1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 18, 2025, 06:42:19 AM
The hosts prevailed in the highly challenging matches.
Bayern defeated Chelsea, Liverpool defeated Atletico, and PSG defeated Atalanta comfortably. Ajax lost 0-2 at home to Inter. Inter scored from corners. Hakan headed the ball to Thuram for the first goal, who then scored with a stunning header. The second goal came the same way.
I was left with the impression that Dutch football was in decline. Ajax and PSV lost their league matches, both at home. Feyenoord were also eliminated from the knockout stages. Both PSV and Ajax, whom I watch, have weak squads. I think both will finish near the bottom of the Champions League.
That's quite possible, and I don't think it's because Ajax and PSV are declining, but rather because other teams have improved each season, while the Dutch league hasn't changed much, making Ajax and PSV unable to compete in the Champions League.

I didn't see any major surprises in all the matches, but the intense match between Bayern Munich and Chelsea was a bit boring. I initially thought both teams would play fiercely, but Chelsea weren't able to do much to improve their performance.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 18, 2025, 06:25:36 AM
Real Madrid and Barcelona are biggest and most succeessful clubs in Spain so during La Liga history, in many seasons they were biggest competitors with each other in La Liga competition. The other clubs sometimes participate in title competitions but most titles won by Real Madrid and Barcelona especially in recent decades. During the last three decades, there are only two clubs that manage to win La Liga titles, Valencia and Atletico Madrid while the two giants completely have dominated the league in many recent years.
In this season, the Laliga title fight will be between Barcelona and Madrid. It is almost certain that no other team  will participate in the title  fight. Atletico madrid's  performance is quite erratic. Although  Espanyol is currently in 3rd place in the table with 10 points, this team will not be able to maintain a good performance throughout the season. In addition, the performance of teams like Athletic club and villarreal is also quite erratic. So the title fight will be between Madrid and Barcelona. The team that plays well consistently  will be  the champion. Barcelona is already 2 points behind Madrid.
At the start of the season, some teams performed impressively and managed to win their first few matches, but that didn't last long. We've seen countless times how these teams couldn't maintain consistent performance, ultimately leaving only Real Madrid and Barcelona able to compete for the title.

Atlético Madrid's performance this season is still quite poor, so there's no need to expect anything from them. I think Atletico Madrid still has the same problems as last season, so they won't be able to put pressure on the top of the table in the title race.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: September 18, 2025, 06:09:16 AM
Chelsea is far behind Bayern as long as champions league is concerned. Even if the match is rescheduled, Bayern will still win.
Chelsea have spent a lot of money to build their squad but they have failed to perform as well as expected this season. They have dropped points in two of their four Champions League matches. They have also not been able to perform well in the Champions League. Bayern Munich dominated their home match and won. Since Chelsea had a strong squad, we were all expecting the same fiercely competitive match. But Chelsea have not performed well. Chelsea are going to face Manchester United in their next match. If Chelsea fails to get full points in this match too, then their dream of dominating the Premier League should be abandoned.
you are not wrong buddy, all your said here are actually true, I never expected Chelsea to perform so naively yesterday against Bayern Munich because I taught that they would have rose up to the challenge, but I was actually wrong here. What really surprised me was how poor Enzo Fernandes was and the coach refuse to change him till all damage has been done. Though Bayern Munich is a very high quality team, but I didn't expect them to  play Chelsea the way they did, and with what I saw, it seems like experience was the major brain behind the success of Bayern Munich last night against Chelsea, a massive three points and a massive start for them, congratulations to Bayern Munich on their convincing winning.
Bayern Munich has a stronger team than Chelsea, so we shouldn't be surprised by what happened in this match. Bayern Munich was able to dominate and control the game, preventing Chelsea from developing their game.
I still can't judge Chelsea this season, although their early performance was a bit poor. However, Enzo still has progress to make, so we have to be patient.
Last season, Chelsea slowly improved, so the same thing could happen again this season.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: without investments would there be wealthy? on: September 18, 2025, 05:51:14 AM
In my opinion, the majority of people who were successful today started from personal skill or self development, after which before they started investments.

What Is your thoughts over this?
It's rare to see people who's not got an initial skill or worked for sometime going into investments and making it from there, unless it's a generational wealth. Everyone who built wealth from scratch always has a skill and working history which enabled them to gather funds for investment purposes. Some people even invested into what they do, it grew bigger and they're wealthy today
That's right, investing is done by people who already have a lot of money or have an established business, so they use it as a way to save their money for further growth.
We must understand proper investing. Never expect to get rich from small investments. What we need to do now is work hard and accumulate a lot of money, then invest some of it for the future. That's one way we can become rich.

