1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [GUIDE] Jesse's Official Overclocking (voltmod) Guide For Gridseeds on: April 18, 2014, 07:20:54 PM
Do you know exactly what solder was used? What should I set my reflow at?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin on: December 17, 2013, 03:46:42 PM
I would not recommend mining at http://tag.cryptopool.it/. There is something seriously wrong with this pool aside from the slow interface. Most of the time it was just me and my friend mining, but something in the last 24 hours has caused some major issues. So the pool is clearly accepting shares, but here is what I find interesting. I have about 20 unconfirmed TAG from finding block 17847. P2Pool.org lists 18280 as the current block. That is 433 confirms. http://tag.cryptopool.it/'s payout point is 200 confirms. It still lists the block as 106 confirms left.

Is it me or does this pool seem fishy? I've tried to contact the pool owner without any luck.
3  Bitcoin / Mining support / bfgminer doesn't compile uthash-dev not found on: December 16, 2013, 03:23:47 AM
Looking for a little bit of help on compiling bfgminer on debian.

I am running
Code:
Linux bamt-miner 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Mon Jan 16 16:04:25 UTC 2012 i686 GNU/Linux

I cloned the git repo ran ./autogen.sh and ./configure

Configuring results with uthash-dev not being found, but it clearly is installed. Any suggestions?

Code:
configure: error: Could not find HASH_ITER - please install uthash-dev 1.9.4+

root@bamt-miner:/opt/miners/bfgminer/bfgminer# apt-get install uthash-dev
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
uthash-dev is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

4  Other / Beginners & Help / joining bitcointalk painful? on: December 07, 2013, 06:43:24 AM
So this is a really basic post. I understand forums and restricted forums. Here is the reason I'm posting. I've wanted to post at multiple alt coin forums, so I sign up only to not be able to post.

To me this system seems flawed. I've been mining over 8 months and have helped many people building Ubuntu 13.04 mining rigs.

The question I ask is why are new alt coin replies restricted? If your following your model, new members = noobs. New coin = noob coin. So why restrict all of us who don't just want to talk about bitcoin?

I have a feeling it will setting somewhere above 600 for a couple of weeks before it starts to rise again. Watching that red candle is pretty hard for me right now.. I really don't want to sell just yet.
