3r is out of range, 3N is the highest possible prefix, 123456789ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijkmnopqrstuvwxyz.

It is not about impossible sequence, address is a number in some range which is encoded using using Base58 coding.

that's what I meant, prefix! so it's out of range = prefix 3r doesn't exist
but prefix '33r' would still be possible, right? so I still can try to find address starts with '33rds'
I think it won't take long to find such address, would be unbelievably lucky if it gives me '33rdspace' Grin

33r is not a problem, if you compare those prefixes it goes like this: 33r < 3N < 3r
So 33r is the lowest of those three, 3r is the highest.

can someone point me to a good source on standard format of P2SH segwit address?
I can't seem to generate/find address with starting pattern '3r'
I'm trying to figure out if there's certain limitations on the possible generated address
the allowed characters still the same, right? no 0 (zero), O (uppercase o), I (uppercase  i) and l (lowercase  l)
"123456789ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijkmnopqrstuvwxyz"
is there certain impossible sequence of characters (pattern) that can be generated?

3r is out of range, 3N is the highest possible prefix, 123456789ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijkmnopqrstuvwxyz.

It is not about impossible sequence, address is a number in some range which is encoded using using Base58 coding.

Code:
./vanitygen -F script -C BTC 3r
Generating BTC Address
Prefix '3r' not possible

Any new developments on any projects like this like with regex on GPU?

I get 100mkey on a 1080ti if anyone wanted to know

I have  animplementation of what I call conditions, it is not exactly a regexp, but may be even more useful, I can target each character indexing it either from left (0,1,2,...) or right (-1,-2,-3,...).

[position][exact|range|lower|upper|number|letter|lower&number|upper&number][value1][value2]...

Where position is from 0...n from the start of the address and -1, -2...-n from the end of the address.

I can also code arbitrary function for special cases.

The speed is probably the half of standard oclvanitygen (130Mh/s vs 60Mh/s on my Vega Frontier Edition Liquid), meaning much faster than on CPU.

hi all
I want to search for an address that I believe its in between 2 specific hex.
How can i search for this address with this conditions this program?

Can you elaborate, address is Base 58, not hex. Do you mean raw RIPEMD160 result?

Simple
When i use vanitygen64 -k 1fun
Program show me some address start of 1fun from all bitcoin private keys range

Private keys range start from 1 to  fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffebaaedce6af48a03bbfd25e8cd0364140

For now i want, when i use vanitygen64 -k 1fun code line, i input search range with private key and program only search a small range of private key and show only the address start of 1fun in my believe specific range.

Do I understand correctly, that you want to find an address which starts with 1fun an private key is in some range? That seems possible. What is the purpose of that? How wide is the range?

Yes Understand True.
The results of this work will be used to check the possibilities of addressing their neighbors

The search range is different and will be used in a variety of hardships

How can i input the search range on Vanitygen ?

No way currently. You would need to change private key generation algorithm to only generate keys in your range. But should be possible. Technically I don't see any problem.

I know Thats, Search the private Keys generation algorithm in files code, dont find any , so ask from your to help me
Do you know which one file code i must edit to find private Keys generation algorithm??

oclengine.c - EC points comes to the OpenCL engine as ocl_points_in
calc_addrs.cl - kernel hash_ec_point_search_prefix gets them in points_in

If it has some commercial value for you, I may look into it for a price.

I gladly can say that you can purchase a real olive tree with the xgox coin now! If you order one now and you pay with xgox coin,  we can give you a 10% discount.
Happy staking!

That seems really strange to buy olive oil with XGOX, but why not. Seem that XGOX is booming nicely. First lottery, and now olive oil. I am looking forward what will happen next. Smiley

Why are certain patters so much harder to find then other patterns?

I was looking for somebodies name with the -i option so non case sensitive.

It found last name first name in under a minute (guess I got really lucky) with a difficulty of 778316249440 which with 15Mkey/s would take 10 hours for a 50% chance.

Now I searched for the exact name but with first name last name and that gave a difficulty of 23349487483220 which would take 13 days for a 50% chance.

Why is this?

Is there also a reason why people are only looking for patterns in the beginning of the adress?

I probably don't understand all the ins and outs yet but basically the program starts with some randomness to create usefull privatekeys and then just generates millions of keys just looking for some key to fly by that resolved to a public address that has the pattern we are looking for.

If that is true then why can't I search with oclvanitygen for patterns anywhere in the address, not just in the beginning.

Or am I missing something here?

Use vanitygen with the -r (regex) option and you can search for patterns anywhere in the address.  Be aware that this is much slower than using oclvanitygen though.  Also, the program doesn't check for the validity of your search so you could be searching for something that doesn't exist as a Bitcoin address if you aren't careful.

for example,
vanitygen -r 0f
(that's a zero by the way) will cause the program to search forever because zero is not a valid base58 character.

I am in a process of implementing arbitrary matching using GPU, it is not exactly a regexp (which I think is not good for this kind of problem), but I can define the pattern in the following way currently:

[position][exact|range|lower|upper|number|letter|lower&number|upper&number][value1][value2]...

Where position is from 0...n from the start of the address and -1, -2...-n from the end of the address.

I can also code arbitrary function for special cases.

The speed is probably the half of standard oclvanitygen (130Mh/s vs 60Mh/s), meaning much faster than on CPU.

I am experimenting with next generation vanity addresses (these are for DOGE):

Code:
DEH1PMK4H7F2V5TZ8ZP9AUMU96PS9HDpay
DNGF62J9CD2GNGTLATMVKTDSNLR9CXQcfg
DK76D5YAQXZJU4CT9KD1TVS7LF4HQF8rot
...

Basically I can generate address with constraints on the on other places than just prefix on GPU. I tried for example using only numbers and upper case letter in the front and then generate lowercase string like pay, cfg, rot above.

Anyone interested in address like that?

I can generate any symbol anywhere in the string fast, about 60,000,000 key pairs per second.

I can also implement various feature to vanitygen for a price if you need. I have been buried in the the sources for the last two months.

It is. I am running that bash script for a couple of days and.

Thanks a lot for this.At first I was unable to compile the source, but I found out which package to install for PCRE support

It's testing away now with 10,000 keypairs a second. Wow, this really could get me hooked on trying out OpenCL coding, if only I had the time...

10,000 per second?

On my Vega FE, I am generating 130,000,000 per second.

Just bought some and staking! Really interesting project. I'm sure it will go 10x soon so this is good time to invest.
Good luck for developers and project.

Could you post stats about, how much did you get by staking? I am interested in results, I am trying to stake myself: XGOX, XGOX Dark and Deep Onion. I am new to PoS coins and I would like to asses the returns made by staking.

What I see for now - active dev teem and nice community. But I still cannot understand, what is this coin for? And what is the difference from other coins which were created to pay for games?

Yes I think this coin is dedicated to online gaming. Not sure about other coins for gaming, but I like the idea of "Provably Fair" games, where you can check if the game is not rigged.

Making the wallet available for a large number of platforms is a good start. I myself build a Linux version as mentioned above.

Are these staking pools safe? I don't know if I trust with my coins to somebody else. Also the idea seems to be to stake yourself, otherwise the stake pool become quite powerful.