Real Madrid vs Marseille was won by Real Madrid with a narrow score of 2-1. In my opinion, both teams played well because they attacked each other with great enthusiasm. Weah was a surprising player because he was the first to score a goal against Real Madrid. Of course, that was a good thing for Marseille because it was certainly a source of pride for Marseille to score a goal against Real Madrid, given that Real Madrid has strong players.

It seems that without the penalty kick, Real Madrid would have likely lost because Marseille scored one goal against them. However, fortunately, Real Madrid won because they were awarded a penalty kick, which ultimately led to their victory in the match. When betting, I was confused because I was afraid my prediction was wrong since Marseille scored first, but fortunately, Real Madrid won.

In my opinion, Xabi still needs to improve Real Madrid because their performance is still not good enough, especially in the Champions League where the competition is extremely fierce. Did you succeed in your bets for this match?
I agree with you, perhaps without the penalty, Real Madrid wouldn't have been able to win this match. We have to admit that Marseille played very well in this match on the defensive side and even overall Marseille was able to control the ball position. This shows that Real Madrid was just lucky in this match that allowed them to win.

Xabi Alonso needs to do a lot of work to improve Real Madrid's performance. Although in the last five matches they have always been able to win matches, I have never seen them win easily even against weaker teams.

I never expected such from Juventus against Borussia Dortmund, from the look of things this Juventus team is a team to look out for now because the way they are playing now, they might likely be challenging for a trophy this season. I never expected that the match will produce 8 goals especially after the first half ended in 1 - 0 for the away team. Juventus made a late comeback to draw the game 4 - 4 FT.
Before you start seeing Juventus as a team to compete for titles remember that they are almost the same with their opponent Dortmund, two terrible teams playing against each other and we should be expecting this kind of result. At some point I was wondering who's going to take the lead and stay on top in that encounter and Dortmund on the other hand have better players upfront than Juventus but still they could not hang on to their win while winning the game 2-4 and they were there sleeping on bike and the game ended 4-4 with 2mins Juventus got 2 goals, we can't praise these clubs. I applaud Juventus for that come back like it happened against Inter but still I don't think they can go far in the champions league and also getting close to the league title or maybe as contenders.
It's too early to say, as the season is still very long, but it's clear that Juventus' performance and strength this season are much stronger than last season.

And the two goals in the final minutes of the match to make it a 4-4 draw are a testament to the current Juventus mentality. It's extraordinary and deserves appreciation. Even though Dortmund isn't a strong team this season, in matches we can see how a team performs and their fighting spirit, and now Juventus has that.

We have some HUGE games for Champions league in this week, and LaLiga teams faces some pretty dificult opponents, Barcelona against Newcastle is gonna be super interesting to see, first of all to see on which level is now this Barcelona against a top tier team like Newcastle, and second to see how the rotation is gonna work this year.
Barcelona vs Newcastle will be todays game. It will be an interesting game to watch. Newcastle has been better this season, mostly against big teams in the premier league. They also have a 6,6 ft new striker after Alexander Isak left for Liverpool.

The LaLiga teams are to win their games in the first week. Real Madrid won yesterday, with 10 men, I hope Barcelona can win against Newcastle today.
I wouldn't doubt Barcelona because, overall, Barcelona's strength is far superior to Newcastle's, and this season, Barcelona has proven its quality, so the Champions League matches will certainly be Barcelona's focus.

On the other hand, Newcastle isn't a team with a strong Champions League mentality. As a new team this season competing in the Champions League, they naturally face high pressure and a different atmosphere than Barcelona.

Manchester united had a disappointing result against Manchester city, allowing city winning them with an extraordinary results that made fans regret devoting time for there game. This seasons result is giving reasons why fans should loss trust in both coach and the players at large in Manchester united.

