1  Economy / Service Discussion / Mt. Gox Confirmed issue unable to withdrawl BTC currently on: July 29, 2013, 03:37:19 PM
So, I tried to withdrawal 50 BTC from MT Gox.  Its been over an hour and my transaction has not even hit the blockchain to show unconfirmed.  Basically, they haven't sent my btc even though they removed them from my account.  Here's the response I got from my support request..

Alex Support, Jul 30 00:31 (JST):

The problem is, when you request a withdrawal from mtgox, they take your money from your account.  Then, they never actually process the transfer but you are left without the money in your account to buy btc.  Basically they are double screwing you.  I can't even get them to cancel my transfers so I can buy btc to move them out of gox.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did anyone get wire from mtgox after the suspension ended? on: July 18, 2013, 11:58:50 AM
I can't even get them to cancel my transfers so I can get the money back in my account to buy btc.
Every support call/ticket is met with the same canned response that never addresses any of my questions or concerns.
I had great faith in them after the way they handled the hacking incident several years ago and they returned all my bitcoin, but seems like now they are unable to deal with their current struggles.

How did you get them cancelled?  I can't get any response other than the standard "we are working on it" template.

I would love to transfer to BTC and remove that from MTGOX.  Unfortunately since they removed my money when I requested a withdrawal, I no longer have it available to buy BTC.  I'm screwed until they do the wire transfer or return my money.  I can't get them to do either because every support request is met with the same damn template response no matter what you ask or say in the request.
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are some of the positives and negatives of Coinbase? on: July 15, 2013, 04:17:35 PM
Love coinbase!  Easy to buy, easy to sell, easy to get money in/out.
I need fiat out of my BTC funds occasionally and they make that very painless.
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anybody received withdrawals from MtGox last weeks? on: July 12, 2013, 01:10:54 PM
Been waiting on mine for over a month.  Bad part is you can't buy btc to transfer out because after requesting the withdrawal a month ago the money was removed from my account, but the withdrawal transfer has still not happened.  I have $30K stuck.

Been waiting since 6/12 for my withdrawals.  It's very scary to think I may never get my money!

They responded today and I received my withdrawal to Dwolla.  I guess I'm lucky all the others went off without a hitch.
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much for an international wire transfer on mtgox? on: July 09, 2013, 10:57:26 AM
It will cost you a minimum of one month!  If you ever get it.  I've been waiting for 1 month for mine at least.  That cost more than any fees they could add up on top of it.
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Two weeks more for cash withdrawals of USD!!!!!!! on: July 07, 2013, 01:39:09 PM
I would love to hear from anyone who was able to get money out of MTGOX since they reported they are processing withdrawals again.  I'm not sure I believe them.  Mine was held up for a week before they announced another two weeks so it's now been nearly a month for me.  I'd hope I would be somewhere upfront in the line to get mine processed if they had stared processing them again.

I finally heard back from them via the PM I sent on this forum.  They told me they'd sort it out tomorrow (Monday).  I'll keep you updated.

I agree with you, I haven't waited as long but been waiting for $2k for about 4 days when every other time I have withdrawn it took just a few minutes.  Something has happened with them and they are not communicating.

15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: So...Gox has stopped USD withdrawals for 2 weeks, to upgrade???? on: June 20, 2013, 02:47:38 PM
Gox has been telling me for 9 days now that my transfer will be processed "any day now".  Yesterday they told me "by the end of this week".  I'm scared to even ask today.  It's not good, I'm getting verified on CampBX now and will send BTC there to trade and transfer since they seem to be very quick with my test transfers.  Problem with them is their website is painfully slow though.
16  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Coinabul owe me 90btc on: June 18, 2013, 02:35:38 PM
After two months I received my order, however it was very light to the tune of about $800 worth of silver.  I got the runaround for several more days before being told it was due to the difference in price of the BTC from the time I placed the order to the time it was accepted.  This is a blatant scam and they have just enough friends here with Thymos and others not to get a scammer tag.  Also, they are smart enough I think to make 90% of their clients happy so only 10% getting screwed doesn't get out of hand.  They were also smart enough recently to hire some help and respond to emails much faster.  Don't get sucked into that, they are still purposefully scamming a percentage of all their customers.  Use another service!
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox International wires - now being queued instead of processed instantly on: June 18, 2013, 02:13:43 PM
I'm also still waiting on two swift transfers from Last Wed and Thursday.  It always went very quickly before and now they say they will let me know when they are able to process the transfers.  I keep asking their support WHEN they will process and they will not answer with a date.  This is very concerning and their support conveniently can't speak type English well enough to make sense to me.  They keep telling me they will "intimate" me when they can process the transfers.
18  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Coinabul owe me 81btc on: May 31, 2013, 11:02:42 PM
I'm about over this shitty forum and the shitty moderators.  How in the hell can coinabul not be listed as a scammer?  I'll tell you how, Jay at coinabul must somehow be friendly or connected with them.  There is no other explanation.  Many, Many people have been listed as a scammer for much less.  I have definitely lost all respect for this site and the mods here for not doing something about this while more and more people like me lose thousands of dollars to this scam artist.
Don't like what I'm saying?  Prove me wrong and get this guy listed as a scammer as he deserves.

I think you are 100% right, they just do a horrible job communicating so no one knows what's going on and assumes the worst.  I don't know why they would have such a hard time saying exactly what you just did to their customers.
