1  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] MTG Magic: the Gathering cards on: July 01, 2014, 11:09:49 PM
Do you purchase Online accounts? I have a MTGO account that has thousands of cards i'd like to get rid of. I just never play anymore, last time i played heavy was back when the multiplayer emperor format was around.

LMK if you are interested and ill send the list with all of the cards the account has.. IIRC, its somewhere around 10k cards, give or take.

Send the list!

So I have some magic cards, but I am a newbie when it comes to how do I know what year they are, or what edition?  Any help on this?

Not sure I have any great ones but figure it would be worth a shot, they are about 15 years old so not sure?

See if you can find any cards that you have that are listed on http://blacklotusgo.com/pages/buylist

Lots of cards available at excellent prices! Spend that BTC at a vendor that won't turn it into USD!

I don't suppose you'd be interested in Cards from World of Warcraft Card games?

At this time we are keeping our focus on Magic: the Gathering.

Buylist prices are high across the board right now. We are aggressively trying to acquire more stock!

I'm trying to come up with a clever way to work a plug for my site into this thread but I think the situation itself is funny enough that I'll just drop it off.

http://blacklotusgo.com sells magic cards for bitcoin and also pays out bitcoin for magic cards. You might say it's a Magic: the Gathering online exchange.

Our buylist has been update to include more cards, even better prices, and Born of the Gods!

We now have hundreds of unique foil cards stocked and are adding more daily.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Magic: the Gathering blockchain analysis? Also, theory of motive.. on: February 27, 2014, 01:54:56 AM
I find it humorous you're calling it Magic the Gathering.  I think that hurts them too...who would want to deposit thousands of dollars on a system and company built to trade Magic cards?!

Why wouldn't you? Smiley

I don't know about you guys, but I had some good times in my teens and early twenties playing Magic: The Gathering.  Who else would like to see Mt. Gox return to it's roots?

http://blacklotusgo.com was actually created just to be able to accept bitcoin for Magic: the Gathering sales. It's also the only MTG store in the world that pays out bitcoin for cards through its buylist.
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the greatest lesson of MtGox? on: February 27, 2014, 01:50:45 AM
Do not trust any company with a funny name, especially one that is called Magic: The Gathering Online

Unless they actually exchange Magic cards for bitcoin (and vice versa), of course Wink
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: At Least Bitcoin Won't Be Associated With A Card Game Anymore... on: February 27, 2014, 01:47:31 AM
I hope the card game will continue to be associated with bitcoin, however. Wink

15  Other / Beginners & Help / How do I add my site to en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Trade? on: February 27, 2014, 01:22:55 AM
I would like to add my website, http://blacklotusgo.com to https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Trade under section 8.12, "Toys, Games, and Hobbies".

The listing would read as follows:

BlackLotusGo Games Retailer of Magic: the Gathering trading cards. Pays BTC for MTG cards through the buylist.

Can I add this to the page myself, and if not, who can I ask to add it?

Don't forget that spending BTC is the best way to support BTC! We are one of the few vendors accepting BTC who do not convert it instantly into USD - we distribute it to the people who sell their cards to us!
17  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] MTG Magic: the Gathering cards on: February 12, 2014, 06:31:26 PM
I just wanted to post an update that the site is running well. Buylist for Born of the Gods cards will be implemented very soon!
