1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cuda Miner. on: June 26, 2013, 03:18:57 AM
Hi guys,

I would very much like to know how to setup my cuda miner so that I can have it pointed at two different servers on the same pool (just as anyone is able to do with cg miner)

Helping me in this would be beyond brilliant!

Thank you all for any help you're willing to give!

Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone can direct me to a readme as to how to set up cudaminer with multiple pools for failover.

I've read the thread and the readme, but not sure if this feature has been added yet.

Tyvm!

Sorry for the double post (mines 5 above [in post number/pages] the last post I made), but in my first post I'd forgotten to quote whom I was replying to.

If anyone can point both of us in the right direction I would love that person! The direction I'm referring to is as follows all lines below below:

I would very much like to know how to setup my cuda miner so that I can have it pointed at two pools (not simultaneously). First the preferable pool, and the next just another pool in case the best pool goes out

Tried everything i could think of, in terms of cgminers protocols (attempting to apply them to cuda miner). It would be brilliant if there was a way to add backup pools in case one goes down.

As said above, helping us in this would make my day.

Thank you all for any help you're willing to give!

is there a cuda miner driver for a generic asus 1gb. i can't seem to find a driver anywhere. its asus 1gb ddr. think it might be a radeon of some sort

First of all, cuda miner is for nvidia cards. Using any AMD card with cuda miner would be worthless. Secondly Find a scrypt miner that is used for AMD cards. You'll be getting a much better khash/s out of it.
If it's a radeon you've come to the opposite place you should be..
IF it is a AMD graphics card (radeon) then download the latest drivers from AMD for your card.

I don't know if it's just an issue for me, but I'm mining and haven't been paid in about 6 hours now. Not only that, but on the block stats page, there hasn't been a new block in hours, and they're all stuck at the same number of confirmations they were at hours ago. The pool is however still reporting and updating my khash. I've never seen a pool do this before, I also hope it's superficial. My miners are chugging along like everything is perfect though, so i don't really know what to think..

Restarted miners. Still showing up, and updating on the graph page. No payouts and not on the miner page anymore. Sent pm but he's offline.

I was getting paid every two minutes for a while .8 each time usually. It's now stopped even though my miners are chugging along fine. What's going on? Haven't had a payout in 20 minutes. I forgot to mention. My address appears in the graph section, but no longer am i among the miners. I was there a couple hours ago.. I'm pretty confused.

Man, a lot of people might lose a lot of money (temporarily or permanently) if it hit single digits. Makes my stomach turn lol

This is really sad. I guess if there's a way to take advantage of people, someone will find it.

This probably isn't going to help you very much.. But from what i've found, this forum is one of the best for keeping up to date. Other than that BTC-E's trollbox haha.
