ?
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fellow High Rollers - STOP Using NitrogenSports RIPOFF ODDS on: February 28, 2017, 02:17:17 PM
Fairlay is Legit, Been using it for a year and didn't have any issues. in fact they are improving with time.

However, Nitro odds vary according to game, for example in ralle14's table:

Quote
                          Nitrogensports            Fairlay             Directbet
Real Sociedad :               1.843                  1.854                1.79

Draw :                        3.650                  3.651                3.4

Eibar :                       4.791                  4.822                4.3

it is not that bad, and NBA lines aren't awful. but MLB Pre-S is bad...

even so, for the 1-cent-worse lines the 1 cent can be your +ve
