1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Who do coin owners not revieal who they are? on: April 14, 2017, 10:42:51 PM
On some Coins like Veros you can see the people but on 99% of coins you can't.  Why is this?  It's like they are hiding.  If I was doing a successful coin, I would want people to know I was the one who started it.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I have questions and I have bitcoins on: March 16, 2017, 04:31:38 PM
I am looking to get the cost for a 15 min call from someone who is well experienced in this industry.    I would like to do this now, this will be general questions in regards to starting a coin.  No programming questions, please list your cost
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What's with the lack of transparancy? on: March 16, 2017, 04:17:25 PM
I see how transparency is key in this industry when people do ICO or have a start up.  So why is so many coins hiding the images of their team or masking them, showing images of pets or other thing and not the founding members images.   How do people invest with no real info from people. links to their facebook to know they are real.  Etc?  If I was investing in a coin I would want to know that.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Intresting Question on: March 15, 2017, 05:09:44 PM
As it is now, all coins that are on the exchange are traded like a stock.  At the last know price like bitcoin.

But, could a coin be treated like a mutual fund? where the trades that happen through the day are based off of the last price the day before so no matter how it changes through out the day, the price stays the same and updates at midnight each day?

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Intresting Coin Idea on: March 13, 2017, 04:47:08 AM
I have a question.

I have a unique coin I want to launch.  There is nothing special about the coin, but the people who have it.   I work with a small country where they have no computers.  I would like to start a coin for them as they really don't use banks.  There is over 50,000 people.

How would I do this if they cant mine the coins and have no direct access to the internet to trade them?  Cell phones are few and far between.

This is a third world with lots of stealing money from people so if I can make it into a digital coin, that would help them.
