Unless you're worried that you can't handle a temporary drop (e.g. you need to get stable parts of your investment back over time for some reason) you shouldn't stop.
The drop in value is most likely temporary and it shouldn't be a problem if there's a HF - just keep mining original Bitcoin and it'll probably die off to be honest.
Im going to start mining for the first time, I have no rush for the money like you say... So I will get the s9 then. I will be mining the original btc, or I should be mining the new btu? |

He means x11 asics instead of sha asics, basically it's a different algorithm which means you can't mine bitcoin but only certain altcoins which you can then sell for btc. It's currently more profitable but it might not stay that way. Make sure to make proper calculations to make sure you ROI.  Oh ok ok, Im more interested on mining btc you should seriously consider it, because if you point it at nicehash it's basically like mining bitcoin, the autoconversion make it look like you are mining bitcoin directly i see the chance of not reaching profit is equal to an antminer, with the current strong network of dash which is a x11 coin, will not die easily trust me... And also whats the coin they produce? i recommend you the baikal a-900 giant i have one at home and it work really good, producing 0.02 a day which blow away any antminer, and all this for only 200 watt there is really no competition between the two, oen is currently roing in 3 months the other in years if ever, but unfortunately they are out of stock at the moment, you need to wait for them to be available again But in baikalminer.com they have stock, or not? Where else I can get it online? |

Los mineros ASIC grandes como los que citas llevan el software incorporado. Se conectan a la red local y se controlan con el navegador web. Nada de software adicional  Con respecto a la habitacion yo probaria en la de la ventana. El aire acondicionado no creo que pueda con ello, y si puede te dispara el consumo. Ah ok ok y cuales son esos? Son buenos? Me recomendaron el avalon 741, es bueno? Que se necesita para la instalación? |

Hi all, I want to start mining and I have a couple of questions.
First, I know that AntMiner is the best miner, but I cant buy the miner in bitmain.com cuz it always says its "sold out", is there any trick of buy the s9 in that page? Because in my country (Venezuela) people sells the s9 in 2500$ and in the website costs around 1500$, I would love to buy in the page bitmain.
Second, I saw the avalon 741 in cannan website and they do have stock, but I dont know anyone thats mining with this machine, is it a good bit coin miner? Its hard to configurate?
Third, I have no clue about install the miner, does it needs a software, phone apps? Any guide to help me?

Buenos días, me llamo Miguel y soy de Venezuela, y quiero comenzar a invertir en la minería de bitcoin.
Tengo varias dudas que estaría muy agradecido me pudieran solventar. Primero, sé que la marca que está hoy por hoy reconocida cómo la mejor son las Antminer s9, he tratado de adquirirlas mediante bitmain.com pero siempre aparecen cómo agotadas, su precio es de 1600$ aprox y aquí en mi país las venden en 2500$ así que la diferencia es mucha y no me parece rentable comprarlas a ese precio, hay algún truco o secreto para poder comprarlas por la página oficial bitmain? entonces estuve indagando y encontré las Avalon 741 que cuestan 800$ y son de 7.3 TH/s y hay stock en la página de Canaan, el problema es que no conozco a nadie que mine con las avalon, son recomendables? Son buenas?
Segunda inquietud, dispongo de dos espacios donde tengo pensando usar las máquinas, uno es un cuarto con ventana pero sin aire acondicionado y el otro es un cuarto sin ventanas pero con aire acondicionado, que espacio sería mejor?
Y tercera pregunta, y me disculpan si molesto un poco, para comenzar a minar es necesario buscar algunos software en especial o cosas así? Ya en esa área estoy totalmente nublado, alguna guía que recomienden al 100%?