Talking about the unimaginable results coming Manchester united this season, both players and coaches should be hold responsible because at times the coach lacks the ability to make tactical changes when the team needs such changes  instead he goes about doing some experimental decisions that at last contributed the teams failure
Manchester United has really disappointed everyone this season. I never thought Manchester United would go through such a bad time. But yes, everyone goes through such a situation at some point. Looking at the current situation of Manchester United, it doesn't seem like they will be able to do anything very good in the future. Manchester United's opponents can't understand what the opponents are doing. Maybe the coach will explain everything. If the coach doesn't explain it, how will the players get it. I think Manchester United should change their coach.
Not just this season, but for the past few seasons, Manchester United has been in a slump, so I'm not surprised by what's happening now.
If we go back to blaming the coach, I think it's unfair. Manchester United has changed managers so many times, but there hasn't been any visible change. It seems the fault isn't with the coach, but with the entire management. A major overhaul is needed, and progress must be made.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't keep money meant for your business in Bitcoin. on: September 17, 2025, 03:44:42 AM
While there is no doubt that bitcoin is the most valuable investment so far, but I don’t agree with the idea of keeping your funds into bitcoin. You are just putting your money being compromised, and expect that it will be a lot safer and secured than putting it in a bank but in reality, you are risking your money that anytime it will suddenly drop its value without you being prepared on it.

Learn to separate your real money from bitcoin. Bitcoin may continuously increase its store of value, but I don’t think it’s the right thing to do entrusting all your funds into bitcoin.
That's absolutely unacceptable. Bitcoin is an investment, so we must be able to distinguish between our needs and the investment we make.
Set aside money that's ready to invest in Bitcoin, and with the rest, we can do our normal activities. Don't gamble on Bitcoin's rapid rise, as this will create emotional instability and reduce confidence in our investment.

Meanwhile, this evening Como plays Genoa, a fairly simple match in my opinion
Given the investments made, Como is certainly ahead of Genoa, which has had less money and therefore less room for growth.

Let's see how it ends, it's interesting to understand who will win
It was a shame that Como could only manage a draw in that match. Como had been close to winning the match, but playing with only 10 men from the 88th minute gave Genoa a better chance to attack the Como defense. Furthermore, Jacobo Ramon, who received a red card, was a defender. This automatically weakened Como's defense. Genoa dramatically equalized the score at 1-1 in the 90+2 minute. I'm sure Como were truly frustrated with this result. They only needed to hold on for a few more minutes, but they failed. Still, a draw is better than losing.
It was indeed painful to concede a goal in the final minutes of the match, and I don't think it was because of the red card, but rather because Genoa managed to keep the pressure on Como's defense until the end of the match. On the other hand, Como's players seemed unable to escape the pressure, which led to them conceding a goal in the final minutes, resulting in a draw.
And I won't overreact to this match, as Como still has plenty of time to improve, although what happened last season is difficult to repeat.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 16, 2025, 09:44:40 AM
Barcelona is in good performance this season. Just imagine what they did to Valencia, a team like Valencia. I knew Barcelona would win the match, but not with many goals like this. 6 goals is a lot. However, Valencia cannot recover from this loss they got from Barcelona. Even if they need it again, they will still experience loss.

Furthermore, you are right that even without some players, Hansi Flick knows how to make a good strategy to work things out in Barcelona. This last one was without Yamal and still went successfully. This is to show that Hansi Flick knows what he is doing, and he does not rely on some certain players; he has a full squad.
There's a significant difference in quality between Barcelona and Barcelona, but Barcelona's convincing victory is proof that Barcelona's performance this season is truly exceptional. In my opinion, they're much stronger than last season. Now, Barcelona just needs to maintain consistency.

Hansi Flick has built a fairly well-rounded Barcelona squad, and maintaining the team's performance stability is their primary focus. This has led to the signing of several substitutes of comparable quality, and it's been quite effective so far.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 16, 2025, 07:36:22 AM
Amorin is never a problem he was the best coach when he was in sporting the problem remains in the system Manchester United doesn't have a good team that can perform yet. The players in United are not doing enough to win games they are not competitive and is relaxed no matter the result that they get.
Perfectly said!! I don't even rate any football fan calling him a bad manager honestly. Because only a daft football fan would say things like he's a bad manager. We have quality players in front of goal who can hurt teams but we need our midfielders to detect games and control the tempo of the game. Exactly!! I don't see the fight from these players and we can't be talking about growth and change and still have players like Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire still in the squad.
Everything takes time, but if there's no positive progress within half a season, it means the coach has failed. We can't say Amorim is a bad or good coach, but I think he's simply not a good fit for the Manchester United team, resulting in no positive changes.

