Hi everyone, newb poster here.

I've been mining litecoins using CGminer and a radeon HD 7850.

I'd like to give mining feathercoins a try, so I signed up for a mining pool and configured CGminer to work with it.

When I run CGminer it generates the following error: "Pool 0 Slow/Down or URL or credentials invalid."

I was able to successfully mine with GUIminer scrypt on the same feathercoin pool.

Is CGminer compatible with feathercoins?

Hi everyone, newb cryptocurrency enthusiast here =).

Just got CPU miner for litecoin set up on my PC , using coinotron pool for now.

Pretty new to all of this, interested in cryptocurrencies as an alternative to dollars!

My GPU is an old radeon HD 4000 series so looks like I'll be doing CPU mining until I can upgrade, thats why I went with litecoin over bitcoin.