Overall, it seems there's nothing wrong, for example, the players are quality, as is the coach. However, Manchester United's management needs to be improved and the process should begin on the right track. They're currently in a deep slump and need effective and extra efforts to recover.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: September 16, 2025, 07:13:16 AM
Different uncertain circumstances can hinder one from having numerous source of income but if one is in a better situation whereby they're fit or healthy enough to have numerous source of income then the better for such folks cause more source of income means more discretionary for investment and more funds to take care of other expenses too and more discretionary means a higher rate of accumulation to yield more profits, that's why when an investor has held for so many years, many about a decade or so it would be wise for the person to take some profits and create another source of income, maybe a business that would generate more income and discretionary to accumulate more Bitcoin and add value to their portfolio.
Earning money from multiple places is great idea if you are healthy enough to do so. More income means more money for you to invest and cover your expenses. This helps you build your wealth faster. If investor has held asset for a very long time like ten years it can be smart choice to sell portion of it. They can then use that money to start new business. This new business can become another source of income providing even more funds to invest and grow their portfolio.
Some people make the mistake of selling all there Bitcoin just because they want to start a new business or investment with the money and after selling it and the start there new business or investment some time later it crashes and they lose it and also lose their bitcoin investment so keep your Bitcoin investment going while trying out other business or investment.
Yeah, I would not really advise selling all your Bitcoin just to start up a business. It is way too risky because you’re basically putting everything on one side and leaving nothing behind..  Business is unpredictable too, you can get it right, but you can also fail and end up with nothing to fall back on.

For me it makes more sense to keep your Bitcoin stack running in the background and only use what you can afford to risk for a business or new investment. That way, even if the business does not work out, you still have your Bitcoin holding you steady for the long term…
That's excellent advice, and I'd even say we should forget about any usefulness of Bitcoin ownership and let the investment continue until the future or at a time we've determined to profit, but that's definitely for the long term.

I've considered starting a business using the profits I've earned from my investments, but the risks in business can also destroy everything. Indeed, our current investment in Bitcoin has been quite profitable. Rather than stopping the profits we've been earning for so long, it's better to continue and persevere to earn profits. I think that's much better and easier.

Most people have school certificate, but most of them not even understand what they taught on school.
Some of today's generation simply allow themselves to be bound by their parents' mandate to "get a high certificate for a decent job," even though they have access to unlimited knowledge to update their understanding of modern economics and business.
I might be wrong to say this in a developed country, but it's still the orientation of parents in my neighborhood to send their children to school today
In my environment, it is also the same, even my brother experienced this, it is very unfortunate when someone cannot develop his desires and prioritizes legality due to encouragement from his parents, some people do not know how to get out of this situation and the rest struggle on their own to adjust and the percentage of success is very small.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 14, 2025, 06:46:22 AM
Although I expected this two games between Everton/villa and Crystal Palace/Sunderland to end either a draw or a narrow win but to finish goalless I honestly didn’t see that coming. We all know how tough the premier league is so this kind of results are ment to happen sometimes, I just hope the Manchester Derby doesn’t hold similar fate.
The result was quite disappointing for me. I've seen Everton and Crystal Palace play quite well and productively in their last few matches, so I bet on them last night, especially since they were both playing at home. I thought they would have a high percentage of winning, but the match turned out to be very boring, with no goals scored.

I hope tonight's Manchester Derby won't be the same as those two matches. It was truly boring. Although Manchester City and Manchester United aren't in top form, I think the derby and high tension will make the match much more intense. Regardless of who wins, I'm sure it will be an exciting match.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 13, 2025, 06:48:57 AM
Sevilla is drawing at home against Elche from the way Sevilla is playing they are still far from having a competitive team I expected that Sevilla should have gotten back to form this new season, but am not seeing any signs of improvement with all due respect to Elche I didn't expect that they should be a hard knot to crack for Sevilla playing at home.
Sevilla played well, they just unlucky to face a motivated team. Not only Sevilla, Elche even held off Atletico Madrid & Real Betis this season, results I couldn't have predicted. With this result, Sevilla is ranked #11 & Elche is ranked #6 temporarily.

BTW, other La Liga matches will be played today, out of those matches, which one do you think is worth betting on?
Real Madrid will be visiting Real Sociedad. I think it's a match worth betting on. The bookmaker has offered odds of 1.60 for a Real Madrid win, which is quite tempting considering the high win percentage.

The draw against Sevilla isn't surprising, as Elche was a strong team at the start of the season. However, overall, I don't think Sevilla has improved much in the last two seasons, so they're likely to remain at the bottom of the table this season, just like last season.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 13, 2025, 06:03:58 AM
Leverkusen finally broke their poor record today. This was their first Bundesliga win after two disappointing matches. One thing's for sure, they didn't have much possession in this match, only 38%, but you can see the chances they created. 18 shots, a stark contrast to what Ten Hag did. From this it's clear that our previous debate about Ten Hag has been proven and his dismissal was indeed a good move by Leverkusen management.
Ten Hag has a lot of images at Man United. I was already pessimistic when Leverkusen brought him in. Furthermore, his arrival has seen the release of several key players. That adds to my doubts. Perhaps letting him go was the right decision, as we can already see the results. But I can't be completely sure, as this will be a long-term process in the league system. Leverkusen may also have to go through a lot of games. So, we'll see. Will they be able to perform like Xabi again?
It is certainly difficult to repeat the success like when with Xabi Alonso but at least with Ten Hag's dismissal we can see how the Leverkusen team can be much better, Kasper Hjulmand who just got this job can immediately make a positive impact, this can not be used as any reference but the victory in the first match under Kasper Hjulmand's coaching can make the confidence of Leverkusen players increase drastically to face the next match.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 13, 2025, 05:18:27 AM
Inter Milan of last season can't be compared to Juventus of last season but the good old days are no more for Inter Milan as they already not getting better in the new season so picking them ahead of Juventus in that old is very risky cause they may not find the game easy. Chivu has his own coaching pattern though he hasn't got it easy with the team yet but for the game it's going to be Juventus ahead of them for now unless Inter Milan has a miracle they choose to perform that day.
Juventus was no where compared to Inter, but initially at the start of last season they were both in almost a rat race but at a time Inter did stayed ahead so much  they Juventus could not catch up and this season is gradually not looking any different. Juventus against Inter is a game where both teams are eventually going to experience very strong resistance from each other and will have the best side win or likely end sharing one point each.
This season, everything is different, especially Inter Milan, who have made a coaching change. They appear to be less strong than last season, and this contrasts sharply with Juventus. Therefore, tonight's match between the two teams cannot be based on what happened last season.

I think Juventus, playing at home, has a great chance of winning, and that's for good reason. Their performance in the first two matches of the season has been noticeably better, and two wins will boost the team's confidence ahead of the upcoming match against Inter Milan.

  • Arsenal vs Nottingham
  • Brentford vs Chelsea
  • Burnley vs Liverpool
  • Man City vs Man United

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool will more easily win the match even though this is just a quick prediction that I can do. But Man City and Man United are a big match that is difficult to predict. Statistically Man United is better but from the depth of the squad, Man City is far superior. So is BTTS (YES) a good choice in the Man City vs Man United match?
Regardless of the recent coach changes, I'm still convinced Arsenal will get three points sorted out. Brentford lost a lot too many quality players and also the manager, don't pay attention to the odds, this is a game Chelsea should win if they seize the chances they have. Liverpool remains one out of the two clubs unbeaten in the Premier League Competition,  I don't see that coming to an end today. I will be going for Manchester United to score a goal. They've the firepower in attack..
Judging by their overall strength, it seems like it won't be difficult for Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea to win this weekend's matches.

However, I don't think it will be easy for Manchester United. This is a tough match, especially as it will be played at the Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City, which gives them high confidence and prestige in front of their home fans.
Although both Manchester teams haven't found their best form yet, I still believe this match will be a tight and difficult one to predict, as the percentages between the two teams are not that far apart.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: without investments would there be wealthy? on: September 13, 2025, 04:42:43 AM
I wouldn't want to create a very lengthy topic to post as I don't see any reason for doing so..
So I was thinking something tonight that everyone or anyone who succeeded or becoming wealthy today do they really succeed through investments?

If yes, then how many people around you becoming wealthy through investments?
In my area generally wealthy people come from businesses they develop, while investing is probably a small percentage compared to previous generations. It might be a little different now because our generation is more focused on investing, although I don't have data on what percentage of the current generation has become wealthy through investing. I suspect a small percentage of the current generation has achieved wealth through investing, and the percentage is probably higher in the business sector in general, both for previous and current generations. This is especially true in my area, as I've observed that people who own their own businesses accumulate wealth much more quickly.
Those are two different things in my opinion, business must be done to get money or profit while investment is done after we get money, the point is we have to work first to get money and then start investing to achieve wealth because it is impossible for us to invest without capital and whether someone is rich or not in investing also I think depends on the capital they have (besides knowledge about investment).
